Description

The invention relates to a turn-tilt fitting for window, door, fan or the like. Sash, in particular basement windows,
Consists of a tilt and turn bearing arrangement defining either a lower horizontal tilt or a vertical axis of rotation and a locking lever arrangement, particularly on the side of the wing opposite the vertical axis of rotation, as well as a tilt and turn wing provided with such a fitting a window provided with such a fitting, in particular a basement window.

Especially for basement windows, but also for windows of outbuildings or possibly also ancillary rooms, there is a need for simple and inexpensive constructions that are nevertheless functional and reliable. In particular, it is important to create a simple, yet functionally reliable turn-tilt fitting for a window, as is the case, for example, in DE 199 25 182 A1, which goes back to the applicant
is described.

There are of course a large number of so-called turn-tilt fittings for windows and doors od. Like .. However, these are all characterized by a relatively complex mechanism with a variety of levers, rotary elements for transmitting movements corner etc. For basement windows or windows of outbuildings this mechanism is too expensive, so that conventionally only such windows are offered are either with a rotating fitting or with a tilt fitting, but not with a fitting that allows both tilting and turning.

The present invention has for its object, even for simpler Windows, especially basement windows, have a turn-tilt fitting available , which is due to both a simple construction and functional reliability the same distinguishes, in particular also connectable to frame profiles is, as described for example in DE 199 25 182 A1.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of Claim 1 solved, wherein structural details are described in the subclaims are.

The invention also extends to turn-tilt sashes with a turn-tilt fitting according to the invention and on a window, in particular a basement window, with such a tilt and turn wing.

The essence of the present invention lies in a construction in which elements Avoiding the transfer of closing or opening movements across corners become. The turn-tilt fitting according to the invention is in particular by a Turn-tilt position arrangement with a lower wing corner assigned Turn-tilt bearing and one of the upper wing corner above the aforementioned marked lower wing corner associated fastener that on the one hand on a frame assigned to the wing around a vertical Axially pivoted and on the other hand with the assigned upper Wing corner is either longitudinally displaceable or so rigidly connectable that the wing is only rotatable about a vertical axis by the lower tilt and turn bearing and the upper pivot bearing of the connecting element is defined. The vertical axis of the lower turn-tilt bearing is aligned with the swivel bearing the connecting element on the frame or the like frame part, within which the window or the like wing is placed. The core of the invention Tilt-and-turn hardware is that assigned to an upper wing corner Connecting element, which is either a tilting around a horizontal lower axis or a pivoting or rotating the wing around a vertical Axis allowed. Thanks to this connecting element, corner fittings are unnecessary.

The other lower wing corner is one that defines the horizontal tilt axis Tilt bearing assigned, which can be unlocked if necessary, and that when that Window should be rotated around a vertical axis. So it's all in all a very simple construction. Accordingly, it is also simple the latter tipping bearing, which is characterized in that the tipping bearing a bearing pin projecting above the lower wing corner and one this associated locking bolt that can be moved up and down on the frame is stored and has a downwardly open groove into which in down Moved position of the locking bolt of the bearing pin with the formation of engages mentioned tilting bearing. The locking bolt is counter to the effect of his Dead weight can be raised. The locking bolt can either be moved longitudinally or be pivoted. Alternatively, it can be vertical Edge of the wing, provided that the associated bearing journal on the inside of the frame protrudes.

Otherwise, the aforementioned parts of the turn-tilt fitting according to the invention either right or left. There are no preferences here.

In a preferred embodiment, the connecting element is between Frame and upper wing corner with a flat profile made of metal or plastic a longitudinal slot through which a guide pin arranged on the upper wing edge extends with head overlapping laterally, in particular in the form of a guide screw.

In addition, it should be noted that the wing edge preferably by Frame profiles is composed, as described in DE 199 25 182 A1 are.

For the function of the turn-tilt fitting according to the invention is also from of particular importance that another at the upper wing edge or frame profile Pin is arranged, in relation to the guide pin inwards offset towards the center of the wing. This additional pin engages to fix the Connecting element on the upper wing edge or frame profile in one at the free End of the connecting element formed transverse recess, in particular in Form a transverse slot, and is in this or this by means of a Connecting element mounted locking bolt, especially swivel bolt, durable. So that the connecting element is rigidly connected to the upper wing edge, so that the wing is only around the pivot axis of the connecting element can rotate on the frame around a vertical axis. Naturally For this purpose, the lower tilt bearing must be unlocked in the manner described above Wise.

