Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a label having at least two superimposed information carrier with graphic or alphanumeric characters, also an at least partially transparent cover which rests on the uppermost information carrier and the information carrier in a parallel to the information carrier level in at least one spatial direction projects beyond two sides , An adhesive layer which at least partially covers the information carrier projecting part of the cover on the information carrier side facing the cover so that the information carrier can be fixed below the cover on the pad by sticking the cover to a substrate, and the graphic or alphanumeric Signs on the top information carrier are visible through the cover.
Containers with pharmaceutical products are usually provided with different, characterizing the content information, which is usually done by donating printed labels. A distinction must be made here between information which remains the same for a large number of containers, for example product name, active ingredient of the preparation contained and filling quantity, and information which changes from batch to batch - possibly even from container to container - for example batch number, filling date , Test number etc.
If the pharmaceuticals are to be marketed in different countries, the information must be available in the respective national language. When using conventional labels, this means that it must already be known when labeling in which country the container to be labeled is to be placed on the market. Are containers of a batch for different countries they must each be labeled differently and packed, stored or forwarded separately immediately after labeling, to ensure that they are supplied to the distribution channels appropriate to their country of destination, and that containers, which are not labeled in Dutch, are inadvertently shipped to Italy. This means a considerable logistical effort.
An alternative to the procedure described is a multilingual print. However, since the area available for labeling is limited, limits are placed on smaller size vials and ampoules, especially for single-layer labels. If conventional multilayer labels, such as so-called booklet labels or sealed leaflets, as disclosed, for example, in EP 0 232 054, EP 0 304 242 and US Pat. No. 5,776,716, are used, then there is the problem that the same printed side of the booklet or leaflet always remains on the sheet Container is visible, since this is glued in conventional design with the back of a transparent cover, which projects beyond the booklet or leaflet and fixed on the container. This has the consequence that one must give preference in the container marking either a language, or only a fraction of the relevant information in a national language is clearly visible on the container surface, since the printable area of the overhead page is divided into several languages ,
The batch or container-specific information is usually a combination of numbers, such as shelf life data or batch numbers, which are independent of the respective national language. Only the accompanying explanatory text, for example "usable until:", which makes interpretation possible, must be available in the appropriate language. If you want to establish a clear relationship between Ziffemkombination and related explanation, so both should be arranged in a correspondingly small distance from each other, ie best be directly next to or below each other. This means for the use of a booklet label of the above type in which each printed page carries text in a different language, that the batch or container specific information must be printed on each page. Since usually initially container labels with non-batch or container-specific information in large edition printed and kept, the batch or container-specific information is then printed just before labeling in subsequent text gaps, here decreases the efficiency of booklet labels of the type described.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a label that is suitable for highly visible labeling of a container in a particular language from a number of different languages, without having to be already known in labeling, which of the different languages is intended for labeling , Both container-specific and batch-specific as well as container or batch-unspecific information should serve the marking, and the label should still be so changeable after dispensing on a container that the container or batch-specific information in connection readable with illustrative container or batch-unspecific information of the designated language for the language are arranged.
This object is achieved by a label according to claim 1, which has at least two superimposed information carrier with graphic or alphanumeric characters, also an at least partially transparent cover which rests on the uppermost information carrier and the information carrier in a direction parallel to the information carrier level in at least one spatial direction projects beyond two sides, an adhesive layer which at least partially covers the information carrier projecting part of the cover on the side facing the information carrier side of the cover so that the information carrier can be fixed below the cover on the pad by sticking the cover on a base, and the graphic or alphanumeric characters on the uppermost information carrier are visible through the cover, wherein at least the uppermost information carrier is at least partially removable from its initial position so that the graphic or alphanumeric characters of one of the respective underlying information carriers become visible through the cover. In this case, the cover has graphic or alphanumeric elements that are connected to the graphical or alphanumeric characters on the information carriers correspond so that an interpretable together with the respectively visible through the cover graphic or alphanumeric characters information and that the information carrier on one side superior part of the cover for the removal of Informationsträgem of the pad is detachable and re-attachable ,
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the information carrier parts of a continuous, folded strip of material and connected to each other via folds so that after removal of the uppermost information carrier from its original position, so that the graphic or alphanumeric characters of each of the underlying information carrier visible through the cover, the original top information carrier comes to rest in a position that originally occupied one of the other information carriers. Advantageously, a piece of carrier material is integrally formed on the lowermost of the information carrier, which is connected via a fold with the lowermost of the information carrier and has a second adhesive layer on its underside.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the present invention, the information carriers are bound together in the manner of a booklet, wherein the binding is preferably an adhesive bond. Advantageously, the lowermost of the bound information carrier is adhered to a piece of carrier material which has a second adhesive layer on its underside.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the piece of carrier material projects beyond the information carrier in a plane parallel to the information carrier in at least one spatial direction and the information carrier superior part of the carrier material is bonded to a portion of the information carrier superior part of the cover.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention, the pad is the lateral surface of a cylindrical or prismatic vessel.
Preferably, in this case the dimensions of the label are chosen so that the information carrier on one side superior part of the cover at least partially overlaps the information carrier to the opposite side of the cover in the adhered to the base state, wherein preferably at the overlap in glued State underlying, the information carrier to one side superior part of the cover on its upper side siliconized or pretreated in any other way, so that the overlapping in the glued state overhead, the information carrier to the other side superior part of the cover for the removal of information carriers detachable and again is stickable.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention, a detachable, printed slip portion is integrally formed on the cover.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the present invention, the information carriers have a perforation on which the part of each information carrier having graphical or alphanumeric characters can be torn off.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the graphic or alphanumeric characters on each of the information carriers each give a text of the same factual content in a language different from the respective other information carriers. Thus, the label for identifying an object to which it is pasted can serve in a particular language by removing all information carriers which are above the one carrying the text in the desired language.
As already stated, the present invention is particularly suitable for labeling medicament containers.
Preferably, the label is arranged on a support made of release material, from which it can be detached and dispensed onto the substrate.
Further embodiments, features and advantages of the present invention are described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4b, by means of which exemplary embodiments of the present invention illustrated schematically in an exemplary form are illustrated. In Fig.1a a label according to the invention is shown in Überrundumausführung in glued on a
For the sake of clarity, the booklet is shown in Fig.1a narrow in relation to the circumference of the
The lowermost side 1d of the booklet is mounted on a piece of

Durch Entnahme der ursprünglich obersten Bookletseite 1a ändert sich demnach die Sprache der Beschriftung des Behälters 5, nicht jedoch der chargenspezifische Datenaufdruck 6.1b shows the label from Fig.1a after removal of the top information carrier 1a, so that now the

If pharmaceuticals are to be marketed in different countries, the container information must be available in the respective national language. The present invention offers pharmaceutical companies the advantage that in labeling it is not yet necessary to know in which country the respective containers to be labeled are to be placed on the market, since the language of the visible information can be easily changed after labeling without affecting batch-specific imprints become. Since many pharmaceuticals are commercially marketed worldwide in many millions of containers per year, this offers a considerable market for products according to the invention.
