Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions ioniques comprenant des cations [Ct]+ chargés positivement et des anions [A]- chargés négativement comprenant un élément de noyau central du groupe 13 auquel des ligands fluoroaryle sont liés, au moins l'un de ces ligands étant substitué par un groupe siloxy représenté par les symboles SiOR¿3?, R représentant un substituant hydrocarbyle ou hydrocarbylsilyle en C1-C30. [Ct]?+ ¿ représente tout cation pouvant être utilisé avec des catalyseurs de polymérisation des oléfines, et sélectionné dans le groupe généralement constitué par des cations d'anilinium et d'ammonium, des cations de trityl carbenium, des cations métalliques du groupe 11, des cations de silylium, les cations des sels hydratés des métaux du groupe 1 ou 2, et des dérivés des cations précités d'anilinium, d'ammonium, de trityl carbenium, et de silylium contenant des substituants d'hydrocarbyle, d'hydrocarbylsilyel, ou d'hydrocarbylamine en C¿1?-C20 pour au moins un atome d'hydrogène desdits cations. Les compositions ioniques décrites peuvent être utilisées pour activer des catalyseurs de polymérisation d'oléfines, et peuvent être préparées de façon à être solubles dans des solvants aliphatiques.
