Description
- La présente invention a pour objet un fil hybride thermostable renforcé.
- Des filés de fibres, renforcés par une âme coaxiale, connus par le brevet européen n°
0271 418 , sont obtenus sur des machines de filature modifiées. Les âmes de ces filés sont réalisées à partir de fibres organiques à haute résistance et haut module, appartenant à la famille des PPTA (poly-para-phénylène-téréphtalamide) ou autres fibres de synthèse à hautes propriétés mécaniques (haute résistance, haut module). Ces filés trouvent de nombreuses applications dans le domaine de la réalisation de tissus destinés à la protection individuelle des personnes évoluant dans différents secteurs tels que la protection civile, les secteurs exposés de l'industrie, certains vêtements militaires, mais également dans des domaines civils, tels que le sport et le loisir. - Les caractéristiques fondamentales que doivent posséder les tissus destinés à la protection des personnes évoluant en présence de risques liés à l'environnement sont rappelées ci-après. Ce tableau 1 se veut exhaustif de manière à appréhender toutes les situations précédentes.

- Le nombre 1 correspond aux faibles exigences, ces dernières croissant de manière continue jusqu'au nombre 6 qui correspond à de très fortes exigences pour le critère considéré, et répondant à la très grande majorité des normes en vigueur.
- Le tableau 2 met en évidence les caractéristiques d'un tissu obtenu à partir d'un filé réalisé selon le brevet cité plus haut à partir des matériaux suivants

- Il doit être noté que l'indice maximum de 6 se retrouve dans l'ensemble des critères retenus. En comparant ce dernier tableau au précédent, on constate que le produit est largement surdimensionné par rapport aux exigences. Ceci n'est pas sans incidence sur le prix du produit qui se trouve ainsi pénalisé par une surabondance de propriétés.
- L'expérience a montré d'une manière générale que les performances demandées dans le tableau 1 étaient atteintes lorsque la concentration en filé de fibres haute résistance et haut module était supérieure à 23 % du total du filé en poids.
- Selon la technique antérieure, illustrée par le tableau de performances 2, il est très difficile de réaliser des filés ne contenant que 23 % de fils d'âme. En effet, pour un filé global de Nm 45/2, le filé d'âme devrait avoir un titrage de

FR 2 611 749 - Le but de l'invention est de fournir un fil hybride thermostable renforcé, dans lequel les éléments de renforcement puissent être présents en quantité inférieure aux fils précédemment connus, permettant ainsi un dosage de la concentration des fibres de renforcement, en fonction de l'application et pour satisfaire à des impératifs économiques, tout en permettant une fabrication classique de ce fil.
- A cet effet, le fil qu'elle concerne comporte au moins un brin réalisé avec une âme de renforcement en filé de fibres à haut module et haute résistance, à base de matériau organique ou inorganique et une couverture en fibres classiques longues ou courtes à bas module, les autres brins étant en fibres classiques longues ou courtes à bas module, ces autres brins étant agencés pour assurer la protection de la couverture du ou des brins avec âme de renforcement.
- Il faut noter qu'avec une telle concentration de l'âme dans le brin unitaire contenant celle-ci, la partie couverture du filé de fibres constituant l'âme se trouve très dilué et par conséquent très fragile à l'abrasion. L'association de brins contenant une âme de renforcement avec des brins réalisés avec une technique classique, telle que filature de fibres longues ou courtes, permet de protéger le ou les brins contenant l'âme de renforcement, par recouvrement mutuel et partiel de ce ou ces brins par les autres brins.
- Suivant une possibilité, ce fil est constitué par un fil retors dans lequel les différents brins sont assemblés par torsion. Dans un tel cas, les spires constitutives des brins réalisés en fibre classique recouvrent partiellement les spires réalisées à partir du ou des brins incluant l'âme de renforcement, assurant une amélioration à la résistance à l'abrasion.
- En outre, ces autres brins assurent une protection des fibres des filés d'âme vis-à-vis de l'action des rayons ultra violets et permet également de confiner la fibrillation des matériaux à haut module et haute résistance à l'intérieur d'un filé, ce qui permet de conserver des propriétés d'aspect correct du tissu final même après de nombreux lavages ou un usage intensif.
- Suivant une forme d'exécution de ce fil, celui-ci comprend deux brins, dont l'un comprend une âme de renforcement et dont l'autre comprend des fibres classiques longues ou courtes à bas module.
- Avantageusement la concentration en poids du filé d'âme par rapport au poids total du fil est comprise entre 23 et 35%.
- Le filé d'âme de renforcement comporte une tendance naturelle à posséder un couple de torsion rémanent qui déséquilibre le fil hybride. Les fils classiques constituant l'autre fraction du fil hybride sont constitués en totalité de fibres à bas module et faible résistance. Ces fibres ne possèdent par conséquent pas de couple rémanent susceptible d'équilibrer le fil hybride. Pour créer cet équilibre il faut maintenir un écart entre les torsions unitaires des filés composant le fil hybride. A cet effet, le fil hybride respecte une condition d'équilibrage des torsions suivant la formule :

