  • This invention relates to a carton and a blank for forming a carton according to the preambles of claims 1 and 10 respectively which is used for accommodating one or more articles, for example, flexible pouch packs or bottles. It also concerns the method of forming the carton from the blank and loading the same with one or more articles. More particularly, the invention relates to a wraparound carton incorporating a top-gripping structure which attaches to an upper portion of one or more articles thereby to secure the articles in an array.

Schachtel zum Halten eines Gegenstands, beispielsweise eines elastischen Beutels, wobei die Schachtel eine Gegenstandsrückhaltestruktur umfasst, um zu verhindern, dass der verpackte Gegenstand durch die offenen Enden der Schachtel entfernt wird, wobei die Gegenstandsrückhaltestruktur eine Rückhaltewandfläche (26, 126, 226) umfasst, die sich zwischen gegenüberliegenden Schachtelseitenwänden (14, 18, 114, 118, 214, 218) zwischen der Decken- (22, 122) und der Bodenwand (16, 116, 216) der Schachtel erstreckt, um eine röhrenförmige Struktur im Zusammenwirken mit der Deckenwand auszubilden, wobei die Rückhaltewandfläche mit einer Gegenstandsaufnahmeöffnung ausgebildet ist und die röhrenförmige Struktur mit einer Strebe zum Beibehalten der röhrenförmigen Struktur in einem aufgerichteten Zustand bereitgestellt ist, wobei die Strebe eine Strebenwandfläche (50, 52, 150, 152, 250, 252) umfasst, die gelenkig an die Rückhaltewandfläche angebracht ist und von der röhrenförmigen Struktur nach Innen gefaltet ist, um sich zwischen der Rückhaltewandfläche und der Deckenwand zu erstrecken, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Strebe mit einer Reibungslasche (58, 60, 158, 160, 258, 260) bereitgestellt ist, die gelenkig an die Strebenwandfläche angebracht ist, wobei die Reibungslasche angepasst ist, gegen eine Innenseite der röhrenförmigen Struktur gedrückt zu werden, um die Strebenwandfläche in der gefalteten Position zurückzuhalten.
  2. Schachtel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Strebenwandfläche aus der Rückhaltewandfläche ausgestanzt ist und die Gegenstandsaufnahmeöffnung definiert, wen diese in die röhrenförmige Struktur gefaltet wird.
  3. Schachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Reibungslasche angepasst ist, einen oberen Abschnitt von einer der Schachtelseitenwände in Eingriff zu nehmen.
  4. Schachtel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei die Reibungslasche aus einer Seitenwand der röhrenförmigen Struktur ausgestanzt ist.
  5. Schachtel nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Seitenwand eine obere Seitenwandfläche (24, 124, 224) umfasst, die gelenkig die Deckenwand und die Rückhaltewandfläche miteinander verbindet, sowie eine untere Seltenwandfläche (14, 114, 214), die mit der Bodenwand verbunden ist und an die obere Seitenwandfläche angebracht ist, und wobei die Reibungslasche aus der oberen Seitenwandfläche ausgestanzt ist.
  6. Schachtel nach Anspruch 5, wobei die untere Seitenwandfläche an die Außenseite der oberen Seitenwandfläche angebracht ist, um die Öffnung zu überdecken, die in der oberen Seitenwandfläche durch die Reibungslasche definiert wird.
  7. Schachtel nach Anspruch 6, wobei ein Abschnitt der Reibungslasche in der Öffnung freigelegt ist, die in der oberen Seitenwandfläche definiert wird, und wobei die Reibungslasche mittels Klebstoff an die untere Seitenwandfläche befestigt ist.
  8. Schachtel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei wenigstens eine Öffnung (46, 48, 146, 148, 246, 248) entweder in der Deckenwand oder in der Seitenwand der Gegenstandsrückhaltestruktur ausgebildet ist, um zu ermöglichen, dass der obere Abschnitt eines der Gegenstände sichtbar ist.
