First up Fig. 1 to 6 With reference to a first embodiment of the invention. Fig. 3 shows a plan view of a flat sheet metal stamped part 2, which serves for the production of a bus bar 4 of a generally designated 6 terminal. As Fig. 1 and 2 For this purpose, an intermediate region 8 of the stamped sheet metal part 2 is bent approximately S-shaped, so that originally in the sheet plane (plane) lying terminal lugs 10 are perpendicular to their original position and perpendicular to the plane of extension of the busbar now formed 4.

The sheet-metal stamped part 2 or the busbar 4 produced therefrom then have a central section 12 adjoining the intermediate region 8, to which a base section 14 and, on the other hand, two finger-like, resilient sections connect, namely a latching section 16 and a locking section 18.

All mentioned areas of the busbar or the sheet metal stamping part 2 are made as mentioned by punching from a flat sheet metal material.

Klemmschrauben 24 dienen einer klemmenden Halterung eines eingeschobenen Leiters (nicht dargestellt) zwischen einer Bodenwand 26 eines Schraubklemmelements 22 und einer Anschlußlasche 10. 4 to 6 illustrate the inventive terminal 6 of the first embodiment, in which case the means for contacting the conductors to be connected are formed by Schraubklemmelemente 22 which are pushed onto the terminal lugs 10. Clamping screws 24 are used for a clamping support of an inserted conductor (not shown) between a bottom wall 26 of a Schraubklemmelements 22 and a connecting lug 10th

In particular Fig. 6 shows, the width b of the terminal 6, that is, the dimension in a direction of arrangement 30, due to the chosen construction is relatively low and in this example is only about four times the plate thickness d of the sheet material used to produce the busbar 4.

4 and 5 show how the terminal 6 is held on a profiled protective conductor rail 32. The protective conductor rail 32 has a cup-shaped or substantially U-shaped, provided with angled, flange-like edge portions 34 cross-sectional profile and agrees with its longitudinal direction with the aforementioned arrangement direction 30 or sets them.

The base portion 14 of the busbar 4 is located with two contact projections 20 (FIG. Fig. 1 ) each against one of the edge portions 34 at. The locking portion 18 has two parallel webs 36 which are connected at one end to the central portion 12 and the other end carry a locking end 38 which engages behind one of the edge portions 34 and on which a abutment projection 40 is formed, which bears laterally against the edge portion 34 and thereby determines the position of the terminal 6 transversely to the mounting direction 30. Characterized in that the locking end 38 is connected via two relatively narrow webs 36 with the central portion 12, there is a certain compliance or spring elasticity between the locking end 38 and the central portion 12, which set or pretend by length and width of the webs 36 leaves. A contact projection 42 is formed on the locking end 38 to increase the surface pressure on the protective conductor rail 32 and to make good contact.

The locking portion 16 has, in contrast to the locking portion 18 only a web 44, so that a free end portion 46 of the locking portion 16 is more resilient than the locking end 38 of the locking portion 18. As in particular Fig. 3 shows, the latching portion 16 at its free end portion 46 on a latching projection 48 which engages behind the other edge portion 34 of the protective conductor rail 32. Thus, the largest possible contact force against the contact projection of the base portion 14 is achieved in this area, the locking projection 48 has a sloping locking surface 50 which rests in the locked state against the edge portion 34 and in cooperation with the spring force due to the formation of the Resting portion 16 is achieved, causes an increased pressing of the edge portion against the contact projection. The inclination of the oblique locking surface 50 is in Fig. 3 indicated by a dashed line 52.

A detecting portion 54 at the extreme end of the free end portion 46 of the locking portion 16 allows the attachment of a release tool, such as a screwdriver to elastically move the locking portion 16 in the release direction 56, so that the locking projection 48 is released from the edge portion 34 and the terminal 6 of the protective conductor rail 32 can be removed. A Aufsetzschräge 58 allows a simple and tool-free placement or snapping the terminal 6 to the protective conductor rail 32. For this purpose, the terminal 6 is first placed on the side of the locking portion 18 on one of the edge portions 34, wherein the locking portion 18 engages with its locking end 38 of the edge portion and with the investment projection 40 is brought against this to the plant. Thereafter, the terminal 6 is pivoted about the abutment region (abutment projection 40 or contact projection 42) until the abutment slope 58 comes into contact with the opposite edge section 34, and further, wherein the latching section 16 is elastically opened until the latching section 16 with the latching projection 48th springs back and with the locking surface 50, the edge portion 34 engages behind. In this state, the terminal 6 is securely held on the protective conductor rail 32 until it is released by bending back the locking portion 16.

The locking portion 18 and in particular its contact projection 42 is formed so that its distance perpendicular to a contact projections 20 of the Sokkelabschnitts 14 connecting line in the unloaded state is less than the thickness dimension of the edge portion 34 so that in the latched state, the locking portion 18 resiliently biased is and generates a desired contact force. The same applies to the inclined locking surface 50 of the locking portion 16, so that here in the latched state, the latching portion 16 is resiliently biased and generates a contact force due to the inclination of the locking surface 50.

FIGS. 7 and 8 show an alternative embodiment of a terminal according to the invention, which is designated as a whole by 106 and is provided with a flat bus bar 104 and two spring clamping elements 110. The spring clamping elements 110 each have a spring leg 180 and a contact leg 182 and are conductively connected to the bus bar 104. The contact legs 182 are connected by means of rivet projections 184, which are formed on the busbar 104, conductively connected thereto.

As in the first embodiment, the terminal 106 has a locking portion 116 and a locking portion 118, which are formed similarly as in the first embodiment and, correspondingly, the protective conductor rail 32, which in Fig. 8 is shown, resiliently engage behind.

FIGS. 9 and 10 illustrate a further embodiment of a terminal 206 according to the invention, in which spring clamping elements 210 are also provided. In contrast to the busbar 104 of the second embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8 is the busbar 204 of the third embodiment is not completely flat, but has two perpendicular to an extension plane of the busbar (representation level in Fig. 10 ) angled portions 270, are formed by the contact surfaces 271, which serve to make contact between an inserted between these and spring legs 280 of the spring clamping element 210 conductor. The contact leg 182 of the second embodiment is thus replaced by the angled portions 270 here.

A stop 290 having a curved abutment surface 291 is integrally formed together with the bus bar 204, which results in an increase in the spring constant of the spring clip element 210, since the spring leg 280 increasingly engages the abutment surface 291 as the deflection increases in the direction of the abutment 290 that a shortening of the effective length of the leg and thus a stronger spring action results.
