Abstract

Bekannt sind Leistungsschalter mit sogenannten Autokompressionskammern, bei denen die Kontakte in einer Schaltkammer beim Schaltvorgang mit einem Löschgas beströmt werden. Gemäß der Erfindung hat die Autokompressionskammer (100) wenigstens eine zusätzliche Öffnung (107, 207, 307), durch die das Gas während des Ausschaltvorganges in das Volumen (100; 110, 120) der Schaltkammer (10) einströmbar ist. Damit wird der bisher notwendige Aufwand zur Bevorratung des Gases wesentlich vermindert.
