Abstract

The dispenser has a cavity for the thin plastics gloves and a glove outlet (11). A stack of gloves are folded or rolled around a support bar (9) which is fixed on the walls of the cavity and prevented from rotating. The support bar is semi-cylindrical and is held at its ends in the semi-cylindrical housings (7) located in the cavity walls. The dispenser is hung through an opening (10) on a hook (13), and the outlet opening (11) for the gloves is located opposite the hook. The support bar (9) is located near the outlet opening (11). Description

DISPOSABLE GLOVE DISPENSER AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
PRODUCTION.

 The invention relates mainly to a dispenser of disposable gloves and to its production method.

 It is customary to protect the hands against physical or chemical attack with disposable gloves after use, in particular gloves made of thin sheets of plastic. It is not easy to take only one or two gloves in a stack of such gloves normally stored in a box or bag without disturbing the entire stack.

 On the other hand, rectangular handkerchiefs made of cellulose wadding are usually sold in cardboard boxes forming a dispenser.

Each handkerchief is folded in half, the handkerchiefs being staggered so that, with the exception of the first and last handkerchief, each handkerchief encloses half of the two adjacent handkerchiefs.

 This arrangement is made possible by the rectangular and therefore symmetrical shape of the tissue in cellulose wadding. In addition, tissues made of cellulose wadding slip poorly on each other. Thus, a pull on the end of the first handkerchief protruding from the outlet opening of the dispenser causes the next handkerchief by friction, the end of which protrudes beyond the opening, which makes it possible to grasp it.

 Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a dispenser furnished with disposable gloves in thin sheets of plastic placed in staggered rows, functioning correctly. On the one hand, the gloves have an asymmetrical shape suitable for the hand, which reduces the contact surface between successive gloves that we would like to have staggered. On the other hand, the plastic sheets in which the gloves are made have a low coefficient of friction, so that the gloves slide easily on each other, the traction on the first glove does not cause the next glove through the outlet opening. Finally, folding the glove in half would be considered unsightly by the consumer.

 It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a dispenser which makes it possible to take disposable gloves one by one, in particular from thin sheets of plastic.

 It is also an object of the present invention to provide a dispenser of disposable gloves with a low cost price.

 It is, finally, an object of the present invention to provide a dispenser from which a disposable glove can be removed with one hand.

 The present invention mainly relates to a distributor of disposable gloves, in particular in thin plastic sheets comprising a cavity for receiving the gloves and an outlet opening for disposable gloves, characterized in that it comprises a stack of folded or rolled up gloves around a support, in particular around a bar or a plate.

 The invention also relates to a dispenser, characterized in that it comprises means for fixing the support bar of a stack of gloves on the walls of the cavity with locking in rotation of the bar.

 The invention also relates to a dispenser, characterized in that the support bar for a stack of gloves is semi-cylindrical and that it is held by its ends housed in semi-cylindrical reserves formed in the walls of the cavity.

 The invention also relates to a dispenser, characterized in that the glove receiving cavity has an elongated section so as to keep the gloves in place, over a large surface.

 The invention also relates to a dispenser, characterized in that it comprises a hooking means, in particular an opening or a hook, and in that the outlet opening of the disposable gloves is arranged substantially opposite the attachment means.

 The invention also relates to a dispenser, characterized in that the means for fixing the glove support bar are arranged near the outlet opening of the disposable gloves.

 The invention also relates to a dispenser, characterized in that the support is a substantially rectangular plate whose height is substantially equal to one third of the length of a glove.

The subject of the invention is also a method of manufacturing a dispenser for disposable gloves, characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in:
- cut a flat blank from a plastic sheet;
- thermoforming in the plastic blank two half-shells located symmetrically with respect to an axis S, providing assembly edges;
- Put in place in one of the half-shells a support bar furnished with a stack of disposable gloves, in particular in thin sheets of plastic material substantially surrounding the support bar;
- fold along the S axis the two half-shells with contacting their assembly edge;
- securing, in particular by heat sealing, the edges of half-shells to form a cavity containing the disposable gloves.

