- A stairstep nosing comprising a section (20, 20', 20" ; 200) made from a set square shaped stiff material with a front wing (21 ; 210) and a rear wing (22 ; 220), and a stairstep fastening rail (10, 10', 10" ; 100) to which said section is mounted, characterised in that the rail comprises a rear edge, on the stair step, provided with lip shaped fastening means (13 ; 130) cooperating with a groove (23 ; 230) on the section, and a wing (11 ; 110) on the riser provided with a fastening means (11A, 11 B, 11C ; 111) cooperating with front fastening means (12A, 12B, 12C ; 211) of the section, characterised in that the fastening means of the wing (11A, 11B, 11C ; 111) and the front fastening means (12A, 12B, 12C ; 211) of the section are formed with ridges (11A, 11B, 11C, 12A, 128, 12C) respectively, cooperating with one another, for enabling force fit.
- The stairstep nosing according to the preceding claim, wherein the section comprises at least one element (30, 30') with an antiskid surface.
- The stairstep nosing according to the preceding claim, wherein the section (20) and the element (30) with an antiskid surface are made of plastics and of a co-extruded type.

- The stairstep nosing according to any of claims 1 to 8, wherein said fastening means to the wing (110) of the rail and the wing (210) of the section are provided with grooves (111, 211), respectively, cooperating with each other.
