Abstract

The invention concerns a liquid product dispenser comprising a reservoir (R1, R2) provided, in its upper part, with a discharge orifice (V) closed by an intake valve (a) and emerging into a metering chamber (10) with variable volume communicating via an exhaust valve (e) with an discharge conduit (c) provided in the dispensing head (T). The invention is characterised in that said metering chamber (10) is delimited by the wall of a bellows (1) at least partly elastically deformable.

Description

The present invention relates to a product distributor liquids.

There are already a large number of distributors of the type comprising a reservoir provided at the top with an orifice outlet closed by an intake valve and opening into a variable volume metering chamber communicating via a valve exhaust with an ejection duct arranged in a distribution.

However, in these distributors, the volume variations of the dosing chamber and the necessary compression of the product which occupies for ejection are obtained by means of a piston working axially in said chamber. This piston cooperates generally with elastic return means in the form of one or several metal coil springs.

Furthermore, the respective structures of each of the valves are notably distinct from the fact that the intake valve works without constraint unlike the exhaust valve which is subject to him to the strong pressures prevailing in the room and which therefore works at the way of a valve.

In addition, according to a simple and widely used embodiment, the intake valve has a metal ball in contact with the product.

As a result, traditional distributors are composite because they have both metal parts and plastics, which poses manufacturing, assembly and recycling and presents risks of deterioration of product qualities.

More specifically, the invention relates to a dispenser comprising a reservoir provided, in the upper part, with an orifice outlet located at the end of a cylindrical socket closed by a inlet valve and opening into a metering chamber variable volume delimited by the wall of a bellows at least partially elastically deformable communicating via an exhaust valve housed in a collar extending said chamber with an ejection duct formed in a distribution head, the movable elements of the valve intake and exhaust valve being identical.

Document WO 97/42124 discloses a distributor of this type,
wherein the movable elements of the intake and exhaust valves move in translation for the distribution of the product contained in the tank, their strokes being limited by stops. The mounting of the intake valve and the exhaust valve therefore does not take into account the fact that these two valves are subjected to different stresses during the operation of the distributor.

The present invention aims to improve this state of the art, while using a single easily recyclable constituent material.

This goal is achieved thanks to the fact that the height of the socket which receives the intake valve is less than the height of the collar that receives the exhaust valve, so that the movable element of the valve exhaust is mounted under constraints while the movable element of the inlet valve has little freedom of translation.

According to a specific embodiment, each of said valves has a tapered and elastically sealing capsule deformable extended by snap lugs delimiting between them channels for the passage of the product.

According to another variant, said tank is equipped with a flange whose side wall guides the dispensing head and its upper edge retaining said head.

Preferably, the bellows is fixed to the upper part of the tank.

According to other characteristics, said bellows comprises a upper shoulder on which support fins stiffening carried by said head.

The dispenser of the invention has a very simple structure and ergonomic made up of a limited number of parts. It presents, in in addition, the industrial and economic advantage of being able to be realized by molding (injection or compression) using one and the same plastic material for all the constituent parts, which allows the surplus to preserve the qualities of the product.

The present invention will be better understood on reading the description which will follow accompanied by the drawings on which.

Figure 1 shows a partial sectional view of a mode of realization of the distributor of the invention.

FIGS. 2A and 2B show half-section views of the distributor inlet and outlet valves respectively Figure 1.

Figure 3 shows a sectional view of a variant of realization of the dispenser of figure 1.

Figure 4 shows a detailed perspective view of a movable element of the valve of the dispenser of FIG. 1.

The liquid product dispenser shown in the figures comprises a reservoir in one or more parts (R - figure 1 or R 1 , R 2 , R 3 - figure 3) provided, in the upper part, with a closed discharge orifice V by an intake valve a and opening into a metering chamber 10 of variable volume. The metering chamber 10 communicates, moreover, via an exhaust valve e, with an ejection conduit C formed inside a dispensing head T forming here push-button.

Chamber 10 is delimited by the wall of a bellows 1 which is at least partially elastically deformable.

The evacuation orifice V of the reservoir R, R 2 is situated at the end of a cylindrical sleeve D receiving the intake valve a and projecting into the chamber 10.

