Definitions
- the present invention relates to a handset device which can be inserted into an auditory canal with a loudspeaker device, which has a sound outlet opening.
- the present invention relates to such a hearing device with a wax protection system that prevents them from penetrating Cerumen protects.
- the ear canal insert has a sound channel in front the sound channel opening facing the eardrum Cerumen protection is provided.
- the wax guard consists of one injected into a core of the ear canal insert sound-permeable membrane. This cerumen protection system is however uncomfortable to use.
- the object of the present invention is therefore an improved cerumen protection system for hearing aids respectively To propose listeners.
- this object is achieved by a handset device which can be inserted into an ear canal with a loudspeaker device which has a sound outlet opening has, and a bandage, which over the speaker device is attached in such a way that it opens the sound outlet at least partially covered.
- the bandage advantageously consists of an elastic material, so that it covers the sound outlet opening of the Loudspeaker device can be tensioned. Is the bandage as Hose piece executed, this can be done via the loudspeaker device can be pulled and can be so without major Assemble the function properly.
- the bandage is preferably made of a chemical resistant Material such as Teflon. If the bandage is from an open pore Material would have the advantage that the Bandage without a special opening for a static Provide pressure equalization, completely through the sound outlet could be pulled.
- hearing aids in hearing aids have an elongated design, with a sound outlet connecting piece for guiding the sound to the eardrum being provided on one of the end faces.
- a sound outlet opening is used on the receiver, over which a bandage is pulled. If the area of the sound outlet opening is too small, the bandage or membrane stretched over the sound outlet opening is too rigid, which leads to high sound attenuation. It has been found that in the case of closed-pore membranes, sound outlet openings whose area is larger than 4 mm 2 are preferred. Such large sound outlet openings can generally only be realized on one of the long sides of the receiver or loudspeaker devices.
- the receiver or loudspeaker swings at the Sound generation. Therefore, it makes sense to have the listener in one Housing, especially in the hearing aid housing, is damped to store. This can be done by using attenuators at the corners of the handset or else through the bandage between the listener and the housing is arranged.
- the handset can be used in one special encapsulation, which in turn has an outlet opening for the sound outlet, which is mechanically protected against penetrating cerumen.
- the encapsulation can consist of a container in which the Is inserted and closed by a cover becomes.
- the lid can be made of a plastic material exist and have said outlet opening.
- Cerumen Mechanical protection of the outlet opening against penetration Cerumen can preferably be realized using a stamp, which is movably housed in the opening. Consequently the cerumen penetrated into the outlet opening remove by lifting or pressing the stamp.
- the wax protection system shown in the figure consists in essentially of two components.
- a hearing aid receiver 1 is in a separate capsule 2 anti-vibration with damping elements 3 hung.
- This capsule 2 can be both a separate part as well as part of the hearing aid shell at the Shell production may be provided.
- the receiver 1 instead of the outlet connection, the receiver 1 usually has is used, a side sound outlet 4.
- a band 5 is made of highly elastic over the receiver 1 and almost massless material.
- the bandage consists of a very thin tube of one Teflon film. Because of the hose over the entire handset 1 is pulled, the wax guard is lightly attached to the Mount handset 1. It is particularly advantageous that on this way stretched a membrane without a frame in front of the opening 4 can be.
- the inside of the receiver 4 is through the membrane, respectively almost hermetically sealed by the hose, so that penetration of cerumen parts into the sensitive Is prevented. If the membrane does not come from an open pore Material, the opening 4 should not be complete be covered by the membrane. Rather, it should a very slight leak persist to one to allow static compensation of the air pressure. this will in practice often through a small additional compensation opening reached on the handset case.
- the sound outlet opening 4 of the loudspeaker or of the receiver 1 should be chosen to be as large as possible so that the membrane stretched over the opening is not too stiff and dampens the emerging sound too much. Transmission measurements have shown that the sound outlet opening 4 should have a size of at least 4 mm 2 for the available foils. Since this area is generally not provided on the end face of an elongated receiver 1, the sound outlet opening 4 is provided on a side wall of the receiver 1.
- the membrane or bandage 5 holds cerumen from the listener 1, but it is for longer-lasting protection from Advantage, if larger cerumen components from the membrane 5 are held.
- the reason for this is that Cerumen components that adhere to the membrane, in addition provide cushioning. Therefore, as already mentioned, the receiver 1 additionally introduced into an encapsulation 2 in which it is mounted to dampen vibrations.
- This capsule 2 is through a cover 6, which itself has a sound outlet opening 7 completed.
- the cover 6 also serves as a support for the damping elements 3.
- the sound outlet opening 7 is prevented by its mechanical Design and ensures the penetration of cerumen easy cleaning of the sound outlet opening.
- a bistably suspended stamp 8 which preferably consists of a permanently elastic plastic.
- the stamp 8 pulled out and wiped manually. Subsequently the stamp is pressed in again.
- the Cover 6 of the encapsulation removed by the acoustician and possibly be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath or the like.
- the membrane 5 prevents cerumen penetrates directly into the receiver 1.
- the bandage 5 can this also serves as a damping element for damping the Handset 1 can be used opposite the capsule 2.
- the bandage 5 Possible in this connection is, for example, the wall thickness of the Hose or the bandage 5 on the side that the Sound outlet opening 4 covers, less than in other areas to choose.
- the bandage 5 could have several functions take.
