Abstract

The package (10) e.g. box, has a cavity (11) with an article perfume bottle. The cavity has a visualization section (20) visualizing the bottle along an observation direction. The section visualizes a decorative motif along another observation direction. The section has a transparent sheet (21) and a face (22a) enabling the visualization of the bottle and the motif, respectively, and extending in different planes. The visualization section enables the visualization of another decorative motif along a third direction of visualization that is different from the former and later direction of visualization.

Description

The present invention relates to a packaging for an article, such as a article containing a cosmetic product, and in particular a case or a box.

There are already packages that include viewing windows allowing to visualize the product placed inside the packaging. However, such a window reduces the surface area of the packaging on which can be printed a decorative pattern or an inscription. Besides, if we use a packaging that does not have a window so as to exploit the entire surface for the decor, you cannot view the article without opening the conditioning.

The document EP 0 403 134 also describes a packaging which comprises a window to allow an article to be seen inside the packaging. However, the window is constituted by a hologram which allows, depending from the viewing angle, to see an image carried by the hologram or the article present in the packaging. However, holograms require certain lighting conditions to be able to properly visualize the image they carry. In addition, holograms are generally colored, the item inside the packaging cannot be viewed only through the colored window so you can't see the actual aesthetics of the item.

US patent 6,023,866 further describes a game in the form of a shaped card. by a support on which are affixed strips carrying portions image so as to form several images, the card not being configured to condition an item.

Also, is it one of the objects of the invention to provide packaging for an item that allows the buyer to view the item while allowing to obtain a surface receiving a relatively large decorative pattern.

It is in particular an object of the invention to provide packaging with a new decorative effect.

According to the invention, these objects can be achieved by performing a packaging delimiting a dwelling in which an article is housed containing a cosmetic product, which comprises at least one configured portion to, according to a first direction of observation, allow to visualize the minus part of the article and, according to a second direction of observation distinct from the first, allow to visualize a first decorative motif, the portion comprising at least a first transparent element allowing the visualization of the article and at least one second element covered with the first pattern, the two elements extending in different planes. The portion can further be configured for, in a third direction of observation separate from the first and second, allow viewing a second decorative pattern identical or different from the first.

Thus, such conditioning makes it possible to observe the article which it contains for outside without the need to open the packaging, while offering a relatively large external surface to decorate.

In addition, the same packaging offers several different visuals depending on the position with which it is observed. So, as we get moves relative to the packaging, we can see decorations different and / or the article, and this separately, or even see simultaneously partly the decor and partly the article. We can thus animate points of sale and in particular store windows at lower cost.

The second element of the packaging can be in the form of a strip, and in particular may have several strips arranged in parallel the to each other.

The first transparent element can be made of transparent material, or again through an opening. We can thus visualize the actual aesthetics of the article.

The viewing portion may include an insert made from a sheet folded into a plurality of strips. Alternatively, the viewing portion may include an insert produced by extruding a thermoplastic material, or by molding from a single piece of a thermoplastic material, especially by injection or thermoforming.

The packaging can be in the form of a box or a case. It can be used to package an item containing a cosmetic product.

According to another of its aspects, the invention also relates to, independently or in combination with the above, conditioning delimiting a dwelling suitable for containing an article, which comprises at least one portion configured to, in a first direction of observation, allow to view at least part of the article and, in a second direction of observation distinct from the first, allow to visualize a first pattern decorative, the portion comprising at least a first element, made of transparent material, allowing viewing of the article and at least one second element covered with the first pattern, the two elements extending in different plans.

The invention consists, apart from the arrangements set out above, of a certain number of other arrangements which will be explained below, with reference to nonlimiting exemplary embodiments, described with reference to the appended figures, among which:

The packaging 10 represented in FIGS. 1, 1A to 1C, is in the form a case. It defines a housing 11 intended to receive a perfume bottle 30, for example. The case 10 is of parallelepiped shape and is made in thermoplastic material. Alternatively, the case can be made in any other material, for example cardboard, wood, metal, etc. It has six sides of which one face 12 is crossed by a window 13, for example of shape rectangular. The window 13 can alternatively be square in shape, circular, oval or any other shape. An insert 20 is fixed in the window 13.

The insert 20 comprises a transparent sheet 21 extending in a plane P. Several identical strips 22, each having two opposite faces 22a and 22b, extend in a plane perpendicular to the plane P of the sheet 21, the strips being arranged parallel to each other. One serving 23 sheet 21 surrounds the strips 22 so as to form a frame device which is intended to be fixed on the inner surface of the face 12 of the case, all around the window 13, preferably set back from the latter by so that the strips do not extend beyond face 12. It is by example stuck on the interior surface of a recess 14 surrounding the window. The sheet 21 and the strips 22 are formed from a single part for example by extrusion of a thermoplastic material.

We can plan to have a protective film, not shown, to protect the strips from the outside. The film can for example be fixed opposite the sheet 21 relative to the strips, on the outer surface of face 12.

A first decorative motif A, for example trees, is drawn on a first face 22a of the strips, the entire pattern being distributed over all of the faces 22a. Of course, the pattern can also be made up by an inscription relating to the article. A second decorative motif B, for example a substantially oval geometric shape is drawn on the second side 22b of the strips, opposite the first, and distributed over all of the faces 22b.

When looking at the case in a direction perpendicular to the plane P of the sheet 21, we see the perfume bottle 30 through sheet 21 which is transparent, as well as the edge 22c of the strips 22 (see FIG. 1B). When looking at the case in a direction forming an angle of 45 ° by compared to sheet 21, from the left, we see the first motif A, namely the trees, which is shown on the faces 22a of the strips, without seeing the bottle (see Figure 1A). When we look in a direction forming an angle of 45 ° with respect to sheet 21, from the right, we can see the second pattern B, at know the oval geometric shape, which is represented on the faces 22b of strips. Between these viewing positions you can, in directions intermediaries, see partly the perfume bottle and partly one of the motifs A or B.

