Die Reihe 8 der Ausnehmungen 10 und die Zusatzreihe 16 sind um den Betrag A versetzt. Dieser Versatz zwischen der Reihe und der Zusatzreihe entspricht dem Maß, um den die Anschläge 11 und 11' zueinander versetzt sind. Daher werden beim Einführen der Schlüssel 2b bis 2d in die Schließzylinder 1b bis 1d jeweils wie dargestellt die Zusatzreihe der Ausnehmungen den Stiftzuhaltungen gegenübergestellt. Wenn man die Schlüssel 2b bis 2d in den Schließzylinder 1a aus Figur 1 einführt, gelangen die Ausnehmungen der Reihe 15 in eine Stellung gegenüber den Stiftzuhaltungen 9.
