Die Erfindung betrifft ein mehrlagiges Etikett gemäß der im Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 genannten Art. Dieses Etikett dient zur Anbringung auf einem zylinderförmigen Produkt und weist auf seiner von außen sichtbaren oberen Lage ein Informationsfeld auf. Die verschiedenen Lagen des Etikettes sind über permanente und lösbare Klebeverbindungen derartig miteinander verbunden, dass das Etikett mit Hilfe eines Öffnungsmittels geöffnet werden kann, um weitere Informationsfelder, welche sich auf der oder den Rückseiten der geöffneten Lage bzw. Hierdurch kann es geschehen, dass z.B. beim Transport der mit dem Etikett versehenen Gebinde das Etikett ab- oder einreißt und führt darüber hinaus auch zu einem weniger ansprechenden optischen Gesamteindruck, da schnell der Eindruck entstehen kann, dass das Etikett nicht ordentlich und komplett auf dem Produkt angebracht ist. Bei der Verwendung dieses Etiketts als Nassleimetikett baut sich der Bereich der Falz jedoch auf, was Probleme im Etikettierer mit sich bringt, da bei dem gefalteten Etikett keine Planlage in der Vorratskassette gegeben ist. Auch müssen die Grundlage und die Decklage so aus dem gleichen Material hergestellt werden. Bei separat angeordneten Lagen können hierfür unterschiedliche Materialien Verwendung finden, so dass beispielsweise die untere oder Grundlage aus einem preiswerteren Material bestehen kann, was Vorteile mit sich bringt. Des Weiteren wird auch nicht beschrieben, wie ein Etikett aus mehr als zwei Lagen aufgebaut sein könnte. Die EP 1 594 106 B1 und die EP 2 908 304 A1 beschreiben jeweils zwei- bzw. mehrlagige Etiketten. Um diese Etiketten auch auf zylinderförmigen Produkten und Gebinden anzubringen, weisen die Etiketten im Bereich ihrer unteren Lage jeweils eine Aussparung auf, um die Verdrängung, die bei der Umschlingung des zylinderförmigen Produktes auftritt, zu kompensieren.
