Abstract

At the forward end of the boot sole are components engaging in mating ones of the binding (10) so as to form a hinged joint. Those on the sole includes a transverse spindle parallel to the ski running surface and over which a holding component (13) of the binding fits. A hand lever (15) on the binding moves the component between the locked and free positions, and a flexible component (16) acts between the sole forward end and the binding so as to exert a return force on the boot when this lifts off the ski. <??>Corresponding locked positions of the lever define the locked and free positions of the holding component. The forward end of the latter can be coupled directly to the lever so as to be slid the and fro by it. The component passes through the flexible one and a front stop (23) on the binding for the spindle on the sole. The flexible component can be held in the binding by the hinge spindle (14) of the hand lever. A baseplate on the ski can have two lateral flanges (22) bent upwards, also a rib bent upwards to form a front stop (20) for the spindle on the boot sole.

Description

The invention relates to a cross-country or touring ski binding according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a bond is known from DE-U-93 20 530. This bond draws Robustness, good guiding properties and functionally reliable operation out. However, it is relatively expensive in construction; accordingly she is also relatively heavy built. These features, however, play for an adult bond only a minor role. The heavyweight of the known bond Accordingly, it is a particularly robust and reliable bond for extreme use. The same applies to a bond, as it is e.g. in DE-A-3919482 or DE-A-3924915.

On the other hand, the present invention is based on the object with regard to Construction effort to create significantly easier bond with a Minimum parts get along and therefore it is lightly built so they can especially suitable for children.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of Claim 1 solved, wherein structural details and developments of the Basic idea of the present invention are described in the subclaims. This applies in particular to the design proposals according to claim 2 and / or 3 or even 9.

The essence of the present invention is therefore the use of only one simple and lightweight wire hanger as the closing element of the binding. Thereby the total weight of the binding can be significantly reduced. Furthermore, one is Wire construction to external conditions, i. to the rest of the binding construction very easily customizable. At the same time nobody could imagine, as Closing element for a ski boot to use a construction element, which is so Filigree is like a wire. Surprisingly, the wire bow according to the invention but sufficiently robust.

Especially elegant, because it saves space and is therefore also lightweight Construction according to claim 3, which surprisingly fulfills the function of Flexor and Sole stop not affected.

It is also advantageous that the closing and release position of the holding element by corresponding locking positions of the handle or the actuating lever are defined, with which the holding element is coupled. That way are Closing springs and over-the-top constructions are dispensable. The construction effort can also be reduced considerably. In training the handle or the actuating lever made of plastic, a particularly lightweight construction is possible which is especially suitable for children. The inventively provided detent positions Also show a child very clearly that the bond is either in the Release or closed position is located. The child feels when operating the Handle, in which position the retaining element is located. The entire bond includes only a few parts, namely a flexor, the actuating handle, the Holding element and the binding housing or the base on which the aforementioned Elements are mounted. Preferably, this base consists of a sheet metal element, which is correspondingly shaped for fixing the handle, flexor and retaining element, in particular according to claim 5. The fixation of the flexor on the mentioned Base element can also by the aforementioned parts, namely a Operating lever or its pivot axis on the one hand and the holding element on the other hand. Separate fixatives are not required then the overall construction becomes particularly easy.

For wire bow according to the invention should be mentioned that by this in the Contrary to plate-shaped locking elements, inclusion of snow or ice within the bond is avoided, creating a permanent Functional safety is guaranteed.

To keep the retaining element securely in the closed position, are the measures provided according to claim 9. Through these measures is prevented by the Pivoting movement of the shoe heel up or corresponding rotation of the shoe-integrated joint axis that this cross-holding element not forward pushed into the shoe release position is against the locking action between Operating lever and binding housing or said base element. By the Measures according to claim 9 becomes a kind of "mousetrap" for the shoe integrated Joint axis created in the closed position of the retaining element. Also the variant will both in combination with the above binding and independently claimed.

