Claims (5)

  1. Couvercle (1, 10, 20) de carter destiné à un moteur à combustion interne, en particulier à des coiffes de culasses cylindriques ou à des carters d'huile, en vue de la fixation au bloc-moteur (5, 13, 21) de manière amovible et étanche aux fluides, comportant une garniture d'étanchement (3, 12, 26) en élastomère située sur le rebord (2, 11) dudit couvercle (1, 10, 20) de carter, sachant qu'il est intérieurement prévu, sur ledit rebord (2, 11) dudit couvercle (1, 10, 20) de carter, un prolongement axial (7, 14) qui est orienté dans la direction du bloc-moteur (5, 13, 21) et fait saillie axialement au-delà de la surface d'étanchement (4, 15), de telle sorte que ledit couvercle de carter soit au moins adéquatement positionné, caractérisé par le fait que le prolongement (7, 14) est réalisé de manière à donner naissance à une contre-dépouille revêtant la forme d'un chanfrein (16) ; et par le fait que ledit prolongement (14) comporte, à l'extrémité axialement inférieure, un chanfrein supplémentaire (19) réalisé en sens inverse de la direction du premier chanfrein (16).
  2. Couvercle de carter selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le prolongement (14) est partiellement façonné sur le rebord (2, 11) dudit couvercle (1, 10, 20) de carter.
  3. Couvercle de carter selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le prolongement (14) est façonné périphériquement sur le rebord (2, 11) dudit couvercle (10) de carter.
  4. Couvercle de carter selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé par le fait que le prolongement (14) est façonné de telle sorte que ledit couvercle (10) de carter soit centré et coincé.
  5. Couvercle de carter selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé par le fait que le matériau constituant ledit couvercle de carter est une matière plastique.
