Claims (8)

  1. An undergarment hanger, in particular for accommodating panties, briefs and the like, having
    - a hanger (1), which consists of two hanger halves (1a and 1b),
    - a suspension device arranged in the middle of the hanger (1), which preferably takes the form of a carrying hook (2), and
    - clips (3,3',3") moulded onto the outer ends of the two hanger halves (1a and 1b), which clips are in each case composed of an abutment member (4) and a resilient tongue (5), which is connected resiliently via an arcuate connecting member (6) to the abutment member (4),
    the space between abutment member (4) and resilient tongue (5) being defined by an upper limit stop and that portion of the space between abutment member (4) and resilient tongue (5) which adjoins the upper limit stop taking the form of a narrow slit (10,10'), characterised in that
    • the connecting member (6) takes the form of 3/4 of a ring,
    • the slit (10) is defined by at least one inner guide web (8,8') projecting into the space in the interior of the connecting member (6) and
    • the slit (10) is additionally defined by a resilient finger (9) moulded onto the inside of the connecting member (6) and facing the guide web (8,8').
  2. An undergarment hanger according to claim 1, characterised in that the upper limit stop is formed by the top of the inside of the connecting member (6).
  3. An undergarment hanger according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the slit (10,10') is less than 1 mm wide.
  4. An undergarment hanger according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the curved connecting member (6) is stiffened in one portion by an outer web wall (11) and the guide web (8,8'") is moulded on to the inside of the connecting member (6) in the area of this web wall (11).
  5. An undergarment hanger according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the hanger (1) is of substantially I-shaped cross-section and comprises a web wall (11) which also stiffens the abutment member (4) and a portion of the curved connecting member (6).
  6. An undergarment hanger according to claim 5, characterised in that the connecting member (6) is more than 50%, preferably 100%, thicker than the thickness of the bottom flange (13) or top flange (12) of the hanger (1) and is free over an angular area of at least 90° and has a diameter of curvature of at least 6 mm.
  7. An undergarment hanger according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the edge of the guide web (8) extends in wavy manner.
  8. An undergarment hanger according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the non-stiffened portion of the arcuate connecting member (6) is free of moulded-on parts on its inside.
