Definitions
- the invention relates to a base web of a packaging material made of paper, cardboard or cardboard the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
- packaging material is varied. For example, products from the furniture industry, Products from the automotive supply sector or the like by means of packaging material protected from damage.
- the packaging material essentially takes over the following protective functions. For one, it offers Packaging material to protect the packaged product external mechanical damage, for example Scratch. On the other hand, the packaging material the packaged product a shock-absorbing cushion protection available to the product before far-reaching Damage, e.g. B. caused by shock load due to improper transportation.
- the shock absorbing effect of the packaging material is due to the special shape of the packaging material or parts of the packaging material.
- the base course is the molded, shock absorbing part of the packaging material referred to as the base course.
- the Baseline is in turn often with an upper one and / or lower layer, for example made of paper, cardboard, Cardboard or the like, covered. This process, connecting the base course to other layers is also called lamination.
- the known packaging materials are distinguished or there are different properties of the packaging materials.
- the so-called corrugated cardboard a wavy embossed base course. Wavy means that alternately on the top and bottom of the base course Raises and depressions are present through unilateral Embossing, for example only in the bottom, be generated.
- This packaging material has a baseline with one from the bottom rectangular embossed pattern is.
- the embossed pattern is the shape that in the bottom rectangular depressions are embossed on the base course are accordingly on the top of the Base course form rectangular elevations. That kind of Base track with the rectangular embossed on one side
- embossing pattern is also used as embossed paper designated.
- the embossed paper has the opposite of the corrugated cardboard Advantage that elongation or smoothing of the Base web does not take place and thus the lamination process can be delayed or a lamination is not absolutely necessary.
- the embossed paper continues to prove advantageous, because both a transverse and a longitudinal fold is easy to carry out without additional measures.
- the invention has for its object a basic path a packaging material made of paper, cardboard or To further develop cardboard packaging in such a way that avoidance of the disadvantages mentioned, the damping properties of Corrugated cardboard are almost retained.
- This task is characterized by the characteristics of claim 1 in connection with its preamble features solved.
- the invention is based on the knowledge that the Arrangement of the mechanically generated recesses and resulting increases a significant Influence on the damping properties and on the Exercise dimensional stability of the base course.
- the base course is preferred with a position essentially covering the base course connected, at least increasing one side the base web connected to the layer - concealed - becomes.
- the invention Baseline a high dimensional stability. Therefore, the Laminating either with one layer or with two Layers are carried out.
- the base covering position from one Foam containing material.
- the base course with a foam-containing Material helpful, for example, a better one Protection of the packaged product against chafing or the like, sure.
- the depressions are preferably in the base course on the one hand and thus the increases on the other side introduced spherical.
- the spherical Introduction of the wells into the base course is now not just a cross fold and / or one Longitudinal folding, as was previously the case with embossed paper is feasible, but also a diagonal fold can be carried out without additional measures.
- the depressions are preferably embossed in the respective page made. Imprinting the wells proves to be advantageous as it is inexpensive and can be carried out quickly.
- the base course is dimensionally stable
- the lamination process can optionally be immediate after embossing, but also at an interval from the Embossing can be done. Because of the dimensional stability the base course, it is also possible to use one Dispense with lamination.
- the Base course minted in dry condition has the advantage of being an elaborate Drying after the embossing process is not necessary.
- embossing the base web when wet whereby preferably moistened the base web before embossing becomes.
- the paper of the base web has in particular a paper weight of at least 80 g / m 2 and the radius of the balls of the elevations and depressions introduced into the paper is preferably at least 2 mm and at most 5 mm.
- the Packaging material 10 has a base track 12 with a Top 14 and a bottom 16.
- top 14 On top 14 is another layer, the top Layer 18, and accordingly on the bottom 16 the lower Layer 20 applied.
- the base course 12 has on the top 14 and on the underside 16 both spherical ridges 22 as well as spherical depressions 24, which are alternately introduced into the base course 12.
- This alternating arrangement that is the arrangement that next to an elevation 22, a depression 24 connects, is shown schematically in Fig. 1.
- the upper layer 18 and the lower layer 20 are each only punctiform with the spherical ridges 22 glued to the top 14 and bottom 16.
- the application of these further layers 18, 20 to the Base web 12 is also referred to as lamination.
- the lamination takes place in the form that after Introducing the spherical depressions 24 and spherical ridges 22 in the base 12, this is guided over a glue roller. Then be the upper layer 18 and the lower layer 20 on the base course 12 applied. Due to the spherical design the elevations 22 are only a selective gluing the base web 12 and thus only a selective gluing between the base course 12 and the other layers 12, 14.
- Laminating the base web 12 with the top layer 18 and the lower layer 20 in the present case serves the inherent rigidity of the packaging material 10 increase.
- the lamination is however for the functionality of the packaging material 10 according to the invention is not mandatory necessary.
- FIG. 2 is the Base course 12, the upper layer 18 and the lower layer 20 along line A-A through the spherical ridges 22 and recesses 24 shown in section.
- the elevations 22 and depressions 24 are invented introduced into the base course by embossing.
- the recesses 24 in the top 14 of the Base path are made by an upper embossing roller and the depressions 24 in the underside 16 of the base track 12 generated by a lower embossing roller.
- the increases 22 result accordingly on the opposite Side of the base track 12, in which the depressions 24 were impressed.
- the present exemplary embodiment is a so-called light packaging material 10, which is used, for example, for packaging products from the metal and wood processing industry, vehicle industry and its supplier industry or the like and has a paper weight of approximately 200 g / m 2 ,
- the present case has proven to be particularly advantageous Packaging material 10 the property that due to the alternating arrangement and the spherical Design of the elevations 22 and depressions 24 in the base web 12, a simple folding of the packaging material 10 is guaranteed.
- the invention is characterized in that Introducing the elevations 22 and depressions 24 both on the top 14 and on the bottom 16 of the Base track 12 in a simple way the manufacture a packaging material 10 with damping properties similar to corrugated cardboard, this is made possible Packaging material 10, however, due to its higher Flexibility has a wider range of uses.
