Aufgrund der elektrischen Verbindung der Kontaktpins 15a untereinander werden so die Adern 6 der beiden Profilkabel 3a und 3b polrichtig miteinander elektrisch verbunden.   1. Contact terminal for an insulated multi-wire flat cable (2), in particular for a form-coded profile cable (3), comprising two mating terminal parts (14, 24), whereby one terminal part (24) incorporates a receptacle (20) for the correctly oriented insertion of the cable (3) and the other terminal part (14) incorporates at least one contact pin (15, 15a) assigned to a particular wire (5, 6) of the cable (3) and, when the terminal parts (14, 24) have been assembled, penetrating the insulation of the cable (3) and sticking into the wire (5, 6) of the cable (3) to establish an electrical contact, whereby the contact pins (15, 15a) are arranged next to one another at right angles to the longitudinal direction (18) of the cable (3) at a mutual distance (z) approximately equal to the wire spacing (a),
