Abstract
Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung eines gerichteten Audio-Schalls (3) auf der Basis eines amplitudenmodulierten Ultraschall-Trägersignals (2) hoher Intensität. Dabei wird erfindungsgemäß der von einem Ultraschallsender (1) abgestrahlte Schall an einem Reflektor (5) in eine neue Richtung abgelenkt. Durch entsprechende Formgebung der Reflektor-Oberfläche wird dabei der Audio-Schall (3) fokussiert. Der Pegel des Ultraschall-Trägersignals (2) kann durch entsprechend absorbierende Beschichtung des Reflektors (5) gedämpft werden, so dass im Idealfall den Hörer (4) nur das akustische Audio-Signal (3) erreicht. Disclosed is a method and apparatus for producing directional audio sound (3) based on an amplitude-modulated ultrasound carrier signal (2) of high intensity. In this case, according to the invention, the sound emitted by an ultrasonic transmitter (1) is deflected at a reflector (5) in a new direction. By appropriate shaping of the reflector surface while the audio sound (3) is focused. The level of the ultrasonic carrier signal (2) can be attenuated by appropriately absorbing coating of the reflector (5), so that in the ideal case the handset (4) only reaches the acoustic audio signal (3).
