Der ganze Kleiderhalter bildet ein Gehäuse von ähnlicher Gröfse der Zündholzbüchsen und ist mit verschiedenen Mechanismen versehen. Im Gehäuse A schiebt sich der zweiarmige Riegel B, Fig. 3, dessen einer Arm a mit Zähnen versehen ist, in die sich eine im Innern des Gehäuses befindliche Feder b einlegt, wodurch der über einen mit Knopf versehenen Kleiderhaken gebrachte Riegel B, Fig. 11, festgeschlossen wird. Der mit dem Arm D versehene Boden E an der unteren Seite des Gehäuses ist mittelst Gelenkes befestigt und läfst sich mit seinem Arm aus dem Gehäuse herausschlagen. In der Mitte des Gehäuses befindet sich der zur Aufnahme des Rockhenkels dienende Haken F. Durch den am Boden E befindlichen Arm D wird verhindert, dafs der Rock sich dicht an die Wand des Zimmers anlegen kann. Aufserdem befindet sich die Schlingkette G im Gehäuse, mittelst welcher Stöcke, Schirme etc. angeschlossen und befestigt werden können. Die als Verschlufs dienende Wand e, welche mittelst Scharniere am Gehäuse befestigt ist, trägt noch die Klemmplatte H, welche dazu dient, die Hutkrempe festzuhalten. Sobald nun der Riegel B mit Hülfe der Sperrfeder b an dem Kleiderhaken befestigt, die Wand E herausgeklappt, der Rock am Haken F aufgehängt und der Schirm oder Stock mit der ebenfalls am Haken F einzuhängenden Kette G festgelegt ist, wird die Verschlufsplatte H umgelegt und hierbei die Hutkrempe durch die Klemmplatte festgehalten, wobei durch Aufdrücken der Schliefsplatte e die Schliefsfeder einschnappt oder mittelst eines Schlüssels, der auch zum Lösen der Schliefsfeder dienen kann, ein Riegel verschoben ist und hierdurch eine vollkommen sichere Festlegung der Kleidungsstücke bewirkt wird, welche nur durch den Inhaber des betreffenden Schlüssels zum Kleiderhalter gelöst werden kann.The whole clothes rack forms a housing of the same size as the matchboxes and is provided with different mechanisms.