In Figures 1 to 3 is a cross-country skiing or touring ski binding 10 in assembled state shown. This bond is used to fix a corresponding ski boot, on his front sole, especially on his front sole end in engagement elements of the binding 10 insertable complementary Engaging elements for producing a hinged connection, wherein the sole-side engaging elements one transverse to the ski longitudinal direction and approximately parellel to the sole tread extending hinge axis include. The complementary ones Engagement elements of the binding 10 are formed by a at the top of the Binding transverse to the ski longitudinal direction and parallel to the ski deck extending groove 12th for receiving the sole-side joint axis and a in the closed position of the Binding over the groove extending holding member 13, by means of one of the binding 10 around one transverse to the ski longitudinal direction and approximately parallel to the ski deck area extending axis 14 pivotally mounted actuating lever 15 of a Closed position corresponding to Figures 1 and 2 in a release position (in Figure 3 right position) and vice versa is movable. Between the front sole end of the not shown shoe and the binding 10 is a flexor 16 effective, which is a Restoring force exerts on the shoe when this with his heel from the upper side of the ski is raised. The closing and release position of the retaining element 13 is defined by corresponding locking positions of the actuating lever 15. This will be done in Connection with Figure 5 even more detailed below.

The holding element 13 is in the illustrated embodiment by a U-shaped bent wire bow formed whose free ends of the two legs accordingly FIG. 8 are each bent outwards, forming fastening pins 17; which can be inserted into corresponding receiving bores of the actuating lever. About the mounting pin 17 so the coupling of the holding element 13 takes place on Operating lever 15. The two legs of the U-shaped bent wire bracket are designated by the reference numeral 18. The connecting web has the reference numeral 19 on. The web-side end of the retaining element 13 serves to form a Swivel bearings for the shoe or sole integrated joint axis, so like the Figures 1 and 3 can be seen very well. The pivot bearing will be accordingly between the web-side end of the trained as a wire bracket holding element 13th on the one hand and the transverse groove 12 on the other hand limited or defined.

According to FIG. 9, the wire bracket serving as the retaining element 13 is shown in FIG Side view the shape of a drawn-out "Z" on, where appropriate 3 shows the positioning and articulation of the wire bracket on the actuating lever 15th such is that the joint axis of the shoe associated end or web end of the wire bow during the reciprocation of the same approximately parallel to Skideckfläche extends. For this purpose, the bending of the web end is off the base of the holding member 13 out less than the opposite Bending the free ends of the two legs 18. The first bend is preferably about 18.5 degrees while the second angulation is about 45 degrees, as shown in Figure 9. FIG. 3 shows very well that a pivoting of the actuating lever 15 about the pivot axis 14 a translational back and forth movement of the holding element 13 triggers. The Closed position of the retaining element 13 is in Figure 3 with the reference numeral 13 ' marked, while the open position is provided with the reference numeral 13 ". Accordingly, the closed position of the operating lever with the reference numeral 15 ', and the open position thereof is designated 15 " the actuating lever 15 according to Figure 3 folded approximately vertically upwards.

The holding element 13 extends through the flexor 16, which is hollow-walled is, and a binding side front stop 20 for the front of the sole Shoe arranged hinge axis through. The binding has a on the Skideckfläche mountable base plate 21 with two laterally bent upwards Cheeks 22 and one in the assembled state rear, also upwards curved edge web 23 on, as the front stop 20 for the front sole the shoe arranged hinge axis is used. The described base plate is in the Figures 6 and 7 shown separately, in plan view and in longitudinal section. The side cheeks 22 and the edge web 23 are thus out of the plane of the base plate 21st bent out. Accordingly, the base plate 21 including the cheeks 22 and the edge web 23 of a correspondingly cut stainless steel sheet or the like.

The two laterally upwardly curved cheeks 22 of the base plate 21 each have a bore 24 for receiving the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15 serve.

