Claims (4)

  1. Elément d'enregistrement par jet d'encre comprenant un support comportant sur celui-ci une couche de réception d'image poreuse comprenant au moins 50 % en poids de particules et moins de 20 % en poids d'un liant, lesdites particules comprenant un mélange de
    (a) particules inorganiques ayant une taille de particules primaires d'un diamètre de 7 à 40 nm qui sont agrégées pour fournir une taille de particules agrégées moyenne de 50 nm à 200 nm, où lesdites particules inorganiques sont de l'alumine traitée par fumée et constituant de 5 à 25 % en poids dudit mélange, et
    (b) des particules colloïdales ayant une taille de particules moyenne de 50 nm à 200 nm, où lesdites (a) particules inorganiques et lesdites (b) particules colloïdales sont chargées positivement, et où la différence entre ladite taille de particules agrégées moyenne desdites particules inorganiques et ladite taille de particules moyenne desdites particules colloïdales va jusqu'à 10 %.
  2. Elément d'enregistrement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel lesdites (b) particules colloïdales sont de l'alumine, de la boehmite, de l'alumine hydratée, du dioxyde de titane, du dioxyde de zirconium, de l'argile, du carbonate de calcium, des silicates inorganiques, du sulfate de baryum ou des particules organiques.
  3. Elément d'enregistrement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel lesdites (b) particules colloïdales comprennent de l'alumine, de la boehmite, ou de l'alumine hydratée.
  4. Procédé d'impression par jet d'encre comprenant les étapes consistant à :
    I) procurer une imprimante à jet d'encre qui répond à des signaux de données numériques,
    II) charger ladite imprimante avec l'élément d'enregistrement par jet d'encre selon la revendication 1,
    III) charger ladite imprimante avec une composition d'encre pour jet d'encre, et
    IV) imprimer sur ladite couche de réception d'image en utilisant ladite composition d'encre pour jet d'encre en réponse auxdits signaux de données numériques.
