Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen verschließbaren Garderobenhalter, bei welchem nur bei Benutzung des Halters in diesen ein Einsteckschloß eingesetzt wird. Der neue Garderobenhalter zeichnet sich bei einfacher Bauart insbesondere durch bequeme und einfache Handhabung sowie durch zuverlässige Wirkungsweise aus. Das wesentliche Merkmal der Erfindung besteht darin, daß in die vordere Öffnung des zum Einhängen des Mantelaufhängers dienenden bügeiförmigen Mantelhakens das etwa als Schnappschloß ausgebildete Einsteckschloß dicht schließend eingeführt werden kann und hierdurch selbst die öffnung des Hakens verschließt. Gleichzeitig beim Einführen des Einsteckschlosses in die vordere Öffnung des Mantelhakens wird durch dieses Schloß selbst unter Vermittlung eines entsprechenden Hebelgestänges der drehbare Verschlußbügel für den Huthaken auf den Hut herunterbewegt und der letztere dadurch gegen Wegnahme gesichert.The present invention relates to a lockable coat rack in which a mortise lock is only used when the holder is in use.
