Description
The invention is based on a method according to the Oberbe handle of claim 1.
From US 4,450,322 it is known two speakers so to tune and align with a listener, that the listener has a maximum of sound wave superimposition is guaranteed.
In addition, in practice, often the requirement or the desire to be defined within a total area only To sonicate partial areas, z. B. with music or speech supply. This requirement exists z. For example, if inside a larger total area with a variety of Persons only certain persons with information or certain groups of people with information in different National languages should be supplied. A different one Type of sonication by group of people can also by different nationalities or different ages be conditional.
The invention is based on the object, a method and an associated system for targeted sonication of certain subareas within to create a total area. This object is related to the method by the specified in claim 1 Characteristics, concerning the plant by the in claim 6 given characteristics solved. advantageous Further developments of the invention are in the subclaims specified.
The invention is based on the following consideration: If a Loudspeaker a carrier sound wave in the ultrasonic range, z. B. at 100 kHz, emits, so this sound wave is not perceptible, even if the listener is immediately in the Directional beam is located. If now with a first Speaker such an unmodulated, also not audible carrier sound wave and with a second loudspeaker a second, modulated with a sound signal Carrier sound wave be directed and broadcast the Bundles of rays meet in a certain subarea, is it only in this subarea to an intermodulation or demodulation between the two carrier sound waves similar to a demodulation with carrier additive or a synchronous demodulation. This creates among other things that of the second carrier sound wave modulated sound signal, thus wahrge of the listener can be taken. The for such a demodulation he particular non-linear elements are in particular gege ben by the nonlinear properties of the air and the Nonlinearities of the human ear. Outside the part area, where the two carrier sound waves do not work each other meet, this demodulation does not occur, so that there the Sound can not be perceived. In the invention the fact is exploited advantageous that at a Trä Noise wave in the ultrasonic range z. B. in the range of 100 kHz because of the high frequency achieved a good bundling who that can.
Darin zeigen:The invention will be described below with reference to the drawing explained. Show:

Fig. 2 shows a system for carrying out the method according to the invention for a stereo Be sound.
Bedeutung.
LLm Lautsprecher Links moduliert,
LLu Lautsprecher Links unmoduliert,
LRm Lautsprecher Rechts moduliert,
LRu Lautsprecher Rechts unmoduliert. In Figs. 1, 2, the indicated symbols have the following meaning.
LLm left-modulated loudspeaker,
LLu speaker left unmodulated,
LRm speaker modulated right,
LRu Speaker Right unmodulated.
In Fig. 1, the loudspeaker LLm generates a carrier sound wave fLm frequency-modulated with a tone signal whose frequency range is between 130 and 150 kHz. This sound carrier wave bundled in the direction shown out beams. The second loudspeaker LLu generates an unmodulated carrier sound wave of 150 kHz, which is also broadcast in bundled form. Within the beams of LLm and LLu no sound is perceptible by a person bar, because the carrier frequencies and all major side bands are far above the audible range. In the Teilbe rich TB1 meet the two sound carrier waves fLm and fLu each other. This leads to an intermodulation or de modulation. Among other things, as a demodulation product, the sound carrier wave fLm is modulated on the tone signal, so that it can be perceived by a person P present in the subregion TB1. For a Stereoübertra supply two further loudspeakers LRm and LRu are provided correspondingly cause a corresponding sound signal in the Teilbe rich TB2. In this way, it is achieved that the person P can perceive the radiated stereo sound only in the area of the subregions TB1, TB2. Outside the Teilbe rich TB1 and TB2 the emitted sound can not be taken true, because there is either no beam or only a single beam because above the Hörbe rich.
Fig. 2 shows a system with the speakers shown in Fig. 1. The audio source Q, z. As a CD player, a DAT player, a microphone or a studio line, supplies a sound signal fAL for the left stereo channel to the frequency modulator 1 and a sound signal fAR for the right stereo channel to the FM modulator second According to FIG. 1, the generators 3 , 4 produce unmodulated carriers fLu and fRu, which respectively arrive at the loudspeakers LLu and LRu and at the modulators 1 , 2 . The modulators 1, 2 generate the modulated sound carrier waves described in Fig. 1 fLm and FRM, which are broadcast in FIG. 1. Within the subregions TB1 and TB2, the person P can thus perceive a sound re sound in the form of music or speech, while outside of these subregions no sound can be perceived. The frequencies fLu and fRu of the two unmodulated carriers for the left channel and the right channel are different by a difference frequency, which is preferably above the listening range. In dargestell th example, this difference is 50 kHz. It is thereby achieved that no audible interference arises by an intermodulation between them at the frequencies.