The exhaust valve e is, in turn, housed in a collar 12 integral with the bellows 1, extending the metering chamber 10 towards the high and connecting coaxially to the ejection duct C of the head T.

The reservoir R, R 2 is equipped with a collar r whose side wall guides the head T in its axial displacement. The upper edge of the collar is provided with a peripheral ring j ensuring, by cooperation with a complementary rib n, the retention of the head T on the reservoir and the locking of all the components of the distributor.

In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the head T covers the flange r from the outside while, in the variant of FIG. 3, it is the side skirt t of the head T which is engaged inside the collar r.

In this variant, a cover P is fitted externally with a slight radial tightening on the collar r.

The bellows 1 is fixed to the upper part of the tank and, more specifically, in the embodiment shown in Figure 1, at the lower part of the collar r by means of the base 13. The pressure prevailing inside the chamber 10 results in a radial thrust on the base 13 which thus strengthens the mechanical strength of the bellows 1.

The bellows 1 is preferably made with a material rigid plastic such as polypropylene.

The elbows 11 of the bellows 1 have a capacity of elastic deformation and in particular a flexibility which allows the bellows 1 to be compressed by axial support on the head T and thus to vary the chamber volume 10.

The bellows 1 also has an upper shoulder 14 on which bear stiffening fins 1 carried by the head T.

As shown in the figures, the mobile elements 2a, 2e intake and exhaust valves e are identical.

Each of these elements has a structure of the type shown in figure 4.

This structure has a sealing frustoconical capsule 21 pressing, at rest, on the respective upper ends of the socket D (Figure 2A) and the collar 12 (Figure 2B) whose profile is bevelled. The capsule 21 is extended downwards by snap lugs 22 cooperating with stops 15, b respectively provided on the wall internal upper of bellows 1 and on the lower part of sleeve D (see Figures 2A, 2B).

The pins 22 delimit between them channels 20 for the passage of the liquid product.

The height of the socket D is less than the height of the collar 12, so that the movable element 2e of the exhaust valve e is mounted under stresses, while the movable element 2a of the valve of admission has a low freedom of translation of amplitude x (see Figure 2A).

The rise of element 2a by vacuum in the chamber 10 of a height x relative to its rest position allows to release an intermediate space for product entry into chamber 10 between the beveled internal edge d of the sleeve D forming the valve seat and the outer side wall of the capsule 21. Furthermore, the capsule 21 is elastically deformable so as to allow under the effect of pressure created in chamber 10, the outlet of the liquid product by the valve exhaust e between the outer wall 210 of the capsule 21 forming valve and the beveled internal edge 120 of the collar 12 forming the seat of the valve e (see Figure 2B).

The rigidity of the collar 12 is, in addition, reinforced by the presence ejection duct C which surrounds it coaxially.

Claims (5)

  1. A dispenser of liquid products of the type comprising a reservoir (R1, R2) provided, at the upper part, with an outlet orifice (V) situated at the end of a cylindrical bush (D) sealed by an inlet valve (a) and opening into a metering chamber (10) of variable volume delimited by the wall of an at least partially resiliently deformable bellows (1) communicating via an outlet valve (e) accommodated in a neck (12) extending said chamber (10) with an ejection duct (c) formed in a distribution head (T), the mobile elements (2a, 2e) of the inlet valve (a) and of the outlet valve (e) being identical, characterised in that the height of the bush (D) which receives the inlet valve (a) is lower than the height of the neck (12) which receives the outlet valve (e), in such a way that the mobile element (2e) of the outlet valve (e) is mounted under stress while the mobile element (2a) of the inlet valve (a) exhibits slight translational freedom (X).
  2. A dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the mobile elements (2a, 2e) of the valves comprise frustoconical sealing and resiliently deformable caps (21) extended by snap lugs (22) defining between them channels (20) for passage of the product.
  3. A dispenser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said reservoir is equipped with a flange (r), whose lateral wall ensures guidance of the distribution head (T) and its upper edge ensures retention of said head (T).
  4. A dispenser according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that said bellows (1) are fixed to the upper part of the reservoir.
  5. A dispenser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said bellows (1) comprise an upper shoulder (14) on which rest the stiffening wings (1) borne by said head (T).
