Abstract

Wiping material dispenser apparatus includes a basic housing that receives an articulated cover and a cartridge including two transverse flanges. An upper part of the flanges receives a roll of material and a lower part thereof receives a first blade-holder drum and a second return drum, the drums receiving crown wheels for the connection thereof. The return drum receives a third crown wheel that co-operates with the drum rotation actuation mechanism which includes a fixed cam. The blade-holder arm is provided with transmission means that involve the use of a mobile cam which actuates the cutting blade. The fixed and mobile cams co-operate with one another, defining the trajectory of the cutting blade.

Les deux cartouches sont identiques à l'exclusion de l'une des couronnes dentées, à savoir la quatrième qui définit le nombre de dents en rapport avec le format du papier. Claims (19)

  1. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting comprising a base housing (2) with a back face (2.1) and a lower face (2.2) and accommodating an articulated cover (3), the housing accommodating a dismountably fitted snap-in cartridge (c) defining a load-bearing structure comprising two transverse side pieces (4, 5), a connecting link (6) between said side pieces and a front spacer bar (43), the side pieces (4, 5) receiving two drums (9, 10) located side-by-side but not in direct contact with each other, the first drum (9) supporting a cutting blade (13), the second drum (10) being the deflection drum, said drums (9, 10) receiving, at one of their ends facing them, cog-wheels (11, 12) making it possible to link them and rotate the drums relative to each other, said dispensing machine comprising a mechanism to start rotation of the drums (9, 10) and being characterised in that the upper part of side pieces (4, 5) receives end fittings (8) that support the reel (b) of material and their lower part receives the two drums (9, 10),
    in that drum (10) receives a third cog-wheel (19) cooperating with the mechanism to start rotation of drums (9, 10), said mechanism including a fixed cam (24),
    and in that blade-holder arm (14) is designed with transmission means (18) making it possible to initiate operation of a moving cam (27) making it possible to eject cutting blade (13) from said drum (9),
    and in that fixed cam (24) and moving cam (27) cooperate with each other to define the trajectory of the cutting blade,
    and in that flaps (31, 32) guide the strip of material in the machine in order to obtain subsequent cutting of the latter to a predetermined size.
  2. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that drum (9) located at the rear of the machine is internally hollow and accommodates a cutting blade (13) made of two parts (13.1-13.2) attached to blade-holder arm (14),
    and in that said blade parts join together towards the central part of drum (9.1) leaving a gap (e) in order to position a support cradle (15) for the blade-holder arm,
    and in that said blade parts have a twisted profile.
  3. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that blade-holder arm (14) has, at one end (14.1), a limit stop (16) which is in contact with travel-limiting support surfaces (17) formed on the transverse face (9.2) of the drum,
    and in that the other end of said arm has a toothed ring (18) adjacent to first cog-wheel (11).
  4. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the middle part of second deflection drum (10) has a radial cavity (10.1) allowing snap-in fixing of a flap (31) mounted so that it can move around said cavity and making it possible to overlap at least drum (9).
  5. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 4, characterised in that flap (31) has a separately mounted tab (30) shaped like a fork capable of snapping into the radial cavity (10.1) of the drum, the flap internally having protruding ribs (31.1) that ensure guidance of the strip of material relative to drum (9).
  6. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that drum (10) has a shaft (10.1), the end of which is engaged in an opening formed in opposite-facing side piece (4), said shaft receiving a third small-diameter cog-wheel (19) capable of cooperating with a fourth cog-wheel (20) that is part of the mechanism for starting movement of drum (9) in order to dispense strips of material.
  7. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 5, characterised in that the fourth cog-wheel (20) has a number of teeth, depending on a predetermined diameter, corresponding to a specific sized piece of strip of material to be cut, said fourth cog-wheel receiving, on one of its faces, a fixed cam (24) and, on its other face and allowing fixing of a connecting rod (42) associated with a return spring (26) and fulfilling a cam function during rotation of cog-wheel (20) in opposition to said return spring (26).
  8. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that shaft (9.1) of drum (9) extends to receive a moving cam (27) that is articulated on the shaft, said cam being shaped to cooperate with fixed cam (24) on cog-wheel (20) during certain operating phases,
    and in that a matching pinion (36) is located on moving cam (27) in order to cooperate with pinion (18) mounted on blade-holder arm (14) in order to ensure movement and ejection of the cutting blade.
  9. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that a lower flap (32) is articulatedly mounted on the front spacer bar (43), said flap opening from the front and making it possible to insert and guide the loose end of the strip of material originating from the reel.
  10. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the drum has, on the end of its shaft opposite cog-wheels (12-19), a bearing surface (9.5) which fixedly receives a large-diameter load thumbwheel (33) which protrudes externally from the cartridge and the machine in order to allow the machine to be loaded or to allow troubleshooting.
  11. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the front space bar (43) receives a guide (38) that ensures upward return of the strip of material between drums (9-10), said strip of material emerging from the rear of the machine and being guided by articulated flap (31).
  12. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the moving cam has a semicircular rear part (27.a) that extends as a first straight slope (27.b), a second straight slope (27.c), a beak shape (27.d) and a connecting line (27.e) to the rear part of the cam,
    and in that the fixed cam has a kidney shape of smaller size with a straight base (24.1), both the cams cooperating during ejection of the cutting blade to define the blade trajectory.
  13. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the front spacer bar is designed with two rubber limit stops (41) defining a counterbrace and allowing support of the teeth (13.1) of blade (13) that have been moved closer together in order to ensure backward swivelling of the blade holder around its own axis and its retraction into the drum.
  14. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that drum (10) receives a predetermined cog-wheel (12) with a number of teeth equivalent to a particular sized piece,
    and in that changing the size of the piece of material dispensed involves replacing cog-wheel (12) by another cog-wheel having a different number of teeth.
  15. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that drum (10) is designed to accommodate a moving shaft (10.1) which receives, firstly, the third cog-wheel (19) and secondly, a sliding gear (45),
    and in that cog-wheel (20) is associated with a fifth cog-wheel (21) that has a different number of teeth,
    and in that the positioning of shaft (10.1) relative to drum (10) defines the different meshing between cog-wheels (19-20) on the one hand and sliding gear (45) and cog-wheel (21) on the other hand,
    and in that shaft (10.1) receives an index making it possible to move said shaft.
  16. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in claim 15, characterised in that cog-wheel (21) receives fixed cam (24).
  17. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in any of claims 1 to 15, characterised in that a non-return hook (22) fixed on side piece (4) cooperates either with cog-wheel (20) or with cog-wheel (21), depending which size setting for pieces of material has been selected.
  18. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in any of claims 1 to 15, characterised in that drums (9-10) have, close to their cog-wheels (10-11), openings (47) allowing insertion of a U-shaped component (29) constituting a template and allowing adjustment of said cog-wheels relative to each other, depending on the size of piece of strip of material to be dispensed, said template having a pin (29.1) that engages in the central axial opening (20.4) of cog-wheel (20) and an index (29.2) that engages in the openings (20.5) formed on cog-wheel (20).
  19. Dispensing machine for wipe material with automatic cutting as claimed in any of claims 1 to 18, characterised in that the reel of material is placed on the receiving end fittings in any manner whatsoever with the hanging end of the material located either towards the front of the machine or towards the rear of the machine, said end being pulled so that it can be threaded between drum (10) and flap (32) arid then be routed between drums (9-10) before being removed by drum (9) towards the rear of the machine.
