Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Fächer mit einem faltbaren elastischen Rahmen (1), durch den eine Bespannung (2) aufgespannt ist. Eine stabile und robuste Ausführung wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Enden des elastischen Rahmens (1) in einer Klemmhülse (4) miteinander verbunden sind. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Fächer mit einem faltbaren elastischen Rahmen, durch den eine Bespannung aufgespannt ist.
Es sind Fächer bekannt, die ein starres Fächerblatt aufweisen, was eine unhandliche Größe bedingt, oder andererseits Fächer, die aufklappbar sind, was jedoch eine wenig robuste Form ergibt. Ein solcher starrer Fächer ist beispielsweise in der US 543.252 A beschrieben.
Weiters sind aus der US 5,975.849 A oder der US 4,911.611 A Fächer mit einem elastischen Rahmen bekannt, durch den eine Bespannung aufgespannt ist. Diese Fächer können durch entsprechendes Einklappen des elastischen Rahmens in einen kompakten Zustand gebracht werden, der einen leichten Transport ermöglicht. An dem elastischen Rahmen sind ausklappbare Handgriffe befestigt, die eine zweckentsprechende Verwendung des Fächers ermöglichen. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass solche Fächer in der Praxis wenig brauchbar sind, da diese Fächer an der Verbindungsstelle zwischen den Handgriffen und dem elastischen Rahmen sehr biegeweich sind, und es daher nicht möglich ist, nennenswerte Luftbewegungen hervorzurufen.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, einen Fächer zu schaffen, der sowohl robust ist, als auch leicht zusammengelegt werden kann und dennoch eine für den Gebrauch ausreichende Stabilität und Steifigkeit aufweist.
Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die Enden des elastischen Rahmens in einer Klemmhülse miteinander verbunden sind.
Der erfindungsgemäße Fächer weist eine stabile und robuste Form auf, lässt sich einfach zusammenklappen und dadurch verkleinern und ist einfach und kostengünstig herstellbar. Der Fächer entfaltet sich aus dem zusammengeklappten Zustand selbsttätig.
Ein besonderer Vorteil der erfindungsgemäßen Lösung besteht darin, dass durch die Verbindung der Enden des elastischen Rahmens in einer Klemmhülse die Möglichkeit geschaffen wird, eine ausreichende Stabilität und Steifigkeit zu erreichen, die zur Erzielung einer entsprechenden Luftbewegung erforderlich ist.
Eine festigkeitstechnisch besonders günstige Ausbildung ist gegeben, wenn sich die Enden des elastischen Rahmens in der Klemmhülse tangential annähern. Auf diese Weise ist sichergestellt, dass der Rahmen von der Klemmhülse ausgehend zunächst konkav gekrümmt ist und in einem vorbestimmten Abstand von der Klemmhülse in eine konvexe Krümmung übergeht.
Die Funktionalität des Fächers wird insbesondere dadurch erhöht, dass die Enden des elastischen Rahmens einen Griffabschnitt bilden.
Die Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Fächers wird insbesondere dadurch wesentlich erleichtert, dass die Bespannung im Bereich des Rahmens durch eine Naht tunnelförmig ausgebildet ist und den Rahmen umgibt.
Eine besonders begünstigte Ausführungsvariante der Erfindung sieht vor, dass der Rahmen in unbelastetem, entfalteten Zustand dreidimensional gekrümmt ist. Die dreidimensionale Krümmung wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Länge der Bespannung in Längsrichtung des Fächers, d.h. von der Klemmhülse zu dem von der Klemmhülse am weitesten entfernten Punkt, dem Scheitelpunkt, etwas geringer ist als die geometrische Länge des Rahmens, die sich im unbelasteten Zustand ohne diese Bespannung einstellen würde. Auf diese Weise ergibt sich bei dem unbelasteten, bespannten Fächer eine dreidimensionale Krümmung des Rahmens und demzufolge eine dreidimensionale Krümmung der Bespannung. Durch diese räumliche Form wird eine besondere Stabilität bewirkt, die es ermöglicht, in der Praxis große Luftmengen zu bewegen.
Der Fächer kann auf einfache Weise in eingefaltetem Zustand gehalten werden, wenn im Bereich des Rahmens eine Fixierungsschlinge angebracht ist.
In der Folge wird die Erfindung anhand des in den Figuren dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Der erfindungsgemäße Fächer besteht aus einem elastischen Rahmen 1 aus einem Glasfibermaterial oder aus Federstahldraht, durch den eine Bespannung 2, beispielsweise aus textilem Material, aufgespannt ist. Die Bespannung 2 ist im Bereich des Rahmens 1 um diesen herum geführt und durch eine Naht 3 in der Form eines Tunnels 6 ausgebildet, der den Rahmen 1 aufnimmt. Die beiden Enden des Rahmens 1 nähern sich im Bereich eines Griffabschnitts 7 tangential aneinander an und sind durch eine Klemmhülse 4 fest miteinander verbunden. Bei der Ausführungsvariante von Fig. 2 ist zusätzlich eine Fixierungsschlinge 5 vorgesehen, um den Fächer im zusammengeklappten Zustand zu halten.
Die Mittellinie 8 des Fächers, die sich von der Klemmhülse 4 zum Scheitel 9 erstreckt, ist in unbelastetem Zustand gekrümmt, so dass sich eine dreidimensionale Krümmung des Rahmens 1 und damit eine entsprechende Krümmung der Bespannung 2 ergibt. Dies wird im Wesentlichen dadurch erreicht, dass die Bespannung 2 in Längsrichtung kleiner ausgeführt wird als der Rahmen 1 in unbelastetem Zustand ohne Bespannung 2. Die Fig. 3 bis 5 zeigen den Vorgang des Zusammenklappens, wobei in Fig. 3 zunächst der Griffabschnitt 7 in Richtung des Scheitels 9 gebogen und geschoben wird und schließlich durch weitere Bewegung in dieser Richtung die in den Fig. 4 und 5 dargestellten Stellungen erreicht werden. Wie aus Fig. 5 ersichtlich kann dabei durch eine Fixierungsschlinge 5 der zusammengeklappte Zustand gesichert werden.
Die vorliegende Erfindung ermöglicht es einen Fächer mit hohem Gebrauchswert einfach und kostengünstig herzustellen. Ein solcher Fächer kann beispielsweise als Werbeartikel bei großen Sport- und Kulturveranstaltungen ausgegeben werden und mit einer entsprechenden Werbeaufschrift versehen sein.

Claims (9)

  1. Fächer mit einem faltbaren elastischen Rahmen (1), durch den eine Bespannung (2) aufgespannt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Enden des elastischen Rahmens (1) in einer Klemmhülse (4) miteinander verbunden sind.
  2. Fächer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Enden des elastischen Rahmens (1) in der Klemmhülse (4) tangential annähern.
  3. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Enden des elastischen Rahmens (1) einen Griffabschnitt (7) bilden.
  4. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der elastische Rahmen (1) aus Federstahldraht besteht.
  5. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der elastische Rahmen (1) aus Fiberglas besteht.
  6. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bespannung (2) im Bereich des Rahmens (1) durch eine Naht (3) tunnelförmig ausgebildet ist und den Rahmen (1) umgibt.
  7. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Rahmen (1) in unbelastetem, entfalteten Zustand dreidimensional gekrümmt ist.
  8. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Bereich des Rahmens (1) eine Fixierungsschlinge (5) angebracht ist.
  9. Fächer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bespannung (2) aus textilem Material, Papier, tierischer Haut oder einem Gewebe besteht.
