Abstract

At the forward end of the boot sole are components engaging in mating ones of the binding (10) so as to form a hinged joint. Those on the sole includes a transverse spindle parallel to the ski running surface and over which a holding component (13) of the binding fits. A hand lever (15) on the binding moves the component between the locked and free positions, and a flexible component (16) acts between the sole forward end and the binding so as to exert a return force on the boot when this lifts off the ski. <??>Corresponding locked positions of the lever define the locked and free positions of the holding component. The forward end of the latter can be coupled directly to the lever so as to be slid the and fro by it. The component passes through the flexible one and a front stop (23) on the binding for the spindle on the sole. The flexible component can be held in the binding by the hinge spindle (14) of the hand lever. A baseplate on the ski can have two lateral flanges (22) bent upwards, also a rib bent upwards to form a front stop (20) for the spindle on the boot sole.

Description

The invention relates to a cross-country or touring ski binding according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a bond is known from DE-A-39 24 915. There is an operating lever for locking the binding by means of a sliding jaw a separate spring clip associated with the actuating lever in an over-center closed position holds. The over-center closed position is secured by the mentioned spring clip.

If there is snow, ice or other dirt between the jaw and a support element or below the spring clip must have the intermediate areas, in particular in the area of the hinge axis, first cleaned to a ensure reliable closure of the binding.

Accordingly, the present invention has the object underlying, to create a bond in the transition from the release into the closed position is easier to handle and is simple.

This object is achieved by the features of the claim 1 solved, with constructive details and advancements the basic idea of the present invention in are described in the dependent claims.

The core of the present invention is therefore that a Holding element, which serves to engage over a hinge axis and with this a hinge joint to get through a flexor and a binding side front stop for arranged on the front sole of the shoe hinge axis extends. This will be a shift of the holding element achieved in that it with his one, namely the front end, directly on the handle or is articulated on the actuating lever, such that a pivoting the handle or the actuating lever in one translational reciprocating movement of the holding element implemented is.

Constructive details and further developments of the basic idea The present invention is defined in the subclaims described. This applies in particular to the design proposal according to claim 8, which is also independent of the rest Binding construction claimed as an inventive contribution becomes.

The closing and release position of the retaining element are through corresponding latching positions of the handle or the actuating lever defined, with which the retaining element is coupled. In this way are closing springs and over-the-top constructions dispensable. The design effort can be Significantly reduce. In training the operating lever Plastic is a particularly lightweight construction possible, which is currently available for children. The invention provided detent positions also show a child very much clearly indicates that the bond can be found either in the release or closed position. The child feels at the operation of the actuating lever, in which position the retaining element located. The entire binding involves only a few Parts, namely a flexor, the operating lever together Swivel axis, the holding element and the binding housing or the base on which the aforementioned elements are mounted. Preferably, this base consists of a sheet metal element, the for fixing the operating lever, flexor and retaining element is shaped accordingly, in particular according to claim 3. The Fixation of the flexor takes place on the aforementioned base element also by the aforementioned parts, namely the operating lever or its pivot axis on the one hand and the retaining element on the other hand. Separate fixatives are also included not required, which makes the overall construction special becomes easy. According to claim 7, the holding element is by a U-shaped bent wire formed. Also this embodiment contributes to the reduction of the total weight.

In addition, by the wire bracket as opposed to plate-shaped Locking elements include snow and Ice within the bond avoided, creating a lasting Functional safety is guaranteed. This embodiment is also claimed as an independent design variant.

In order to hold the retaining element securely in the closed position, the measures are provided according to claim 8. Through this Measures are prevented by the pivoting movement of the Shoe heel up or corresponding rotation of the shoe-integrated joint axis that this cross-holding element not pushed forward in the shoe release position is contrary to the locking action between the operating lever and binding housing or the mentioned base element. By the Measures according to claim 8 becomes a kind of "mousetrap" for the shoe-integrated hinge axis in the closed position of the retaining element created. The variant is also combined with the above-described binding as well as claimed independently.

For this purpose, in conjunction with Figure 5 even more detailed below.

The holding element 13 is in the illustrated embodiment formed by a U-shaped bent wire hanger whose free ends of the two legs according to Figure 8 respectively bent outward to form mounting pins 17, in corresponding receiving bores of the actuating lever are pluggable. About the mounting pin 17 Thus, the coupling of the holding element 13 takes place on the actuating lever 15. The two legs of the U-shaped bent Wire hangers are identified by the reference numeral 18. Of the Connecting web has the reference numeral 19. The bridge side End of the retaining element 13 serves to form a pivot bearing for the shoe or sole integrated joint axis, see above as can be seen in Figures 1 and 3 very well. The Swivel bearing is accordingly between the web-side End of the trained as a wire bracket retaining element 13 on the one hand and the transverse groove 12, on the other hand, defines or defines.

According to FIG. 9, the serving as the holding element 13 Wire hanger in side view the shape of an elongated "Z" on, according to Figure 3, the positioning and articulation of the wire bracket on the actuating lever 15 so is that the joint axis of the shoe associated with the end or Bridge end of the wire bow during the reciprocation of the same extends approximately parallel to the ski deck. To this Purpose is the bending of the web end from the base of the holding member 13 out less than the opposite Bending the free ends of the two legs 18. The first Angulation is preferably about 18.5 degrees, while the second bend is about 45 degrees, as shown in FIG 9 is shown. The figure 3 can be seen very well, that a pivoting of the actuating lever 15 about the pivot axis 14 a translational reciprocating movement of the holding element 13 triggers. The closed position of the holding element 13 is indicated in Figure 3 by the reference numeral 13 ', while the open position is provided with the reference numeral 13 ". Accordingly, the closed position of the operating lever with the reference numeral 15 ', and the open position of the same with 15 "in the open position is the operating lever 15 according to Figure 3 folded approximately vertically upwards.