So that the connecting element of both the upper right and the left upper wing corner can be assigned are two at the free end of the same opposite the longitudinal axis of the connecting element, but in Cross recesses offset from one another in the direction of the longitudinal axis or transverse slots are provided, between which a locking bolt can be pivoted is mounted in such a way that it is arranged at the upper edge of the wing Depending on whether the fitting is hinged on the left or right, in the holds a transverse recess or in the other transverse recess. The locking bolt preferably has a hook portion surrounding the further pin on, so that if necessary the additional pin between this hook section on the one hand and the corresponding transverse recess on the connecting element on the other hand, as is held between two scissor arms. The corresponding one Accordingly, the fitting can also be referred to as a turn-tilt hook shear become.

Finally, constructive training is also of particular importance of the lower tilt and turn bearing. This is preferably by one lower wing corner downward projecting trunnion with head, in particular in the form of a bearing screw with a head on one side and one attached to the frame Bearing body with an opening open on the other hand formed. The opening edge of this latter opening opens both inwards and also funnel-like towards the outside, so that the head of the bearing journal or the bearing screw is held within the bearing opening so that the associated one Bearing journal or the associated bearing screw at essentially backlash-free relative rotary movement around the vertical axis without hindrance the window level can be tipped out. In this respect, it is an extremely simple turn-tilt storage. When using frame profiles according to DE 199 25 182 A1 a bearing screw of the aforementioned type is preferably used can be screwed into the corresponding plastic profile in a simple manner.

In Figure 1, a window sash 10 of a basement window 11 is in the tilted position shown. The window sash 10 is within a rectangular frame 12 rotatable and tiltable. The window is tilted by one lower horizontal axis 13. The window sash 10 comprises a window glass, which bordered by horizontal frame profiles 14 and vertical frame profiles 15 are. The frame profiles are preferably in accordance with DE 199 25 182 A1 made of plastic - reinforced or unreinforced.

At the bottom left there is a tilt bearing 16. At the bottom right there is a turn-tilt bearing 17, while at the top right a connecting element in the form of a flat profile 18 made of metal
or plastic is attached between the frame and the upper right wing corner. This connecting element is mounted on the frame 12 so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis 19. Otherwise, the connecting element 18 is connected to the upper right wing corner, as will be described in more detail below. This connecting element 18 can be rigidly connected to the upper sash edge or the frame profile 14 associated therewith, so that the window sash 10 can then no longer be tilted in the manner shown, but only pivotable or about a vertical axis, namely the vertical axis 19 is rotatable.

On the side of the wing opposite the vertical axis of rotation 19 is one Locking lever arrangement 20 provided consisting of a vertical Frame profile 15 connected locking lever 21, specifically as an angle lever is formed, and one of the closing lever or its locking part 22 associated latch 23, which is attached to the frame 12. The latch 23 is also described in more detail below.

In Figure 3, a corresponding window in the closed position is in view shown from the inside.

An der dem Blendrahmen 12 zugekehrten Seite weist das Fensterrahmenprofil 14, 15 noch einen umlaufenden Dichtstreifen 24 auf.FIG. 2 shows such a window in the tilted position corresponding to FIG. 1 in a schematic vertical section. It can be seen that it is a double pane window is. On the side facing the frame 12 the window frame profile 14, 15 still has a circumferential sealing strip 24.

2 is a section through the window corresponding to FIG. 1 or FIG. 3, longitudinal line II-II in FIG. 3, ie a section through the vertical axis of rotation of the window sash 10. Accordingly, the lower turn-tilt bearing in FIG. 2 is also good recognizable. This is formed by a bearing screw 25 with head 26, on the one hand, screwed onto the lower wing corner, specifically screwed into the lower frame profile 14, and a bearing body 27, which is fastened to the frame 12, with an opening 28 that is open at the top. The opening edge 29 of the opening 28 opens both inwards and outwards approximately in the manner of a funnel, so that the head 26 of the bearing screw 25 is held within the bearing opening 28 in such a way that the associated bearing screw 25, which here serves as a bearing journal, in the
substantial play-free relative rotary movement about the vertical axis (19) can be tilted out of the window plane 30 in accordance with FIG. 2 without hindrance, and preferably into the interior.

The already mentioned connecting element 18 between is particularly important Frame 12 and in the present case, upper right wing corner, which is made in the form of a flat profile made of metal or plastic. This has a longitudinal slot 31, through which a on the upper wing edge or corresponding frame profile 14 arranged guide pin with the guide slot 31 laterally overlapping head, in particular in the form of a guide screw 32 (cap screw) extends through. This screw is in that upper frame profile 14 screwed in from above.

At the upper wing edge or corresponding frame profile 14 is something to the middle of the wing offset another pin, specifically screw pin 33 arranged, the assigned to fix the connecting element 18 on the upper wing edge or Frame profile 14 in a at the free end of the connecting element 18th trained transverse recess, namely transverse slot 34, engages and in this is stable by means of a pivot bolt 35 mounted on the connecting element.

