Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile liegen insbesondere darin, daß auf einfache Weise mit der Vorrichtung in Sequenz im Quertransportbereich des Rollganges Walzgut mit hoher Genauigkeit positionierbar und achsial richtbar ist, wobei mittels der Walzgutauflagen des Quertransportmittels gleichzeitig, also ohne Beeintächtigung der Einstellung und des achsialen Richtvorganges, ein vorhergehend gerichtetes und bereitgestelltes Walzgut in die Ablagebereiche der Kühleinrichtungen oder von diesen in den Auflagebereich vom Kühlbett oder vom Rollgang direkt auf das Kühlbett verbracht werden kann. Dabei ist es wichtig, daß lediglich die Walzgutauflagen der zwischen den Rollen bewegbaren Tragarame des Quertransportmittels über das obere Niveau der Rollgangrollen bzw. deren Förderungsebene anhebbar sind. Bei dieser Ausbildungsform der Vorrichtung ist es möglich, mindestens zwei Härteeinrichtungen an einer Seite des Rollganges anzuordnen, so daß lediglich einseitig ein Kühlbett vorzusehen ist, was wirtschaftliche Vorteile erbringt. Ein am Rollgang positioniertes und achsfluchtend gerichtetes Walzgut kann mittels der Auflagen der Tragarme von diesem abgehoben und beispielsweise in einen Ablagebereich einer Flüssigkeits-Kühleinrichtung, die als Manipulator ausgebildet ist, abgelegt werden. Vorrichtung zum thermischen Vergüten von zumindest Teilen des Querschnittes über die Längserstreckung von in Sequenz gefertigtem profilierten Walzgut aus der Walzhitze, insbesondere zum Härten zumindest des Kopfes von Schienen mit einer Länge von'größer als 50 m, und nachfolgender Abkühlung auf Raumtemperatur, bestehend im wesentlichen aus einem Rollgang, einem Mittel zur achsfluchtenden Ausrichtung des Walzgutes, einem Transportmittel mit einer Auflage für das Walzgut zur Querverbringung desselben, einer Härteeinrichtung mit einer Manipulatoranordnung und einem Kühlbett, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Rollgang (1) eine Einrichtung zur Positionierung des in mindestens einem Querschnittsbereich aufliegend zugeförderten Walzgutes (S) in Längsrichtung und ein zugeordnetes Ausrichtmittel (2) aufweist, daß die Härteeinrichtung (3) aus mindestens zwei nebeneinander mit in deren Längsrichtung im wesentlichen parallel zum Ausrichtmittel angeordneten Flussigkeitskuhleinrichtungen ( 31 ,32) mit Manipulatoren (311 ,321) für eine Bewegung des Walzgutes (S) gebildet ist, daß neben den und parallel zur Längserstreckung der Flussigkuhleinrichtungen sich der Auflegebereich (41) vom Kühlbett (4) befindet und daß das Quertransportmittel (5) mindestens zwei simultan zwischen den Rollgangrollen bewegbare Tragarme (51) mit jeweils endenseitig daran angeordneten Walzgutauflagen (52) besitzt, diese Auflagen an den Tragarmen in Querrichtung von der Richtposition im Bereich des Rollganges (1) bis in den Auflegebereich (41) des Kühlbettes (4) verfahrbar und derart anhebbar sind, daß ausschließlich die Auflagen die Förderebene (11) des Rollganges (1) überragen.1.