 The invention also relates to a manufacturing process, characterized in that, during the thermoforming step of the blank, semi-cylindrical reserves are produced on two opposite assembly edges of one of the half -shells and in that the support bar forms a half-cylinder whose length is substantially equal to the sum of the width of the disposable gloves and the sum of the lengths of said semi-cylindrical reserves, the ends of the support bar provided with the stack of disposable gloves being placed in the semi-cylindrical reserves.

The subject of the invention is also a method of manufacturing a dispenser for disposable gloves, characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in:
- cut a flat blank from a plastic sheet
- thermoforming in the plastic blank two half-shells located symmetrically with respect to an axis S by providing assembly edges
- fold a first glove around the glove or gloves folded around a rigid plate
- fold the following gloves around the glove (s) folded around the plate
The invention also relates to a method, characterized in that the glove folding operation comprises the steps consisting in:
- fold the thumb parallel to a first edge of the plate arranged in the extension of an outer edge of the index finger;
- fold the cuff along a second edge of the plate perpendicular to the first edge;
- fold the little finger along a third edge of the plate parallel to the edge
- fold the base of the fingers along a fourth edge of the plate parallel to the second edge.

 The invention also relates to a method, characterized in that the glove has a protuberance and a deposit of adhesive protected by a peelable protective film intended to receive said protuberance, in that the second edge of the plate is substantially located at the base of the protrusion, and in that, after folding the cuff along the second edge of the plate and prior to the folding of the little finger along the third edge of the plate, the protrusion is folded back along the first edge of the plate.

 The invention also relates to a manufacturing process, characterized in that, during the blank cutting step, a zone of lower resistance is produced in the plastic sheet forming the wall of the dispenser to allow the ablation of a part in the wall of the cavity and thus form an outlet opening of the disposable gloves.

 A subject of the invention is also a method, characterized in that, during the step of cutting the blank, an outlet opening of the disposable gloves is cut.

 In FIGS. 1 to 10, the same references have been used to designate the same elements.

 In Figure 1, we can see a first example of gloves 1, of known type, capable of being packaged in a dispenser according to the present invention. The glove 1 is constituted by two thin sheets 2 and 3 of plastic material heat-sealed at their periphery having substantially the shape of a human hand while providing an opening allowing the passage of a hand to allow the glove to be put on.

 In FIG. 2, we can see a planar blank 4 in which two half-shells 5 have been thermoformed, forming a cavity, located symmetrically with respect to an axis S. Each half-shell 5 advantageously has an elongated shape and is surrounded by assembly edges 6 also arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis S. On two opposite assembly edges of the upper half-shell, we have produced by thermoforming semi-cylindrical reserves 7 intended to receive the ends 8 of a semi-cylindrical bar 9 and to ensure its locking in rotation. Advantageously, the dispenser comprises a hooking means, for example a hook not shown. In an alternative embodiment, the assembly edges 6, capable of becoming the upper edge of the dispenser, have an opening 10 allowing the suspension on a hook 13, as illustrated in FIG. 3.

 In a first exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, an outlet opening for disposable gloves has been cut out from one of the half-shells 5. In this case, it is advantageous to cover the dispenser according to the present invention with a cover -packaging for linear display in a store, in order to guarantee to the customer that the disposable gloves have not been picked up by unauthorized persons.

 In a second exemplary embodiment, not illustrated, an area of lower resistance is provided in one of the half-shells 5 to allow the ablation of a part of the wall of the cavity to form an outlet opening for the gloves.

 Advantageously, the half-shells 5 comprise stiffening elements, for example grooves 12.

