If the boxes 2 are to be filled with several layers of boxes 1 one above the other and / or with several rows of boxes next to each other, an operator, the not completely filled outer cartons from the roller conveyor 19, it carries back to the belt conveyor 14 and sets it there for the next filling again. Completely filled outer cartons are removed.
- This simple embodiment has the advantage that the packing device is not wider than the folding box gluing machine arranged in front of it. It can therefore be used even in very tight spaces. If there is enough space in the width, this can be used for the automatic return transport, as in the embodiment according to FIG. 2 is shown.
- transversely extending transport belts 20 are arranged between the rollers of the roller conveyor 19, which can be deactivated by lowering to below the conveying plane of the roller conveyor 19 and activated by lifting to above this conveyor plane.
- the rollers of the roller conveyor 19 extend in the transverse direction to beyond the filling so far out that on its end cartons 2 in the opposite direction to the filling at the filling point can be transported back over.
- another roller conveyor 21 the conveyor line of which extends parallel and opposite to the conveying paths of the conveyors 14, 16, 17 into the region of the beginning of the belt conveyor 14 and thus on this side the end of the packing device forms.
- the conveying path of the roller conveyor 21 is connected via a cross-conveying further roller conveyor 22 with the beginning of the belt conveyor 14.
- the operator 15 only needs to set up empty cartons on the belt conveyor 14 and to remove filled cartons from the roller conveyor 21.
- These two manual processes can also be automated by connecting appropriate conveyors.
- Along the conveyor lines of the conveyor 21 and 22 can also be arranged advantageously additional accessories, such as devices with which the cartons are erected and opened or devices for closing the filled cartons.
- the transition between the in FIG. 9 shown folding box feeder 3 and the conveyor 9 is designed as a stowage and transfer device 50 whose attached to the conveyor 9 parts in FIG. 8 are shown enlarged.
- the stowage and transfer device 50 has the task to collect a certain number of boxes 1 and to hand over the belt 27, 29 of the conveyor 3 in a flake shape with a preset degree of overlap.
- the boxes 1 are continuously conveyed by the belts 4 of the feed device 3 against the beginning of the conveyor 9.
- the storage and transfer device 50 consists of a Schupprolle 51, which is arranged at the lower beginning of the conveyor 9 and at the same time forms the inlet-side guide roller of the lower conveyor belt 29.
- the Schupprolle 51 has the task to promote each of the first box of a pent-up stacked stack between the conveyor belt 27, 29.
- the circulating conveyor belt 29 is guided to the subsequent, the conveying path of the conveyor 9 limiting pulley 52 in a loop, so that the conveyor line is interrupted below a small piece.
- the position of the loading roller 51 relative to the deflection roller 52 determines the degree of overlap with which the boxes 1 are withdrawn from the feeder 3. Therefore, the Schupprolle 51 is mounted in a pivotable bearing part 53, so that the Schuppungsgrad on the position of the Schupprolle 51 can be set to the desired value.
- a down-holder strip 54 extending against the conveying direction of the boxes 1 is fastened to the conveyor 9.
- the hold-down bar 54 has the task of keeping upright stacking boxes 1 at its upper edge. Your distance from the belt 4 of the feeder 3 is set to the box width. It forms together with the ends of the belt 4 a jam section 55, as seen from FIG. 1 is apparent. Since with the number of accumulating in the jam section 55 boxes 1, these are increasingly vertical, the minimum distance between the upper edges of the boxes 1 of the hold-down bar 54 is a measure of the number of jamming boxes 1.
- an electromechanical sensor integrated, which determines the height of the box package between the belt 4 and the hold-down bar 54 and thus the number of accumulating boxes 1.
- the hold-down bar 54 At the end of the hold-down bar 54 is a against the lower conveyor belt 29 extending elastic Schuppfinger 56 is attached.
- the distance of the Schuppfingers 56 from the lower conveyor belt 29 is set to the thickness of the scaled blank strand.
- the Schuppfinger 56 has the task at a discharge of the first box 1 of the accumulating box package to retain the next following box 1 so that it is not pulled along by the first box 1.
- the hold-down strip 54 with the attached Schuppfinger 56 is mounted vertically adjustable so that their position can be adapted to different box widths.
- the positions of the hold-down bar 54 with the Schuppfinger 56 and the Schupprolle 51 are coupled to each other adjustable, as in the FIGS. 6 and 8th is shown.
- This has the advantage that a conversion of the storage and transfer device 50 to another box format can be carried out very quickly and without much effort.
- the lever mechanism formed by the bearing members 53, 57 and the levers 58 is designed so that the movements of the hold-down bar 54 are coupled to the Schuppfinger 56 and the Schupprolle 51 performed to the extent necessary, so that in a format adjustment each part assumes its new position , Thus, the position of the Schupprolle 51 can be additionally adjusted relative, this is additionally attached to its bearing part 53 adjustable.
- the joint coupled adjustment of the elements offers the possibility to automate the adjustment. Instead of the handwheel 60 then an adjustment is used, which moves the adjusting rod 59.
- Feeders 3 shown in greater detail contains, as conveying elements, belts 4 which extend into the accumulation section 55 and thus also convey against pent-up boxes 1. They are advantageously designed so that the conveying effect the conveyor belt 4 depends on the contact pressure of the boxes 1 and this dependence is additionally adjustable.
- each conveyor belt 4 as a sectional drawing in FIG. 10 shown, guided between two upper guide rails 70 and rests on a pressurizable air pressure hose 71 on. Between the pressure hose 71 and the conveyor belt 4, a thin, deformable plate 72 is arranged, over which the conveyor belt 4 can slide with little friction.
- the conveyor belt 4 is guided so supported by the pressure hose 71 between the guide rails 70, that it protrudes beyond the surfaces of the guide rails 70 without the depressing weight of resting boxes 1.
- the belt 4 thus acts on the undersides of the boxes 1 and promotes them further.
- Increases the weight of the cartons 1 the conveyor belt 4 is pressed down against the force of the pressure hose 71. It moves relative to the surfaces of the guide rails 70 down until they lie in a plane with the surface of the belt 4. In this position, the boxes rest on the surfaces of the rails 70 and are no longer conveyed by the belt 4. Over the conveyor length of the belt 4 can thus adjust depending on the weight of the resting boxes 1, a different conveying force.
- each pressure hose 71 is connected via lines 73 and a control valve 74 to a compressed air source 70.
- the two guide rails 70 and the pressure hose 71 with the overlying conveyor belt 4 each extend over the entire conveying path of the feed device 3. They are arranged between two cheek-shaped side parts 75, which are screwed together and are mounted transversely adjustable on spindles 76.
- the spindles 76 extend transversely to the conveying direction and are mounted with their ends in side parts 77 of the frame of the feed device 3.
- two conveyor belts 4 are mounted in the manner described above in each case at a distance from each other and individually transversely adjustable on spindles 76, which are driven together via a connected with a rotary drive 78 cantilever 79.
- FIG. 9 is also transversely adjustable stop 6 partially cut shown. At the stop 6, the boxes 1 are aligned, if they are conveyed to the conveyor belt 4 at an angle of 90 °.

The illustrated in the figures embodiment of a packing device is used for wrapping flat folded

From the

The
The division of the conveying path of the
In
At a small distance above the conveying plane of the
At least one of the
In this embodiment, transversely extending

The storage and
At the end of the hold-down
