Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Walzwerk zum Walzen von Draht oder Feineisen, bei dem die Walzgerüste der Vor- und Zwischenstraße, aufeinanderfolgend abwechselnd horizontale - und vertikale - Walzenpaare aufweisen. Walzwerksanlagen dieser Art (EP 0 313 930) werden durchweg mit einer Kaliberanstichfolge Oval-Rund betrieben, obgleich der Betrieb mit einer Anstichlage Oval-Oval unter anderem Vorteile bei dem Abnahme- und dem Streckungsverhalten des Walzgutstranges mit sich brächte. Der Grund für den Verzicht auf solche Vorteile ist darin zu suchen, daß die Betriebsweise mit einer Kaliberfolge Oval-Rund es erlaubt, mit der Walzenstraße Walzgutstränge unterschiedlicher Runddurchmessergrößen zu walzen, indem der Walzgutstrang innerhalb der Walzenstraße in einer mehr oder weniger großen Anzahl der vorhandenen Walzgerüste geformt wird und, nachdem die gewünschte Rundabmessung erreicht worden ist, die folgenden Walzgerüste der Straße ohne weitere Formbeeinflussung durchläuft und der Weiterverarbeitung zugeführt werden kann.The invention relates to a rolling mill for rolling wire or fine iron, in which the rolling stands of the roughing and intermediate lines, successively alternately have horizontal - and vertical - pairs of rollers. Erfindungsgemäß können weiter das eine und das andere Kaliber eines Walzenpaares durch axiale Querverschiebung der Walzen in die Walzlinie und aus dieser heraus bringbar sein, oder auch durch Querverschiebung der Walzgerüste selbst.