The holding element 13 extends through the flexor 16, the hollow-walled, and a binding side front Stop 20 for the arranged on the front sole of the shoe Joint axis through. The binding has one on the ski deck Mountable base plate 21 with two side up bent cheeks 22 and one in the assembled state rear, also upwardly bent edge web 23 on, as the front Stop 20 for the arranged on the front sole of the shoe Joint axis is used. The described base plate is in Figures 6 and 7 shown separately, in plan view and in longitudinal section. The side cheeks 22 and the edge bar 23 are thus bent out of the plane of the base plate 21 out. Accordingly, the base plate 21 including the cheeks 22 and the edge web 23 of a correspondingly tailored Stainless steel or the like can be produced.

The two laterally upwardly curved cheeks 22 of the base plate 21 each have a bore 24 for receiving serve the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15.

11).The flexor 16 is on the base plate 21 between the two lateral cheeks 22 and the rear edge web 23 positionable, wherein the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15th above the flexor 16 extends transversely across this, and Although within a flexor 16 arranged transverse groove 25, so as can be seen particularly clearly from FIGS. 10 and 11. The flexor is hollow in a conventional manner and consists of an elastic plastic or rubber material. By the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15 is the flexor 16 is held on the base plate 21. additionally also serves to hold the flexor 16 on the base plate 21 Holding element 13. For this purpose, the web-side extends End of the retaining element 13 by a parallel to the base plate extending slot in both the rear to curved top web 23 of the base plate 21 and in the associated rear end wall of the flexor 16 therethrough. The mentioned slot in the edge web 23 is denoted by the reference numeral 26 marked. The corresponding slot in the back End wall of the flexor 16 has the reference numeral 27th on (see also Figure 7 and 11).

According to FIG. 12, the flexor has the shape in plan view an "I", wherein the one crosspiece is formed wider as the other one. The above description and also the figure 3 Let's see very well that the Flexor 16 is exclusive by the holding element 13 and the pivot axis 14 of the actuating lever 15 is held. Accordingly, they have two aforementioned components each have a dual function on.

In the direction seen from the tip of the ski, it is closed behind the transverse groove 12 as part of the shoe pivot bearing a component with two at a distance from each other and each in the ski longitudinal direction extending guide ribs 28, which with corresponding Guide grooves on the underside of the outsole of the not shown ski boot correspond. The guide grooves are designed as so-called "crocodile" grooves. Since these guide grooves are known per se Component acts, is unnecessary to a more detailed description this place.

Of particular interest is the fact that the training of the Swivel bearings for the shoe or sole integrated joint axis serving end of the holding element 13, namely the web-side End of the same in the closed position, the hinge axis cross point a parallel to the hinge axis extending recess or recess 29, so that when swinging the shoe heel against the effect of Flexors 16 no or an insignificant force component in the opening direction of the Halteelments 13 and in the direction of is applied to the front of this. Through the recess 29, the with the shoe or sole integrated joint axis also in terms of shape, the hinge axis becomes without the risk of unintentional opening of the binding safely held in the transverse groove 12.

According to Figure 5, the locking positions of the retaining element 13 by the actuating lever 15 laterally arranged, namely molded locking projections or locking knobs 30 and 31 on the one hand and arranged on the lateral cheeks 22 of the base plate 21 Notches or the front and / or rear boundary 32 and 33 of the lateral cheeks 22 on the other defined. The latching nubs 31 associated with the recess in the associated side wall 22 is in Figure 5 with the reference numeral 34 indicated. In Figure 5, the interaction of the Locking nub 31 with the recess 34 for fixing the operating lever 15 in the closed position. The interaction of the Locking nubs 30 with the front and rear limits 32, 33rd the lateral cheek 22 serves to fix the open position, which is shown in FIG. The operating lever 15 is preferably made of plastic, so that the Anformung the locking knobs 30, 31 is not too expensive. In interaction These locking knobs with the front and rear limits the lateral cheeks 22 can be the design effort additionally reduce.

In FIGS. 13 to 18, the actuating lever 15 is associated to a modified holding element 13 both in the binding open position (Figures 13-15) and in the ski position the binding (Figures 16-18), wherein the two legs 18 serving as a holding element 13, approximately U-shaped bent wire bracket in unloaded condition slightly V-shaped spread apart, as shown in FIG 18 is shown. The elastic bias of the two Leg 18 is indicated in Figure 17 with the double arrow 35. At least one of the two legs 18, here both legs 18, have in the area near the binding web 19 between the two legs 18 each one extending inwardly Dent in the form of a bend 34, which in the closed Condition of the binding according to Figures 16 - 18 with the associated lateral boundary of the base plate in the 21st trained long hole 26 through which the wire hanger 18th extends, snaps together interacts. In this way is a backup, especially additional backup of Binding in the closed position given. When opening the binding, d. H. when folding the operating lever 15 in the position According to Figure 13, the two legs 18 are assigned by Sloping surfaces on the inside of the operating lever 15 against the radial bias 35 according to FIG 17 after inside, d. H. moved towards each other in a position, according to the Figures 14 and 15, so that the locking connection between the Bends 34 and the lateral boundary of the slot 26th lifted in the base plate 21, so that the as a holding element 13 serving wire hanger without much resistance in the Moving shoe release position.