The bearing bore for the pivot bolt 35 is in FIG. 10 with the reference number 36 marked. Since the connecting element on both the upper right should also be connectable to the upper left end of the frame, it indicates at the free end two opposite to its longitudinal axis, but in Cross recesses offset from one another in the direction of the longitudinal axis or transverse slots 34, 37, between which the pivot bolt 35 can be pivoted is mounted, in such a way that it the further pin 33 depending on whether the fitting is hinged on the left or right, in the one transverse recess 34 or 37 holds in the other transverse recess. It is always towards make sure that the free handle section of the swivel lever 35 is closed Window protrudes slightly above the upper frame profile 14 between two fingers can be gripped and brought into the unlocked position.

The opening degree of the tilted wing is determined by the length of the connecting element 18 and in particular determined by the length of the longitudinal slot 31.

Die Schwenklagerbohrung 40 fluchtet im montierten Zustand des Verbindungselements 18 mit der Bohrung 40 des Schwenkhebels 35.As already mentioned, the pivot bolt 35 has a grip section 38 on the one hand and hook section 39 on the other hand. These two sections are separated from one another by a pivot bearing bore 40. Around this hole 40 is the pivot lever 35 at the free end portion of the connecting element 18 pivotably mounted, namely between the two transverse slots 34, 37 corresponding to Figure 10. The pivot bearing bore 40 is aligned in the assembled state of the connecting element 18 with the bore 40 of the pivot lever 35.

It should also be mentioned that the transverse slot 34 for a stop of the connecting element 18 top right, and the transverse slot 37 for a stop of the Connecting element 18 is effective at the top left.

When the connecting element 18 is fixed to the upper edge of the wing 10 or the upper frame profile 14, the hook portion 39 encloses the other Pin 33 so that the further pin 33 between the hook portion 39 and the corresponding transverse recess or the corresponding transverse slot 34 or 37 on the connecting element 18 as held between two scissor arms is. The further pin 33 then lies within the transverse slot 34 or 37 on the one hand and inside a hook-shaped recess 41 of the hook section 39 of the pivot bolt 35 on the other hand.

The already mentioned locking lever arrangement 20 has a locking lever 21 which is pivotably mounted on the left edge of the wing in FIGS on. With regard to the design of the locking latch 23, reference is made to FIGS. 8 and 9. Together with FIG. 5, these figures show that both the locking part 22 of the locking lever 21 and the associated receiving groove 42 of the locking latch 23 have inclined surfaces 43, 44 facing one another, which both close and open the leaf 10 against the action of an elastic one Sealing strip - for example sealing strip 24 in Figure 2 - between wing edge or frame 14, 15 and frame 12 lighten. In the embodiment shown, the closing lever 21 is designed as an angle lever,
the shorter arm defining the locking part. The handle is on the longer arm.

A special embodiment of the tilting bearing 16 embodied in the bottom left in FIGS. 1 and 3 will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7. This tilt bearing 16 can - as already mentioned - be unlocked if necessary. It includes one
About the lower in Fig. 1 and 3 wing corner projecting journal and an associated locking bolt 45, which can be moved up and down on the frame 12, and is slidably mounted and has a downwardly open groove 46, in the downwardly moved position of the locking bolt 45 engages the journal not shown here to form the tilt bearing 16. The locking bolt 45 can preferably be raised against the effect of its own weight. For this purpose, it has an inwardly projecting projection 47 which can be gripped by a finger, so that the locking bolt can be moved or moved upward against its own weight. The corresponding tilting bearing 16 is then released and the wing 10 can be pivoted about the vertical axis 19 with appropriate fixing of the connecting element 18 at the upper edge of the wing. The locking bolt 45 is guided on the frame 12 in a longitudinally displaceable manner. For this purpose, the closing element 45 has an elongated hole 48 through which a guide pin 50 arranged on the inside of the frame 12 extends. This is shown in Figure 6 as a guide screw. The up and down movement of the locking bolt 45 is indicated in FIGS. 1 and 3 by a double arrow 49. The locking bolt 45 has two grooves 46 which are arranged diametrically to one another, the one groove being open at the top and the other groove being open at the bottom. This embodiment allows the locking bolt 45 to be used on both the left and the right side of the window.

At this point it should be pointed out again that the described Tilt & turn hardware not only suitable for windows, especially basement windows is, but also for simple door fans or the like.

