Es ist die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Etikett bereitzustellen, das eine größere Beschriftungsfläche für Informationen zur Kennzeichnung eines Flüssigkeitsbehälters (insbesondere eines Behälters für eine Medikamentenflüssigkeit) besitzt. Ferner soll das Etikett trotz der größeren Beschriftungsfläche mit einem geringerem Arbeits- und Kostenaufwand herstellbar sein. Zugleich soll das Etikett so beschaffen sein, dass relevante Informationen durch das medizinische Fachpersonal, insbesondere in der Hektik des medizinischen Arbeitsalltags besser wahrgenommen werden.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch ein Etikett zum Aufkleben auf einen Behälter für eine Medikamentenflüssigkeit gemäß den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Etikett bereitgestellt, das, obwohl es deutlich mehr Beschriftungsfläche zur Unterbringung der textlichen, grafischen und/oder symbolischen Kennzeichnungselemente bietet, als einlagiges Etikett, d.h. aus nur einer einzigen Materiallage gebildet ist. Insbesondere ist das Vorratsetikett anders als bei mehrlagigen Etiketten nicht in Form einer aufgeklebten zusätzlichen weiteren Materiallage oder Folie vorgesehen, sondern bildet einen integralen Bestandteil des Etiketts bzw. seiner Materiallage. Das Vorratsetikett ist durch eine umgebende Perforierung, Stanzlinie oder sonstige Schwächungslinie (bzw. durch viele Schwächungselemente, die entlang einer Sollrißlinie angeordnet sind) in dem Material des einlagigen Überrundumetiketts von dem umgebenden Rest des (Mutter-)Etiketts getrennt.
Da das Etikett einlagig ist, entfällt von vornherein der zur Herstellung mehrlagiger Etiketten anfallende Zusatzaufwand. Durch die Beschränkung auf nur eine Materiallage wird die Bereitstellung ausreichend großer Beschriftungsflächen allerdings zunächst erschwert.
Das erfindungsgemäße Etikett ist allerdings als Überrundumetikett ausgebildet, d. h. es besitzt eine auf den zu kennzeichnenden Behälter abgestimmte Länge, die einem Mehrfachen des Umfangs des zu etikettierenden Behälters entspricht. Ein solches Etikett wird umlaufend auf die Außenfläche des Behälters aufgeklebt.
Hierbei würde man erwarten, dass das Vorratsetikett an dem in Umfangsrichtung äußersten Etikettenende als abstehende Fahne ausgebildet und somit leicht greifbar und abreißbar ist. Claims (11)
- A label (1) for adhesive attachment to a container (20) for a medicinal liquid,- the label (1) being a single-layer overlapping wrap-around label intended for wrapping around a circumference (U) of a container (20) and having exactly one single material web,- the label (1) comprising a first label portion (11) and a middle, second label portion (12) as well as a third label portion (13) which are arranged in consecutive fashion in a longitudinal direction (L) of the label (1),- the second label portion (12) comprising a supply label (10) forming a severable sub-section of the label (1), the supply label (10) being made from the same single material web as the surrounding, remaining label area of the label (1),- the first label portion (11) being intended for covering the supply label (10),- the supply label (10) having its rear side formed so as to be non-adhesive in a first surface section (7) and, in a further, second surface section (8) which is arranged to be closer to the first label portion (11) than the first surface section (7) is, having its rear side formed so as to be adhesive and- the supply label (10) extending as far as to exactly one of two outer edges (14) of the label (10), in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L) of the label, and being surrounded on three sides by a perforation, punched line or any other weakening line (6) or predetermined tear line.
