Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for fastening and for driving a brush body of a cleaning machine, in particular a floor cleaning machine, with a substantially hollow cylindrical receiving element and an insertable insertable therein, wherein the positive power transmission is ensured by at least one projection and at least one corresponding recess.
  • a disadvantage proves that the change of the roller brush is complicated and expensive, since the brush body must be exactly aligned with the drive element and introduced so that a positive connection between each projection and the associated recess is guaranteed. This is especially difficult with roller brushes of considerable length.
  • when sliding the brush body and after positive connection of the connection between the drive element and the brush body by tilting the brush body may cause damage to the drive element and / or at the relevant end of the brush body.
  • a cleaning machine which has a rigid connection between the machine-side driver and the brush plate.
  • separate means for the axial fixation of the brush plate on the one hand and for torque transmission on the other hand are provided.
  • For the axial fixation serve resilient projections of the driver.
  • For torque transmission recesses are provided on the front side of the machine-side driver, engage in the correspondingly arranged elevations in the brush plate in the locked state.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to improve a known device so that an insertion of the brush body and thus a change while optimizing the storage of the brush body is easier.
  • This object is achieved in that either the receiving element with the brush body and the insertion element with the cleaning machine is in communication or the receiving element with the cleaning machine and the insertion element with the brush body in conjunction and that related at least one projection against a restoring force in the radial direction can be deflected to the axis of rotation and at least one in the radial direction first expanding and then decreasing area is provided, which is seen upstream of a deflectable projection corresponding recess in the insertion direction, so that the widening area prevents the brush body can solve independently again because again the restoring forces must be applied to change the brush body, and that the recesses are formed as recesses extending parallel to the axis of rotation.
  • the receiving element is connected either to the brush body and the insertion element with the cleaning machine. But it is also possible that the receiving element is in communication with the cleaning machine and the insertion element with the brush body.
  • the radial expansion and the subsequent reduction is based on the center axis of the insertion element.
  • the extension and the subsequent taper is seen from the outer lateral surface of the receiving element, so that the area is formed pointing in the direction of the axis of rotation.
  • each projection is first deflected against the restoring force due to the upstream in the direction of insertion, in the radial direction first widening area deflected. At this stage, there is still no positive connection. Only when each projection is seen in the insertion direction on the opposite side of the widening region, each projection is due to its back radially decreasing area due to its restoring force deflected back to its original position, so that each projection engages in the corresponding recess and so a form-fitting Connection is made. In contrast to the prior art, this intervention does not require precise alignment of the brush body prior to insertion, ie. H. each projection adapts by its flexibility of the contour of the corresponding counterpart, in which the recess in question is provided, and thus threads itself.
  • the first expanding and then decreasing area will be referred to as expanding area only.
  • the expanding area absorbs the radial forces exerted on the brush body by the substrate to be cleaned. At the same time ensures the widening area in conjunction with the deflectability of the projections tilting of the brush body, even if there is already a positive connection between the brush body and the device according to the invention. As a result, z. B. damage during assembly, as may occur when not yet mounted end plate tilting forces no longer need to be absorbed by the storage of the cleaning machine, but are reduced by tilting. In addition, the expanding prevents Area that the brush body can solve independently again, as to change the brush body again the restoring forces must be applied.
  • the inventive device is due to the deflectability of the projections also z. B. as an escape compensation between the two bearings.
  • the device according to the invention serves as overload protection for the cleaning machine against hard shocks with short-term overload.
  • the restoring forces of the projections can be generated in the simplest case by a spiral spring which press, for example, pins formed as projections in the corresponding direction. But there are also other components conceivable that are deflectable against a restoring force. So z. As well as curved spring wires that can yield radially and engage in corresponding recesses used.
  • At least one projection deflectable against a restoring force in a radial direction away from the axis of rotation may be integrally formed on the receiving element and the corresponding recess and the first expanding and subsequently decreasing region may be provided in the insertion element.
  • the projections When inserting the insertion element into the receiving element, the projections are deflected away from the axis of rotation against the restoring force by the widening region. After passing through the widening region, the projections are again deflected back in the direction of the axis of rotation due to the restoring forces.
  • the range expands and decreases seen in radial respect from the axis of rotation of the insertion element.
  • the receiving element may have at its end approximately parallel to the axis of rotation of the receiving element extending slots to form arm-shaped receiving element sections.
  • the restoring forces can be generated additionally or exclusively by the arm-shaped receiving element sections themselves.
  • the receiving element sections are partially deflected together with the projections away from the axis of rotation, so that the push-in element can be inserted.
  • the arm-shaped receiving element sections can twist easily and thus feathers like a torsion spring from the hard strokes.
  • the projections do not migrate completely out of the recesses in order to avoid destroying the connection.
  • each receiving element section may have at least one radial projection facing the axis of rotation.
  • At least one projection deflectable against a restoring force in a radial direction to the axis of rotation may be integrally formed on the insertion element and the corresponding recess and the region (s) which widens first and then subsequently decreases (e). be provided on the inside in the receiving element.
  • the widening area (s) is (are) formed on the receiving element in such a way that he (she) also points radially inward.
  • the projections are deflected against the restoring forces during insertion through the integrally formed on the inside of the receiving element widening area on the axis of rotation.
  • the restoring forces can be generated in addition or exclusively by the arm-shaped Einschiebelementabitese itself.
  • the area expands and decreases in radial respect as seen from the outer surface of the receiving element.
  • the insertion element may have end-side slots extending approximately parallel to the axis of rotation of the insertion element, forming arm-shaped insertion element sections.
  • Each Einschiebelementabites can have at least one radial, pointing away from the axis of rotation projection.
  • the first expanding and then decreasing area may be formed circumferentially. If the widening area is formed on the insertion element, this is located on the outside of the push-in element. In the reverse arrangement in which the deflectable against a restoring force in a radial direction to the axis of rotation projections are provided on the insertion element, the widening portion is formed on the inside in the region of the receiving opening of the receiving element. In this case, it is advisable that a plurality of projections are provided, which engage behind the widening area. Depending on the application, the individual projections may have varying degrees of restoring forces. This is particularly important in cleaning machines with disc brooms, which are stored only on one side. At least some projections must have higher restoring forces to ensure a secure fixing of the plate plate and to prevent accidental release due to shocks during transport or by approaching an obstacle. But it is also quite possible that the widening area is provided only in the region of a projection.
  • the region which widens first and then subsequently decreases conically on the side facing away from the free end in the direction of insertion is tapered or widening. It is obvious that when the expansion area is formed on the insertion element, the diameter of the widening area on the side facing away from the free end decreases in the direction of insertion.