- α = coefficient de torsion avec 80 ≤ α ≤ 110
- Suivant une caractéristique de l'invention les fibres utilisées pour la réalisation de l'âme de renforcement ont un module supérieur à 40 G Pa et une résistance à la rupture supérieure à 13 cN/dtex.
- Selon une possibilité les fibres utilisées pour la réalisation de l'âme de renforcement sont choisies parmi les polyparaphénylène téréphtalamide (PPTA), polybenzy dizoxazole (PBO) et polyéthylène (PE) à haut poids moléculaire.
- Suivant une première forme d'exécution les fibres à bas module utilisées pour la couverture de l'âme de renforcement et pour la réalisation du ou des autres brins sont choisies parmi les méta-aramide et polyamide imide.
- Suivant une autre forme d'exécution les fibres à bas module utilisées pour la couverture de l'âme de renforcement et pour la réalisation du ou des autres brins sont constituées par des fibres polymériques ignifugées dans la masse.
- Suivant encore une autre forme d'exécution les fibres à bas module utilisées pour la couverture de l'âme de renforcement et pour la réalisation du ou des autres brins sont constituées par des fibres végétales ignifugées ou non.
- Il doit être noté qu'il est possible de combiner différents types de fibres, par exemple des fibres polymériques ignifugées dans la masse et des fibres végétales telles que du coton.
- Afin d'améliorer les caractéristiques du tissu qui sera obtenu à l'aide de ce fil, l'un de ses composants contient une fraction de fibres conductrices ou dissipatrices de charges électrostatiques.
- Si l'on analyse un filé retors à 2 brins, il est possible d'imaginer une construction du type suivant, représentée à la figure unique du dessin schématique annexé :
- Un premier brin 2 réalisé avec une âme 3 filé de fibres haute résistance et haut module et une couverture 4 réalisée avec une fibre thermostable.
- Second filé réalisé sans âme donc classique constitué de fibres longues ou courtes en fibres thermostables à 100%.

- Un premier exemple concret, non limitatif pour la portée de l'invention fera mieux comprendre la construction du filé final.
- Il s'agit d'obtenir un tissu thermostable, correspondant aux exigences du tableau (1) en partant d'une masse surfacique de 210 à 215 g/m2.

- Un second exemple non limitatif d'un fil selon l'invention est décrit ci-après :
- Soit à réaliser un tissu non feu, stable dimensionnellement, destiné à être utilisé dans la métallurgie de l'aluminium. Ce tissu doit avoir une masse surfacique de 250g/m2. La présence de filé d'âme à haute résistance et haut module est indispensable pour deux raisons :
- Stabilité du tissu à l'entretien à haute température > 100°
R<2% - Pour obtenir une masse surfacique de 250 g/m2, le titre doit être

- Le filé est un filé classique, obtenu par un mélange pondéral de 50% de fibres PVA, et de 50% de fibres de coton, réalisé en technique cotonnière.

- La composition de filé est donc :
- fibres haute résistance et haut module 25% - fibres PVA FR + Coton 75% - La technologie décrite précédemment permet d'obtenir des filés et donc des tissus dont les performances peuvent être dosées à priori, ce que ne permet pas la technique antérieure ou les filés constituants étaient tous de même composition, avec des impossibilités technico économiques pour atteindre les faibles concentration en filés haute résistance et haut module.
- Il faut noter que l'un des avantages de cette technologie est de soustraire les fibres des filés d'âme à l'action des UV très préjudiciable dans le cas d'utilisation des fibres PPTA, PBO, donc toutes fibres contenant des groupements amides et aromatiques.
- Ce système permet également de confiner la fibrillation des matériaux haut module et haute résistance, à l'intérieur de l'un des filés constituant le fil complet, et ainsi conserver des propriétés d'aspects correctes, même après de très nombreux lavages ou un usage intensif

Claims (9)
- Fil hybride thermostable comportant au moins un brin (2) réalisé avec une âme de renforcement en filé de fibres à haut module et haute résistance, à base de matériau organique ou inorganique et une couverture (4) en fibres classiques longues ou courtes à bas module, les autres brins (5) étant en fibres classiques longues ou courtes à bas module, ces autres brins étant agencés pour assurer la protection de la couverture du ou des brins (2) avec âme de renforcement (3) caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué par un fil retors dans lequel les différents brins (2, 5) sont assemblés par torsion, et en ce qu'il respecte une condition d'équilibrage des torsions suivant la formule:

- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la concentration en poids du filé d'âme (3) par rapport au poids total du fil (6) est comprise entre 23 et 35%.
- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que les fibres utilisées pour la réalisation de l'âme de renforcement (3) ont un module supérieur à 40 G Pa et une résistance à la rupture supérieure à 13 cN/dtex.
- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que les fibres utilisées pour la réalisation de l'âme de renforcement (3) sont choisies parmi les polyparaphénylène téréphtalamide (PPTA), polybenzy dizoxazole (PBO) et polyéthylène (PE) à haut poids moléculaire.
- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les fibres à bas module utilisées pour la couverture (4) de l'âme de renforcement (3) et pour la réalisation du ou des autres brins (5) sont choisies parmi les méta-aramide et polyamide imide.
- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les fibres à bas module utilisées pour la couverture (4) de l'âme de renforcement (3) et pour la réalisation du ou des autres brins (5) sont constituées par des fibres polymériques ignifugées dans la masse.
- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé ce que les fibres à bas module utilisées pour la couverture (4) de l'âme de renforcement (3) et pour la réalisation du ou des autres brins (5) sont constituées par des fibres végétales ignifugées ou non.
- Fil hybride selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que l'un de ses composants contient une fraction de fibres conductrices ou dissipatrices de charges électrostatiques.