11).The flexor 16 is on the base plate 21 between the two lateral cheeks 22nd and the rear edge web 23 positionable, wherein the pivot axis 14 of the Operating lever 15 above the flexor 16 extends transversely across this, and although within a arranged in the flexor 16 transverse groove 25, as particularly so can be clearly seen in Figures 10 and 11. The flexor is in conventional Way hollow and made of an elastic plastic or rubber material. By the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15 of the flexor 16th held on the base plate 21. In addition serves to hold the flexor 16 on the Base plate 21 and the retaining element 13. For this purpose, the extends web-side end of the retaining element 13 by a parallel to the base plate extending slot in both the rear upwardly curved edge web 23rd the base plate 21 as well as in the associated rear end wall of the flexor 16th therethrough. The aforementioned slot in the edge web 23 is denoted by the reference numeral 26th characterized. The corresponding slot in the rear end wall of the Flexors 16 has the reference numeral 27 (see also Figure 7 and 11).

Corresponding to FIG. 12, the flexor has the shape of an "I" in plan view, with the FIG a crosspiece is wider than the other. The above description and also Figure 3 shows very well that the flexor 16 exclusively by the Retaining element 13 and the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15 is held. Accordingly, these two aforementioned components each have one Double function on.

In the direction seen from the ski tip from behind the transverse groove 12 closes as part of the shoe pivot bearing a component with two at a distance from each other and themselves in each case in the longitudinal direction extending guide ribs 28, which with corresponding guide grooves on the underside of the outsole of the not shown Ski boots correspond. The guide grooves are called "crocodile" grooves educated. Since these guide grooves are known per se Component acts, a more detailed description is unnecessary at this point.

Of particular interest is that for the formation of the pivot bearing for the shoe or sole integrated joint axis serving end of the holding element 13, namely the web-side end thereof in the closed position, the joint axis cross-section a parallel to the hinge axis extending recess or Recess 29 has, so that when pivoting the shoe heel against the effect of the flexor 16 no or only a minor force component in the opening direction of the Halteelments 13 and in the direction forward to this is applied. Through the recess 29, which integrated with the shoe or soles Joint axis also corresponds in terms of shape, the Joint axis without the risk of unintentional opening of the bond safely held in the transverse groove 12.

According to Figure 5, the locking positions of the retaining element 13 by on Actuating lever 15 laterally arranged, namely molded locking projections or Locking nubs 30 and 31 on the one hand and on the lateral cheeks 22 of the base plate 21st arranged recesses or the front and / or rear boundary 32nd or 33 of the lateral cheeks 22 on the other defined. The the latching nubs 31st associated recess in the associated side wall 22 is shown in Figure 5 with the reference numeral 34 indicated. FIG. 5 shows the interaction of the latching nub 31 with the latching recess 34 for fixing the actuating lever 15 in the closed position. The interaction of the locking knobs 30 with the front and rear Limit 32, 33 of the lateral cheek 22 serves to fix the open position, the is shown in FIG. The actuating lever 15 is preferably made of plastic made, so that the Anformung the locking knobs 30, 31 is not too expensive. The interplay of these locking knobs with the front and rear limits the lateral cheeks 22, the design effort can be additionally reduced.

In FIGS. 13 to 18, the actuating lever 15 is associated with a modified holding element 13 both in the binding open position (Figures 13 15) as well as in the ski position of the binding (FIGS. 16-18), the two legs 18 of serving as a holding element 13, approximately U-shaped bent Wire bracket are slightly spread apart in an unloaded state V-shaped, as shown in FIG. The elastic bias of the two legs 18 is indicated in Figure 17 with the double arrow 35. At least one of the two Legs 18, here both legs 18, have in the area near the binding web 19th between the two legs 18 each have an inwardly extending dent in the form of a bend 34, which in the closed state of the bond according to the figures 16-18 with the associated lateral boundary of formed in the base plate 21 elongated hole 26 through which the wire hanger 18th extends, snaps together interacts. This way is a backup, in particular additional assurance of binding in the closed position given. At the Opening the binding, d. H. when folding the operating lever 15 in the position According to Figure 13, the two legs 18 by associated inclined surfaces the inside of the actuating lever 15 against the radial bias 35th according to Figure 17 inwards, d. H. moved towards one another in accordance with the Figures 14 and 15, so that the locking connection between the bends 34 and the lateral boundary of the elongated hole 26 in the base plate 21 is released, so that the serving as a holding element 13 wire hanger without much resistance in the Moving shoe release position.