 In Figure 3, we can see a dispenser according to the present invention after filling with a stack of disposable gloves 1 folded or wrapped around the crossbar 9 whose ends 8 have been placed in the reserves 7. Advantageously, the length of the bar 9 is substantially equal to the sum of the width of the disposable gloves 1 and the sum of the lengths of the semi-cylindrical reserves 7. The blank 4 has been folded along the axis S with bringing the assembly edges into contact 6 and their connection, for example by heat sealing. There was thus obtained a disposable glove dispenser as illustrated. The opening 11 is located in the lower part of the dispenser substantially at the level of the bar 9. In the example illustrated, the opening 11 has an elongated shape with a main axis parallel to the bar 9. The gloves 1 are folded substantially at half their length around the bar 9. Thus, the middle part of the first glove is opposite the opening 11. The user can grasp the part accessible by the opening 11 of the first glove 1. When it exerts a traction, the first glove slides on the next glove, helped in this by a relatively small contact surface between gloves, and especially by a low coefficient of friction of thin sheets of plastic 2 and 3. The other gloves remain in place in the dispenser held facing the opening 11 by the bar 9 and by the large contact surface of the elongated internal walls of the cavity.

 In the preferred embodiment, the bar 9 is made of a rigid material, such as wood. However, it is understood that the use of a bar 9, made of other materials, for example in an elastic material allowing the bar 9 to act as a presser, does not depart from the scope of the present invention .

 In Figure 4, we can see a glove with a long cuff 14. In the example illustrated, the cuff 14 of the glove is provided with a protrusion 15 called the sixth finger and with a deposit of adhesive 16 protected by a peelable protective film. Once the glove has been put on, the wearer removes the protective film from the adhesive 16 and applies the sixth finger to it. The glove, thus tightened around the wearer's wrist, is held in place.

 For reasons of space and efficiency of extraction from a dispenser, it is advantageous to fold a glove with long cuffs in three.

 According to the invention, a plate 17, for example substantially rectangular, is placed in the part of the glove 1 corresponding to the palm of the hand. The plate 17 is made, for example, of cardboard or plastic.

 The first glove 1 (which will be extracted last from the dispenser) is folded around the plate 17 during the successive operations illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 9.

 In FIGS. 4 and 5, the thumb 18 is folded back parallel to a first edge 19 of the plate 17 arranged in the extension of the outer edge 20 of the index finger 21.

 In FIGS. 5 and 6, the cuff 14 is folded along a second edge 22 of the plate 17 perpendicular to the first edge 19, and situated substantially at the base of the sixth finger 15.

 In FIGS. 6 and 7, the sixth finger 15 is folded along the first edge 19 of the plate 17.

 In FIGS. 7 and 8, the little finger 23 is folded along the third edge 24 of the plate 17 parallel to the first edge 19.

 In FIGS. 8 and 9, the base of the fingers is folded along a fourth edge 25 of the plate 17 parallel to the second edge 22.

 The following gloves are similarly folded around the first folded glove illustrated in FIG. 9. The glove 1 of FIG. 9 is placed in the part of the second glove 1 corresponding to the palm of the hand, and the operations of the figures are repeated. 4 to 9 with the following gloves until a winding of the desired number of gloves is obtained, for example equal to 30. This complete winding is placed in a dispenser of FIG. 10.

Advantageously, the opening 11 is formed halfway up the front half-shell of the dispenser revealing the front face of a glove. The traction on this central part makes it possible to remove a glove from the dispenser without difficulty, without disturbing the winding of the remaining gloves. The removal operation can be repeated until the gloves in the dispenser have run out.

 Advantageously, the distributor cavity and the plate 17 have the same length / width ratio.

 It is understood that the present invention is not limited to disposable gloves, but can be applied to any flat product produced from sheets whose coefficient of friction is sufficiently low to allow the sheets to slide over each other. when extracting an element, in the form of sheets, from a dispenser.

