Claims (22)
- Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Hohlprofils mit einem über dessen Länge variierenden Querschnitt, umfassend folgende Verfahrensschritte:Umformen eines ersten Metallbandes (1) mit einer über dessen Länge variierenden Breite zu einem offenen Profil (7) mittels Rollformwerkzeugen (9);Auflegen eines zweiten Metallbandes (2) auf die die offene Seite begrenzenden Kanten (15) des offenen Profils (7);Verschweißen des zweiten Metallbandes (2) mit dem offenen Profil (7) zu einem Hohlprofil (11).
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verfahrensschritte in einem kontinuierlichen Prozess in Linie hintereinander durchgeführt werden. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verschweißen mittels Laserstrahlung erfolgt. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Laserstrahlung im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des offenen Profils (7) auf die Kontaktbereiche zwischen dem offenen Profil (7) und dem zweiten Metallband (2) gerichtet wird. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Metallband (2) mittels einer Führungsrolleneinrichtung auf das offene Profil (7) aufgelegt wird. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des Profils (7) verstellbare Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) verwendet wird. - Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 5 und 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine federbelastete Führungsrolleneinrichtung (18) verwendet wird, welche die Verstellung der Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) steuert. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweißleistung in Abhängigkeit von der Relativgeschwindigkeit zwischen den zu verschweißenden Kanten und der Schweißvorrichtung geregelt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweißleistung über die Rotationsgeschwindigkeit einer auf dem aufgelegten zweiten Metallband (2) abrollenden Rolle (20) geregelt wird. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass für das erste und das zweite Metallband unterschiedliche Materialien verwendet werden. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Metallband vor dem Auflegen auf das offene Profil mit Stanzungen und/oder Aufbiegungen versehen wird. - Vorrichtung zum Herstellen eines Hohlprofils mit einem über dessen Länge variierenden Querschnitt, umfassend:eine Umformanlage (5) mit einer Mehrzahl von angetriebenen oder freilaufenden Rollformwerkzeugen (9) zum Umformen eines ersten Metallbandes (1) in ein offenes Profil (7),sowie eine Schweißstation (8) mit Führungselementen (17, 18) zum Zusammenführen des offenen Profils (7) mit einem zweiten Metallband (2) und mit einer Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) zum Verschweißen des zweiten Metallbandes (2) mit dem offenen Profil (7) zu einem Hohlprofil (11),wobei die Umformanlage (5) so ausgebildet ist, dass sie zum Umformen eines ersten Metallbandes (1) mit einer über dessen Länge variierenden Breite geeignet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 12,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweißvorrichtung eine Laser-Schweißanlage ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Laserstrahlung im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des offenen Profils (7) auf die Kontaktbereiche zwischen dem offenen Profil (7) und dem zweiten Metallband (2) gerichtet ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 12 bis 14,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Schweißstation eine Abtasteinrichtung (18, 20) zur Erkennung der aktuellen Lage mindestens einer der Kontaktstellen zwischen dem offenen Profil (7) und dem zweiten Metallband (2) vorhanden ist, und dass die Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) hinsichtlich ihres Wirkungsortes lageveränderlich ausgebildet ist, wobei die Abtasteinrichtung (18, 20) zur Steuerung der Bewegung der Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) mit dieser in Wirkverbindung steht. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 15,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abtasteinrichtung (18, 20) eine Rolle (20) umfasst, die auf dem auf das offene Profil (7) aufgelegten zweiten Metallband (2) abrollt. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 16,
dadurch gekennzeichnet dass die Rolle (20) als Führungsrolle ausgebildet ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 16 oder 17,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweißleistung der Schweißvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit von der Rotationsgeschwindigkeit der Rolle (20) regelbar ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 18,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abtasteinrichtung (18, 20) aus einer Führungsrolleneinrichtung (18) zum Zusammenführen des offenen Profils (7) mit dem zweiten Metallband (2) gebildet ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 19,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweißvorrichtung mindestens einen Schweißkopf (21, 22) enthält, der an der Führungsrolleneinrichtung (18) angebracht ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 19 oder 20,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Führungsrolleneinrichtung (18) federbelastet und im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des Profils (7) beweglich ausgebildet ist. - Schweißstation zur Verwendung im Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, umfassend:eine Transport- und Führungseinrichtung (17, 18) zum Zusammenführen eines offenen Metallprofils (7) mit einem zweiten Metallband (2) und zum Auflegen des zweiten Metallbandes (2) auf die die offene Seite begrenzenden Kanten (15) des offenen Profils (7),eine Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) zum Verschweißen des zweiten Metallbandes (2) mit dem offenen Profil (7) zu einem Hohlprofil (11),eine Abtasteinrichtung (20) zur Erkennung der aktuellen Lage mindestens einer der Kontaktstellen zwischen dem offenen Profil (7) und dem zweiten Metallband (2)wobei die Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) hinsichtlich ihres Wirkungsortes lageveränderlich ausgebildet ist, und die Abtasteinrichtung (20) zur Steuerung der Bewegung der Schweißvorrichtung (21, 22) mit dieser in Wirkverbindung steht.
