Um das Leimwerk auf diese Betriebsart vorzubereiten, wird der Leimtank 1 demontiert und eine Leimdüse 5 auf nicht gezeigte Weise an der Tragplatte befestigt. Zum Betrieb des offenen Leimwerks behalten die Leimauftragswalze 3 und die Klischeewalze 4 ihren Drehsinn bei. Der Drehsinn der Dosierwalze ist im Vergleich zur geschlossenen Betriebsweise umgekehrt. Der Leim wird über eine Zuführleitung 6 der Leimdüse 5 zugeführt, die am oberen Ende der Dosierwalze 2 angeordnet ist. Die Leimdüse 5 trägt den Leim auf die Dosierwalze auf. Der Leim wird auf die Leimauftragswalze 3 übertragen und gelangt anschließend auf die Klischeewalze, die den Leim an das zu beleimende Werkstück abgibt. Unterhalb der Dosierwalze 2 und der Klischeewalze 3 ist eine Leimwanne 7 angeordnet, die den von den Walzen abgetropften und abgeschleuderten Leim auffängt und über einen Abfluss 8 abführt. Fig. 3 zeigt ein geschlossenes Leimwerk gemäß Schnitt III - III in Fig. 1. Die Walzen 2, 3, sind mit ihren Walzenachsen 13 einendig und drehbar in der Tragplatte 10 gelagert. Die Tragplatte ist auf nicht näher dargestellte Weise mit dem Maschinengestell verbunden. Die Walzenachsen 13 können durch aufgesetzte Antriebe, etwa Zahnriemenscheiben, auf denen ein Zahnriemen läuft, angetrieben werden. An dem Leimtank sind zwei Bolzen 11 fest angebracht, die durch zwei Durchgangsbohrungen in der Tragplatte 10 gesteckt werden können. Oberhalb der Tragplatte sind die Bolzen, die zumindest an ihrem oberen Ende Gewinde aufweisen, mit Muttern 12, beispielsweise Rändelmuttern, gesichert. Auf diese Weise kann der Leimtank 1 auf einfache Weise an der Tragplatte 10 befestigt werden oder von dieser entfernt werden. Claims (5)

  1. Paste unit for a bottom guide device for star seal bottom bags, which are formed from tube sections, for gluing of bottom warps or star seal bottom bags, comprising the following characteristics:
    • a glue reservoir (1), or a glue source (5)
    • a metering roller (2), which is in contact with the glue source, or the glue reservoir (1)
    • a glue application roller (3) which may be in contact with the glue reservoir (1) or with the glue source (5)
    • a making roller (4) which is in contact with the glue application roller (3) and which transfers glue (9) from this roller to the bottom warps, or star seal bottoms,
    • whereby drive means are assigned to the above mentioned
    characterised in that
    the metering roller (2) and/or the glue application roller (3) can sequentially be connected to the glue source (5) as well as to the glue reservoir (1).
  2. Paste unit according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the direction of rotation (C) of the metering roller (2) can be reversed.
  3. Paste unit according to claim 2,
    characterised in that
    at least one of the previously mentioned rollers (1, 2, 3) has its own drive motor
  4. Paste unit according to claim 3,
    characterised in that
    at least one of the previously mentioned rollers (1, 2, 3) has its own drive motor, which is supplied with current by means of a power electronic power source - such as a frequency converter.
