  1. Container or package comprising:

    • a base consisting of a rigid cap (3) made of a synthetic material, wood or board, whose shape and dimensions correspond to the desired final shape of the container or package, the said cap (3) being provided at its periphery with means (4) capable of fitting onto the lower edge of the said sheet or blank, in such a way as to be able to be joined to the latter in a leaktight and hermetic manner by adhesive bonding, heat sealing or welding,
    • and an endpiece (10), designed to form the opening of an access to the contents of the container or package, consisting of a rigid peripheral ring or base (7) joined by bonding, heat sealing or welding to the perimeter of the said endpiece, and the said peripheral ring or base (7) incorporating a hermetically leaktight membrane.
  2. Container or package according to Claim 1, characterized in that the peripheral ring or base (7) is joined on the inside, on the outside or so as to straddle both sides of the end of the endpiece (10).
  3. Container or package according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that a lid (6) pivots on one of the edges of the peripheral base or ring (7).
  4. Container or package according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the means (4) with which the rigid cap (3) is provided consist of an upward peripheral groove, into which the end of the body (2) is inserted.
  5. Container or package according to either of Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the lid (6) pivots on the peripheral ring (7) by means of a hinge (9), the lid/ring/hinge assembly being a single moulding.
  6. Container or package according to either of Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the lid (6) proper is attached to one of the edges of the peripheral ring (7) by snap-fastening.