  9. Schachtel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Schachtel ferner eine Endverschlussstruktur zum Verschließen der Enden der Schachtel umfasst, wobei die Endverschlussstruktur eine Endverschlusswandfläche (176a, 176b) und wenigstens eine Klebeklappe (178a, 178b, 180a, 180b) umfasst, die gelenkig an die Endverschlusswandfläche angebracht ist, um an eine der Boden- oder Seitenwände der Schachtel befestigt zu werden.
  10. Zuschnitt zum Ausbilden einer Schachtel zum Halten eines Gegenstands, beispielsweise eines elastischen Beutels, wobei der Zuschnitt eine Vielzahl von Wandflächen umfasst einschließlich einer ersten Seitenwandfläche (14, 114, 214), einer Bodenwandfläche (16, 116, 216), einer zweiten Seitenwandfläche (18, 118, 218) und einer Deckenwandfläche (21, 122, 222), die gelenkig eine mit der anderen verbunden sind, sowie einer Gegenstandsrückhaltestruktur, die sich zwischen den Schachtelseitenwandflächen zwischen der Deckenwandfläche erstreckt, wenn die Schachtel aufgerichtet ist, wobei die Rückhaltestruktur eine Rückhaltewandfläche (26, 126, 226) und Befestigungsmittel umfasst, um die Rückhaltewandfläche mit den Seitenwandflächen zu verbinden, um eine röhrenförmige Struktur in einer aufgerichteten Schachtel auszubilden, wobei die Rückhaltewandfläche mit einer Gegenstandsaufnahmeöffnung sowie einer Strebe zum Beibehalten der röhrenförmigen Struktur in einem aufgerichteten Zustand ausgebildet ist, wobei die Strebe eine Strebenwandfläche (50, 52, 150, 152, 252) umfasst, die gelenkig an die Rückhaltewandfläche angebracht ist und angepasst ist, von der röhrenförmigen Struktur einer aufgerichteten Schachtel nach Innen gefaltet zu werden, um sich somit zwischen der Rückhaltewandfläche und der Deckenwandfläche zu erstrecken, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Strebe mit einer Reibungslasche (58, 60, 158, 160, 258, 260) bereitgestellt ist, die gelenkig an die Strebenwandfläche angebracht ist, wobei die Reibungslasche angepasst ist, gegen eine Innenseite der röhrenförmigen Struktur gedrückt zu werden.
  11. Zuschnitt nach Anspruch 10, wobei die Strebenwandfläche aus der Rückhaltewandfläche ausgestanzt ist und die Gegenstandsaufnahmeöffnung definiert, wen diese in die röhrenförmige Struktur gefaltet wird.
  12. Zuschnitt nach Anspruch 10 oder 11, wobei die Reibungslasche aus der Seitenwandfläche ausgestanzt ist.
  13. Zuschnitt nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 12, wobei die Seitenwandfläche eine obere Seitenwandfläche (216, 124, 224) umfasst, die gelenkig die Deckenwandfläche und die Rückhaltewandfläche miteinander verbindet, sowie eine untere Seitenwandfläche (14, 114, 214), die mit der Bodenwandfläche verbunden ist, und wobei die Reibungslasche aus der oberen Seitenwandfläche ausgestanzt ist.
  14. Zuschnitt nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 13, wobei wenigstens eine Öffnung (46, 48, 146, 148, 246, 248) entweder in der Deckenwandfläche oder in der Seitenwandfläche der Gegenstandsrückhaltestruktur ausgebildet ist, um zu ermöglichen, dass der obere Abschnitt eines der Gegenstände in der aufgerichteten Schachtel sichtbar ist.
  15. Zuschnitt nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 14, wobei der Zuschnitt ferner eine Endverschlussstruktur zum Verschließen der Enden der Schachtel umfasst, wobei die Endverschlussstruktur eine Endverschlusswandfläche (176a, 176b) und wenigstens eine Klebeklappe (178a, 178b, 180a, 180b) umfasst, die gelenkig mit der Endverschlusswandfläche verbunden ist.
  16. Verpackung umfassend eine Schachtel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 sowie ein Array von Gegenständen, die in der Schachtel enthalten sind.
