Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'esters d'acide (méth)acrylique supérieurs par estérification d'acide (méth)acrylique avec les alcools correspondants dans un réacteur à évaporateur rotatif en la présence d'au moins un catalyseur acide, d'un mélange inhibiteur de polymérisation / d'inhibiteurs de polymérisation, et d'un solvant qui forme un azéotrope avec l'eau. Le procédé de l'invention permet la préparation d'esters supérieurs de l'acide (méth)acrylique avec des alcools, polyéther alcools ou polyester alcools monovalents ou plurivalents. Il peut cependant de préférence être utilisé pour la préparation d'esters d'acide (méth)acrylique supérieurs qui ont un poids moléculaire > 200 g/mol. Les esters de ce type ne peuvent plus être purifiés par distillation.
