The sliding between the two parts of the cursor allows the glass to pivot around an axis normal to the glass. Each cursor is guided by surface contact with a corresponding rail. The guiding of the window with respect to the rails and with respect to to a window frame is thus hyperstatic. The friction to overcome to move the glass are so important. At the end of the race, each cursor vertically exceeds the level of a referral.
