Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an installation for the automatic deconditioning of individual large flexible containers filled with materials, a method of deconditioning contents, and a use of the installation.
Large flexible containers, better known as big bags or bags with a weight of about 500 kg when filled, were originally created to allow farmers to handle, simply, easily and in one operation , using a tractor equipped with a fork, sandstone large quantities of manure.
In just a few years, the use of these big bags has spread more widely to different technical fields.
These big bags were particularly adapted to their other uses with the variation of their capacity (from 0.5 to 15 m 3 ), of their basic geometrical shape (circular, square), the possible presence of means of grip (handles) , the chemical nature of the constituent material (polypropylene) may be more or less permeable to liquids and / or gas that these bags contain.
Also, large bags are commonly used in many branches of economic activity, and can include compounds of physicochemical nature extremely varied.
These compounds may be in a pulverulent, pasty or monolithic form. These different physical states have significant variations in shear strength used to tear them, for their emptying.
The compounds contained in the large bags may also have a very varied chemical compositions, and toxicities for humans, and / or the animal and / or the natural environment higher or lower.
The installations known hitherto for unpacking the big bags consist simply in pouring the contents of these bags into a hopper at the bottom of which is disposed a distributor. The latter is overhung by a sharp means intended to disembowel the big bags, which is constituted for example by a fixed steel blade, beveled shape which flares downward.
No. 4,034,877 describes an installation in which the bags are torn in the inverted position to be emptied (see FIGS. 2, 9 and 12).
The patent document EP 0 733 552 A1 describes an installation in which the full bags are held in the inverted position by a punch of small section to be emptied (see Figure 8).
International patent application WO 92/21566 describes an installation in which bags deposited on a conveyor belt are cut at their base in order to be subsequently emptied.
Other known installations (DE 4419599 C1) for emptying large bags consist in keeping the bag stationary, suspended, then slicing it in its lower part, and then collecting its contents through a recovery container.
Another apparatus for transferring the contents of the big bags as described in US Pat. No. 5,507,602 consists in horizontally arranging a flexible, elastic membrane through which the powdery contents of the big bags flow.
Unfortunately, such devices do not allow the correct evacuation of monolithic or pasty contents, nor satisfactory sanitary protection against the toxicity of pulverulent materials present in the working environment of the material handling personnel.
Also, there remains a need to have a facility for automatically deconditioning, chain, and individually large containers (or bags) flexible, filled with materials, regardless of their volume, weight or physical constitution, the physico-chemical nature of the material they contain, while having a high and variable deconditioning hourly rate, being able to adapt very easily to the nature of the bag and / or its contents, and this while preserving the physical qualities -chemical contents of the bags, and ensuring the safety and hygiene of handling personnel with a very low financial cost.
The object of the invention is therefore, according to a first of its aspects, an installation intended to automatically and individually decondition large flexible containers filled with materials, and comprising a conveyor belt, means for emptying the containers and sorting means, this characterized in that the emptying means of the containers are constituted by a mill disposed in the hopper and grinding the full containers with their contents, and in that the sorting means are constituted by a disk sorter disposed horizontally below the hopper. mill and separating from their contents the containers reduced to shreds by the mill.
Instead of resorting to complex operations, the installation empties the containers by proceeding to their grinding at the same time as that of their contents, and takes advantage of the difference in behavior, in a disk sorter, the shreds of containers and crushed materials, to operate in a single step the separation of these flaps and these materials.
The installation of the invention thus has the advantage of being able to adapt very easily, on the one hand, to the deconditioning speed of the flexible containers, depending on the consumption or the subsequent reprocessing of their contents, for example in a attached processing facility and secondly, changes in the physical state of their contents within the same container. The installation also makes it possible to process, easily, successively, quickly and without any modification of its means constituting it, flexible containers containing pulverulent materials and then flexible containers containing more or less partially solidified materials, or vice versa, and this without deteriorate the cutting tool or without creating dust or splash in large quantities and / or harmful to the near working environment.
Finally, unlike the devices known hitherto, such a deconditioning installation allows the storage, at lower cost, of the content already extracted from the flexible containers before their subsequent processing, and this without any problem for the immediate environment, nor degradation of the content in contact with oxygen in the air, solar heat, moisture (eg for plaster), or carbon dioxide (eg for lime).
- arranging the containers successively on a conveyor belt,
- conveying said containers to a hopper, and
- to empty the containers of the materials they contain,
Finally, a last object of the invention is a use of the installation as defined above to decondition large flexible containers, filled with powdery materials or not.
Preferably, the entire process is carried out under a depression of between about 5 mm and 10 mm of water column, this depression may be constant during the deconditioning period.
The mill may comprise a rotor having a rotation speed of between about 60 and 120 rpm.
The deconditioning time of the flexible containers can vary from about 1.5 minutes to about 3 minutes.
The invention will now be described with the aid of the single appended figure which in no way limits the object of the invention.
This figure is a schematic representation, in section, of the installation according to the invention.
The
The hopper 6 comprises in its middle part a mill 7 consisting of at least one cutting rotor having a rotation speed ranging from 60 to 120 revolutions / min.
When it is brought into contact with the bottom of each container, the rotor rips and grinds them individually and successively due to its rotation, so as to turn them into shreds.
Le contenu de chaque conteneur s'écoule alors par gravité sur un trieur 8 à disques, disposé horizontalement, et juste au-dessous du broyeur 7.The contents of each container then flows by gravity onto a horizontally disposed disk sorter 8 and just below the grinder 7.
La forme géométrique des disques constituant le trieur 8 peut être adaptée au contenu des conteneurs 3a, 3b, 3c.Depending on its physical nature (monolithic, powdery or pasty with a concentration of free water of less than 30%) the contents of each container flows continuously (powdery state) or discontinuous (monolithic) to sorter 8. The shape geometric disks constituting the sorter 8 can be adapted to the contents of the
The sorter 8 makes it possible to direct, on the one hand, to a