To make the insert 20, a thermoplastic material is extruded such as by example of polypropylene, polyethylene or polyethylene terephthalate, so as to make the sheet 21 and the strips 22 arranged so perpendicular to the sheet as seen in Figure 2A. We then pass a printing roller on insert 20 by moving it perpendicularly to the strips 22, as shown in FIG. 2B. We print the first decorative motif A on the faces 22a. We then pass a roll printing in the other direction so as to print the second decorative pattern B on the second faces 22b opposite the first (see Figure 2C). During the passage of the roll, the strips 22 flatten so that they protect of any printing the sheet 21 of the insert which remains transparent.

The insert thus obtained is inserted into the case which has been obtained in a conventional manner. The insert 20 is for example glued over its entire periphery 23 on the surface inside of the face 12 surrounding the window, in particular on the surface interior of the recess 14.

According to a variant not shown, the wall in which the window is formed can be curved. It is for example a form conditioning cylindrical. The strips are then no longer arranged in parallel between them, and are each arranged perpendicular to the wall curved. According to this embodiment, each pattern appears so progressive when moving along this curve.

The packaging 110 shown in FIGS. 3A to 3C is in the form of a case identical to the one just described but has a 120 insert different from the one just described. A 130 perfume bottle is also housed inside the packaging.

The insert 120 is formed by a sheet 121 folded so as to form first bands 122, arranged in the same plane, separated by ridges 123 formed by seconds and third bands 123a and 123b. For make the insert, we start with a sheet 121 initially transparent on which a decorative motif A is printed, for example a rectangle (FIG. 4A). The reason A is distributed over the second strips 123a while the rest of the sheet 121, namely bands 122 and 123b, remains transparent. The second strips 123a are folded so as to form an angle of 45 ° to the plane of the strips 122 and the third strips 123b are folded so as to form a angle of 90 ° with respect to the plane of the strips 122 (see FIG. 4B). A movie transparent support 124 is bonded to the faces of the first strips 122, at opposite the ridges 123, so as to maintain the entire sheet 121 thus folded (see Figure 4C).

The insert 120 thus obtained is fixed in the case 130 by gluing for example the periphery of the film 124 on the internal surface of the face 112, around the window 130, the ridges 123 being oriented towards the inside of the case.

Alternatively, the insert 120 can be fixed in the other direction, namely by arranging the ridges 123 towards the outside of the case and the film 124 towards the inside. The insert can then be stuck on its periphery in the case, on a notch provided around window 113 so that the ridges do not overflow the window. We can then provide a protective film protecting the insert from the outside which can be fixed opposite the film 124 and glued to the surface exterior of face 112.

According to this embodiment, when looking at the case in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the bands 122, we partially visualize the first pattern A on the strips 123a and in part the perfume bottle through the first strips 122 transparent and film 124 (FIG. 3B). When we look in a direction forming an angle of 45 ° relative to the plane of the strips 122, from the left, we can see the perfume bottle 130 through strips 122 and 123b and film 124 (FIG. 3A). Finally, when looking in one direction forming an angle of 45 ° with respect to the plane of the strips 122, from the right, we only see the pattern, namely the rectangle which is represented on the second strips 123a, without seeing the perfume bottle.

According to a variant of this second embodiment shown in Figure 5, the three bands have an identical width. The first bands 222 are transparent while a first pattern A is printed on the second bands 223a and a second pattern B is printed on the third bands 223b. The seconds and third bands are this time glued together and are arranged substantially perpendicular to the first strips 222 which extend in the same plane. A transparent support film 224 can in addition to being glued to the faces of the first strips 222 so as to maintain the entire sheet thus folded. We thus obtain the same visual as with the insert described in the first embodiment.

According to another embodiment not shown, the insert can be formed by a peripheral frame which extends in a plane and delimits an opening rectangular, and with attached strips. The strips are arranged parallel to each other and each extend for example in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the frame. The two ends of the strips are for example inserted into slots provided in the frame so as to be kept in the frame. According to this embodiment, the strips can be printed on only one or on both sides before being inserted into the frame. They can for example be printed before being cut into strips, or after being cut. The again, we obtain the same visual as with the insert described in the first mode of realization, the perfume bottle being able to be visualized when looking the case in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the frame looking at the through the opening.

It is of course possible to produce a box or a case comprising several windows each provided with an insert as just described.

In the foregoing detailed description, reference has been made to modes of preferred embodiments of the invention. It is obvious that there are variations be made without departing from the invention as claimed below.

Claims (10)

Packaging (10; 110) delimiting a housing (11; 111) in which is housed an article (30; 130) containing a cosmetic product, characterized in that it comprises at least one portion (20; 120; 220) configured for , according to a first direction of observation, allow to visualize at least a part of the article (30; 130) and, according to a second direction of observation distinct from the first, allow to visualize a first decorative pattern (A), the portion comprising at least a first transparent element (21; 122, 123b; 222) allowing the article to be viewed and at least a second element (22a; 123a; 223a) covered with the first pattern, the two elements extending in different plans. Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the portion (20; 120; 220) is configured to, in a third direction of observation distinct from the first and the second, allow to visualize a second identical decorative pattern (B) or different from the first. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second element is in the form of a strip. Packaging according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the second element comprises several strips arranged in parallel to each other. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first transparent element is made of transparent material, or by an opening. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the display portion (120; 220) comprises an insert produced from a sheet folded in a plurality of strips.