Claims (14)

 1. Dispenser for disposable gloves (1), in particular in thin sheets (2,3) of plastic material comprising a cavity for receiving the gloves and an outlet opening (11) for disposable gloves, characterized in that it comprises a stack gloves folded or wrapped around a support, in particular around a bar (9) or a plate (17).  2. Dispenser according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises means for fixing the support bar (9) of a stack of gloves on the walls of the cavity with locking in rotation of the bar (9).  3. Dispenser according to claim 2, characterized in that the support bar (9) of a stack of gloves is semi-cylindrical and that it is held by its ends (8) housed in semi-cylindrical reserves (7) formed in the walls of the cavity.  4. Dispenser according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the glove receiving cavity has an elongated section so as to keep the gloves (1) in place, over a large surface.  5. Dispenser according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a hooking means, in particular an opening (10) or a hook, and in that the outlet opening (11) of the disposable gloves (1) is arranged substantially opposite the attachment means.  6. Dispenser according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the means for fixing the support bar (9) of the gloves are arranged near the outlet opening (11) of the disposable gloves (1 ).  7. Distributor according to claim 1, characterized in that the support is a plate (17) substantially rectangular whose height is substantially equal to one third of the length of a glove (1).  8. Method for manufacturing a disposable glove dispenser, characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in:  - cut a planar blank (4) from a plastic sheet;  - thermoforming in the plastic blank two half-shells (5) located symmetrically with respect to an axis S by providing assembly edges (6);  - Put in place in one of the half-shells (5) a support bar (9) furnished with a stack of disposable gloves, in particular in thin sheets (2,3) of plastic material substantially surrounding the support bar (9) ;  - fold along the S axis the two half-shells (5) with contacting their assembly edge (6);  - securing, in particular by heat sealing, the edges (6) of half-shells (5) to form a cavity containing the disposable gloves.  9. The manufacturing method according to claim 8, characterized in that, during the thermoforming step of the blank (4), semi-cylindrical reserves (7) are produced on two joining edges (6 ) opposite of one of the half-shells (5) and in that the support bar (9) forms a half-cylinder whose length is substantially equal to the sum of the width of the disposable gloves (i) and the sum of the lengths of said semi-cylindrical reserves (7), the ends (8) of the support bar provided with the stack of disposable gloves (1) being placed in the semi-cylindrical reserves (7).  10. Method for manufacturing a dispenser for disposable gloves, characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in:  - cut a flat blank (4) from a plastic sheet  - thermoforming in the plastic blank two half-shells located symmetrically with respect to an axis S by providing assembly edges (6);  - fold a first glove around the glove or gloves folded around a rigid plate (17);  - fold the following gloves around the glove or gloves folded around the plate (17).  11. Method according to claim 10, characterized in that the glove folding operation comprises the steps consisting in:  - fold the thumb (18) parallel to a first edge (19) of the plate (17) arranged in the extension of an outer edge (20) of the index finger (21);  - fold the cuff (14) along a second edge (22) of the plate (17) perpendicular to the first edge (19);  - fold the little finger (23) along a third edge (24) of the plate (17) parallel to the edge (19);  - fold the base of the fingers along a fourth edge (25) of the plate (17) parallel to the second edge (22).  12. Method according to claim 11, characterized in that the glove (1) comprises a protuberance (15) and a deposit (16) of adhesive protected by a peelable protective film intended to receive said protuberance (15) that the second edge (22) of the plate (17) is substantially located at the base of the protrusion (15), and in that, after the folding of the cuff (14) along the second edge (22) of the plate (17) and prior to the folding of the little finger (23) along the third edge (24) of the plate (17), the projection (15) is folded along the first edge (19) of the plate (17).  13. The manufacturing method according to claim 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12, characterized in that, during the step of cutting the blank, a zone of lower resistance is produced in the plastic sheet. forming the wall of the dispenser to allow the ablation of a part in the wall of the cavity and thus form an outlet opening of the disposable gloves (1).  14.