FIGS. 11 and 12 show a tilt and turn basement window of the type described, in FIG. 11 the window including the frame 12 being fitted into an already existing steel frame 52. This eliminates all side work when inserting the window. It is no longer necessary to open and plaster the masonry. Between the steel frame 52 and the frame 12, a protective screen 53 is fitted, namely
with the interposition of circumferential sealing strips 54, 55.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 12, the frame sits on a lower one Rectangular profile 56. A protective grille 53 is also provided here, which follows has fastening tabs 57 projecting on the inside, so that the protective grid 53 on the inside either on the frame 10 assigned frame 12 or together can be attached with this in the masonry (or alternatively on a frame) is. In Figure 12, the screw connection mentioned is indicated at 58.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 13, the protective grille is attached 53 also by means of inwardly projecting fastening tabs 57, specifically on a sheet metal frame 59 arranged upstream of the cellar window 11 Sheet metal frame 59 connected to a box made of wood and / or plastic material. This is identified in FIG. 13 by the reference number 60. insofar is a kind of composite frame, namely frame made of metal on the one hand and wood material on the other.

The lower edge of the frame 12 comprises a water channel 61 on the inside, through at least one bore 62 leading outwards or corresponding one Pipe is drainable. Drainage takes place through the frame 12 through. The water channel 61 is preferably followed by an L-profile 63 limited inside.

  4. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to Claim 3, characterized in that the locking latch (45) can be raised into an unlocked position, against the action of its own weight.
  5. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the connecting element (18) between the frame (12) and the upper casement corner is a flat profile made of metal or plastic and incorporating a longitudinal slot (31) through which projects a guide peg (32), in particular in the form of a guide screw, that is disposed at the upper casement edge (14) and has a head that extends laterally beyond the guide slot (31).
  6. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to Claim 5, characterized in that at the upper casement edge (14) another peg (33) is disposed, which engages a transverse recess (transverse slot 34 or 37) at the free end of the connecting element (18) in order to fix the connecting element (18) to the upper casement edge (14), and which can be retained therein by means of a blocking latch mounted on the connecting element (18), in particular a pivotable latch (35).
  7. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to Claim 6, characterized in that at the free end of the connecting element (18) are formed two transverse apertures (transverse slots 34, 37) disposed opposite one another with respect to its long axis but displaced from one another in the direction of the long axis, between which a pivotable latch (35) is pivotably mounted such that it can retain the additional peg (33) in either the one transverse aperture (34) or the other transverse aperture (35), depending on whether the mounting is attached at the left or the right.
  8. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to Claim 7, characterized in that the pivotable latch (35) comprises a hook section (39) that encloses the additional peg (33), so that if the additional peg (33) is needed, it can be retained between the hook section and the corresponding transverse aperture (34 or 37) on the connecting element (18), as though it were caught between the two handles of scissors.
  9. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the lower swivel-and-tilt bearing (17) is formed on one hand by a bearing peg with head, in particular in the form of a bearing screw (25) with screw head (26), that projects downward from the lower casement corner, and on the other hand by a bearing body (27) that is attached to the frame (12) and has an aperture (28) that opens downward, such that the edge (29) of the aperture has a somewhat funnel-like shape towards the interior and also towards the exterior, so that the head (26) of the bearing peg or the bearing screw (25) is retained within the bearing aperture (28) in such a way that the associated bearing peg or bearing screw (25) will not be hindered in tilting out of the plane of the window (30), with substantially no play in the relative rotational movement about the vertical axis (19).
  10. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the closing-lever arrangement (20) comprises a closing lever (21) pivotably mounted on the casement edge (15) and a closure catch (23) with at least one groove-like receptacle (42) for the locking part (22) of the closing lever (21).
  11. Swivel-and-tilt mounting according to Claim 10, characterized in that both the locking part (22) of the closing lever (21) and the associated receptacle groove (42) of the closure trap (23) comprise slanted surfaces (43, 44) facing towards one another, which facilitate both closing and opening of the casement (10) against the action of an elastic sealing strip (24) between the casement edge or frame (14, 15) and the window frame (12).
  12. Swivel-and-tilt casement with a swivel-and-tilt mounting according to one or more of the claims 1 to 11.
  13. Window, in particular basement window, in particular with a swivel-and-tilt casement (10) according to Claim 12, characterized in that there is associated therewith a protective grating (53) that comprises inwardly projecting fixation tabs (57), so that the protective grating (53) on its inner side can be attached either to the frame (12) associated with the casement (10) or, together therewith, can be fixed in the masonry or alternatively to a separate frame (59).
  14. Window, in particular basement window, according to Claim 13, characterized in that the lower edge of the frame (12) comprises on its inner side a gutter (61) from which water can be drained through at least one outwardly directed bore or conduit (62).
  15. Window according to Claim 14, characterized in that the gutter (61) is bounded on its inner side by an L profile (63).
