Abstract

The invention relates to a wardrobe securing device comprising a securing bow-shaped element (30) with two connected ends, whereby one bow end (32) is interlocked by a closing cylinder (20) in an end-receiving element (14) with an interlocking device (24). Said device also comprises a securing cable (40) whereby one of the ends thereof can be wound onto or wound off a rotatable drum (44) and is provided with a catch head (42) which can be engaged inside the cable interlocking device (22). Said one bow end (32) is provided with a plurality of notches (34) wherein a catch bolt (25) can be actuated with the aid of the closing cylinder (20).

The invention relates to a cloakroom security device with a housing, a security bracket with two connected bracket ends, each of which can be inserted into a bracket end receptacle on the housing, wherein at least one bracket end in a bracket end receptacle can be locked with a bracket locking device via a locking cylinder, and with a securing rope connected to it one end is fastened to a drum which can rotate in the housing and can be unwound and wound thereon and which has at its other end a latching head which can be snapped into a cable locking device.

A cloakroom security device is known from DE-PS 43 612, in which the security bracket can be moved against the housing to such an extent that a cloakroom hook can be clamped between the bracket and the housing. The housing has a flap on the front. By opening the flap, a clothes hook is exposed in the housing, on which a piece of clothing can be hung. The front plate of the device is then closed, so that the garment with its hanger hangs out of the housing, which is open at the bottom, and access to the clothes hook is denied in the housing. The disadvantage of this is that the garment can only be secured via the sewn-in hanging tab. Here the seams offer little resistance. The known device also provides for hanging a chain on the coat hook behind the lockable front panel. However, the handling of a chain that is long enough to be passed through a sleeve of the garment to be secured is extremely cumbersome. The chain must be completely removed from the known cloakroom security device each time it is used and folded up by hand so that it can be accommodated in the storage space available behind the front plate of the device. The length and thickness of the chain are limited by the storage space.

From DE-PS 880 789 a rope lock is known which has a drum in its housing with a wire wound thereon. At its loose end, the wire has a ring which is to be hooked into a padlock integrated in the top of the housing. The user has a sufficiently long rope to connect luggage or clothing to suitable objects such as handrails, pipes or the like. However, if there are no such aids in the area through which a rope or chain can be pulled, a piece of luggage cannot be secured with the known lock. In particular, it is not possible to secure a piece of clothing or luggage to any existing cloakroom hook with the known rope lock.

Reference should also be made to US Pat. No. 4,885,920 A, which shows a guard securing device of the type mentioned at the outset, but is disadvantageous in that a secure attachment is only possible on cloakroom rails attached on both sides. If such a wardrobe rail is not available or if there are only held clothes hangers, the latter security device cannot be used.

It is therefore the task of further developing a cloakroom security device in such a way that an easy-to-use and high degree of security fastening of cloakroom items is possible, in particular on cloakroom hooks, and cloakroom rails attached on one side is possible.

This object is achieved with a cloakroom security device of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which at least one bracket end is provided with a plurality of locking notches, which can be engaged with a locking bolt which can be actuated with the aid of the locking cylinder.

The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that the safety bracket integrated into the housing with the lockable locking mechanism allows the entire device to be attached to existing coat hooks. The cable, which is also integrated in the housing, allows the safety cable to be pulled through suitable openings in the garment, in particular through the sleeve, and then locked in the housing of the device with a lock. A suitcase or the like can also be secured if the rope is pulled through the handle.

Both the shackle locking device and the cable locking device can be actuated via a — preferably common — locking cylinder. The user therefore only has to have a single key ready and can With a single turn of the key, you can both release the rope and release the catch of the bracket. As a result, the rope can be removed from the cloakroom piece and the entire cloakroom security device can be removed from the cloakroom hook. The rope is automatically wound on the drum integrated in the housing by a spring mechanism or the like.

It is particularly advantageous if, in addition, a self-cashing device is provided which, when a coin is inserted, releases the actuation of the locking cylinder and / or enables the removal of a key inserted into the locking cylinder. As a result, the cloakroom security device according to the invention can be made available to customers for a fee.

FIG. 1 shows the cloakroom security device of the invention, in which a front plate of the housing 10 is removed. In the top 17 of the housing 10, two recesses 11, 12 are made for a securing bracket 30. The securing bracket 30 is bent essentially in a U-shape and has two parallel bracket ends 31, 32 which are connected to one another via an arc section 33. The ends of the bracket 30, 32 can be inserted into the housing 10 through the recesses 11, 12 and is supported in the end ends 13, 14 of the bracket.

One bracket end 32 is provided with a plurality of notches 34. In the housing 10 there is also a shackle locking device 24 with a locking pin 25 which engages in the locking notches and thus secures the shackle 30 against being pulled out of the housing 10 until the shackle locking device 24 is released again by actuating a locking cylinder 20.

A cable drum 44 is also rotatably mounted in the housing 10, onto which a safety cable 40 is wound. The loose end of the safety cable 40 located outside the housing is provided with a latching head 42 which can be latched into a cable locking device 22 which is fastened in the housing 10. By actuating the locking cylinder 20, the cable locking device 22 and the shackle locking device 24 are released simultaneously. The cable 40 can be pulled further out of the housing 10 with its locking head 42 and then winds up again via a spring mechanism integrated into the drum 44. The bracket 30 can be raised relative to the top 17 of the housing 10 to such an extent that a coat hook enclosed in the space between the bracket 30 and the housing 10 is released again. The bracket 30 can in particular be pulled out of the housing to such an extent that the bracket end 32 is exposed, so that the bracket 30 can be pivoted about the bracket end receptacle 13. The bracket end 31 is secured at the end with a cross bolt 35 against being pulled out of the bracket end receptacle 13, thereby preventing the bracket 30 from being removed from the housing 10.

The first embodiment of the invention described above has a bracket with a U-shaped rounded arc section 33. As shown in FIG. 2a, the bracket 30 and the housing top 17 enclose a cloakroom hook 200. After the bracket 30 has been secured in the bracket locking device 24, it is no longer possible to remove the cloakroom securing device 100 from the cloakroom hook 200.

In a further embodiment, which is shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b, a cloakroom security device 100 ^{.lamda. Has} a security bracket 30 'which is rectangular in shape. In this case, the temple ends are connected to one another via a central section 33 arranged at right angles thereto. This embodiment is advantageous for such cloakroom hooks 200 ^λ , the cross-section of which is also rectangular and which, as a conclusion, does not have a thickened cross-section but an upstanding hook area 202 ^x .
