Description

The invention relates to an armored vehicle, in particular a main battle tank, with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Ein derartiges Fahrzeug ist in US 4 398 446 A beschrieben.Such a vehicle is in US 4,398,446 A. described.

Armored vehicles are very often exposed to the action of mines in use. When such a vehicle runs on a mine which detonates, an extremely strong impulse is exerted on the floor pan of the vehicle trough, which not only leads to a short-term very strong bulging of the floor panel inwards, but in which also the impulse transmission can lead to Parts arranged in front of the bottom plate are also present bend inwards and possibly tear off and fly through the vehicle. This puts the crew at maximum risk. In a mine protection device with arranged on the outside of the bottom plate reinforcement plates of the connection of these reinforcing plates with the bottom plate of increased importance. The bottom plate of the vehicle trough generally has transversely extending troughs, and the invention has for its object to use these troughs with for fastening the reinforcing plates to the bottom plate.

The solution of this object is achieved according to the invention with the features of the characterizing part of patent claim. 1

Advantageous developments of the vehicle according to the invention are described below and in the dependent claims.

A basic idea of the invention is to use fastening threads in the installation space of the trough beads, into which fastening screws can be screwed in, by means of which the respective reinforcing plate is screwed from below or else from the vehicle interior to the base plate.

As explained in greater detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments, this makes it possible to achieve a fastening of the reinforcing plates to the base plate which is very resistant to mine detonations.

The invention is except for main battle tanks also advantageously used in support vehicles, armored recovery vehicles, Pioneer tanks and fast armored bridges.

In the following, embodiments for an armored vehicle according to the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Fig. 1 shows a perspective schematic representation of the supported by a chain chassis KF vehicle pan FW a battle tank with the tower removed. The vehicle pan FW is provided with a mine protection device by the bottom plate 1 is reinforced on its outer side, ie the underside of the vehicle pan FW, by a plurality, in each case over the full width and part of the length of the vehicle trough extending reinforcing plates, which fixed to the bottom plate 1 are connected. In the Fig. 2 to 4 one of these reinforcing plates 3 is shown, and its attachment to the bottom plate 1 will be explained below.

Fig. 2 shows a part of the bottom plate 1 in the region of the ends of the guided through the interior of the vehicle pan FW torsion bars 9.1 and 9.2 of the chassis KF. The torsion springs 9.1 and 9.2 are surrounded on a part of their length by hold-downs 9.3, which are firmly connected to the bottom plate 1 of the vehicle pan. The bottom plate 1 of the vehicle pan FW has transversely extending beads 1.1, which are used for fastening the reinforcing plate 3 to the bottom plate 1. Like that Fig. 2 to 4 can be seen, the tubing bead 1.1 is closed on its outer side down by a closure piece 2. This closure piece 2 is welded in its edge regions by welds 7.3 and 7.4 with the bottom plate and in the resulting space between the closure piece and tub bead space a fastening thread is integrated by, as Fig. 3 can be seen, inserted into an opening of the closure piece 2, a fastening sleeve 4 and a weld 7.2 is firmly connected to the closure piece 2. This mounting sleeve 4 is provided with a first bore 4.1, which opens down to the outside and in which the fastening thread is cut. In the arranged below the bottom plate reinforcing plate 3, a continuous anchoring sleeve 5 is inserted and fixedly connected to it via a weld 7.1. In the opening of this anchoring sleeve 5, the fastening screw 6 is inserted such that the screw head bears against an inner shoulder of the anchoring sleeve and is held there. The bolt of the fastening screw 6 is screwed into the fastening thread of the sleeve 4, so that the reinforcing plate 3 is firmly connected to the base plate 1 at this point.

At the in Fig. 3 illustrated embodiment of the attachment, the mounting sleeve 4 is passed through an opening in the tubing bead 1.1 and welded at this point by a weld 7.5 with the well bead. Furthermore, the mounting sleeve 4 has an aligned with the bore 4.1 threaded bore 4.2, which opens to the inside of the bottom plate 1 and in which one, in Fig. 3 not shown screw plug is screwed.

As in Fig. 3 ' illustrated, the lower opening of the mounting sleeve 4 can be closed with removed reinforcing plate 3 by a screw 6 'is screwed, which carries a cap 6.1, which bears with its edge 6.2 sealingly against the underside of the closure piece 2.

Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of the attachment of the reinforcing plate 3 to the bottom plate 1. It has been found that in certain types of landmines, which have a very narrow range of action, the forces occurring in the detonation are so large that welds alone are not always sufficient to prevent tearing of the fasteners. At the in Fig. 4 illustrated embodiment of the attachment of the reinforcing plate 3 to the bottom plate 1 so special precautions are taken to increase the strength of the connection. In Fig. 4 are all with Fig. 3 matching components provided with the same reference numeral. The difference from the embodiment according to Fig. 3 especially concerns the formation of the fastening sleeve 4 '. Although this is still connected to the closure piece 2 through the weld 7.2, but is not welded at its upper end with the bead 1.1. The mounting sleeve 4 'is passed through the opening 1.2 of the bead 1.1, in such a way that it is flush with its inner end 4.4' to the inside of the bottom plate 1 on the comb the trough bead is 1.1. On the inside of the tubing bead 1.1 is the mounting sleeve 4 'with a shoulder 4.5' at. In the threaded hole 4.2 'of the mounting sleeve 4' is the screw plug 8 with the interposition of a disc 9 as a pressure absorber now screwed in such that, as from Fig. 4 read, the mounting sleeve 4 'is firmly bolted to the bottom plate 1 in the region of the tubing bead 1.1. The closure screw 8 may have a trapezoidal thread and it has been shown that then the resistance of this screw connection in the case of a mine detonation is greater than that of a welded joint. The inner space 4.3 'of the fastening sleeve 4' in the area between the two bores 4.1 'and 4.2' has an extension in the radial direction and the diameter of the threaded bore 4.2 'which opens towards the inside of the base plate 1 is smaller than the diameter of the fastening thread bearing Bore 4.1 '.

The fastening screw 6 may have a round thread, which ensures a particularly resistant seat of the screw.

The lengths of the screw plug 8 and the fastening screw 6 are dimensioned so that, as from Fig. 4 to recognize that screwed into the threaded hole 4.2 'screw plug 8 does not touch the inner end of the mounting screw 6. With removed reinforcing plate 3, the screw plug 8 serves to close the opening in the bottom plate 1, and as shown 4 ' can be seen in this embodiment, the mounting sleeve 4 'on its underside by means of a screw 6' are closed, which carries a protective cap 6.1, which bears with its edge 6.2 sealingly against the underside of the closure piece 2.