  • the free end of the insertion element can be tapered, preferably tapered tapered, be formed.
  • the push-in element or the receiving element may have an approximately cylindrical and circumferentially at least one elevation exhibiting driver part, so that the device according to the invention can be used as an adapter.
  • the driver part is designed so that conventional brush body can also be used in a cleaning machine equipped with the device according to the invention.
  • the driver member may be formed, for example, tapered and outside teeth have as surveys.
  • the conventional brush body has a corresponding end-side recess into which the driver part can be inserted.
  • the driver part can be formed either on the insertion element or on the receiving element or z. B. be fixed by means of screws. Other types of connection are of course possible.
  • the invention further relates to a cleaning machine with at least one drive, preferably electric motor, and at least one brush body, wherein at least one brush body by means of a device according to the invention with the cleaning machine attachable or can be driven by this, if further the receiving element with the brush body and the insertion element with the Cleaning machine is in communication.
  • At least one roller brush rotating about a horizontal axis or a sweeping roller or at least one disc brush or a disc brush may be provided as the brush body.
  • the cleaning unit of a cleaning machine shown in FIG. 1 has a housing 1, in which two brush bodies 2 designed as roller brushes are provided.
  • Each tunnel is closed at the accessible end to be opened with a cover plate 3.
  • a projecting into the tunnel bearing pin 4 for supporting the brush body 2 is provided.
  • the respective end of the tunnel opposite the end plate 3 has the device according to the invention which is described in detail in the other figures and which comprises a drive transmission mechanism 5, such as. B. a chain is connected to the associated drive 6, for example, with an electric motor. About connections 7 each drive 6 is connected to the supply system.

  • the receiving element 14 is pushed in the direction of insertion 12 on the insertion element 9, so that the projections 17 and partially the receiving element sections 15 due to the circumferential widening portion 13 in the direction of arrows 18 away from the axis of rotation 16 against the Restoring force deflected and expanded in this respect.
  • the widening region 13 absorbs on the one hand the radial forces which are exerted on the brush body 2 by the substrate to be cleaned. At the same time ensures the widening region 13 a sufficient concentricity of the brush body 2 during operation, since the receiving element 14 is supported on its inner peripheral surface on the widening portion 13 and still so much play between the insertion element 9 and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving element 14 remains that a Pivoting of the brush body 2, as he z. B. is shown in Fig. 6, is possible.
  • the expanding portion 13 ensures tilting of the brush body 2 in the device according to the invention, as shown in detail in FIG. Such tilting can occur during assembly when the end plate 3 is not yet mounted. Due to the tilting damage to the device according to the invention is avoided.

  • the receiving element sections 15 shown at the top in this figure no longer rest completely against the insertion element 9. Rather, only the projections 17 engage in the respective recesses 11. However, the receiving element sections 15 shown below in this figure are almost completely on the insertion element 9 on. Such tilting can z.
