  • the driver plate 44 engages the roller 40, responsively moves the roller 40 along the outboard end 41 and then diagonally towards the inboard end 43 and then along the inboard end 43.
  • the drive pin 36 which engages the roller, responsively transmits the inboard movement to the striker plate 20 and striker 18, causing the striker 18 to move inboard (Arrow A) and pull the vehicle closure panel to a final closed position.
  • the driver plate 44 and the striker plate are uncoupled from the housing enabling the sliding movement of both and thereby effect the inboard and outboard movement of the striker plate 20. Therefor, forces applied to the striker 18 will not be converted to movement of the driver plate 44.
  • the S-shaped profile of the cam slot 42 prevents impact forces from being transmitted to the actuator 16. Impact loads are ultimately transmitted to the vehicle. The result is the atctuatorl6 being insulated from impact forces exerted on the striker 18.

Claims (7)

  1. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung (10) mit
    einem Gehäuse (22, 28),
    einem Schließbügel (18), der an einer Schließbügel-Platte (20) angebracht ist, wobei die Schließbügel-Platte (20) an dem Gehäuse (22, 28) zur Schiebe-Bewegung zwischen einer Innen- und einer Außen-Position befestigt ist;
    einer Antriebs-Platte (44), die an dem Gehäuse (22, 28) zur Schiebe-Bewegung in einer zu der Schiebe-Bewegung der Schließbügel-Platte (20) orthogonalen Richtung angebracht ist und mit dieser in einer Nocken-Beziehung wirksam in Verbindung steht, und
    einem Aktuator (16), der wirksam mit der Antriebs-Platte (44) zum Bewirken einer Bewegung derselben in Eingriff steht, um dadurch eine Bewegung der Schließbügel-Platte (20) zwischen der Innen- und der Außen-Position zu bewirken, wobei die Nocken-Beziehung EndAbschnitte (43, 41) entsprechend der Innen- und Außen-Position aufweist, wobei die Schließbügel-Platte (20) und die Antriebs-Platte (44) mit dem Gehäuse (22, 28) gekoppelt sind, und einen dazwischen liegenden Abschnitt aufweist, der zwischen den End-Abschnitten (43, 41) liegt, wobei die Schließbügel-Platte (20) und die Antriebs-Platte (44) von dem Gehäuse (22, 28) entkoppelt sind, was die Schiebe-Bewegung der Schließbügel-Platte (20) und der Antriebs-Platte (44) ermöglicht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Antriebs-Platte (44) eine Reihe von Zähnen (46) aufweist und der Aktuator (16) ein Antriebs-Rad (64) in Antriebs-Eingriff mit der Reihe von Zähnen (46) der Antriebs-Platte (44) aufweist.
  2. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Schließbügel-Platte (20) oder die Antriebs-Platte (44) einen Stift (36) und die andere von der Schließbügel-Platte (20) und der Antriebs-Platte (44) eine S-förmige Ausnehmung (42) aufweist, wobei der Stift (36) in Schiebe-Eingriff mit der S-förrnigen Ausnehmung (42) steht, wobei die S-förmige Ausnehmung (42) End-Bereiche (41, 43) aufweist, die in der orthogonalen Richtung verlaufen und durch einen sich diagonal erstreckenden Abschnitt miteinander verbunden sind, wobei, wenn sich der Stift (36) in den End-Bereichen (41, 43) der S-förmigen Ausnehmung (42) befindet, auf den Schließbügel (18) ausgeübte Kräfte auf das Gehäuse (22, 28) übertragen werden, und wenn sich der Stift (36) entlang des sich diagonal erstreckenden Abschnitts bewegt, die Antriebs-Platte (44) eine Bewegung der Schließbügel-Platte (20) bewirkt.
  3. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Gehäuse (22, 28) einen daran angebrachten Zahnbogen (58) aufweist, wobei der Zahnbogen (58) in funktionaler Hinsicht zwischen der Reihe von Zähnen (46) der Antriebs-Platte (44) und dem AntriebsZahnrad (64) des Aktuators (16) verläuft.
  4. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Gehäuse eine Rück-Platte (28) aufweist, die mit einer einen ersten Hohlraum (25) dazwischen bildenden Abdeck-Platte (22) in Eingriff steht, wobei die Rück-Platte (28) eine den Stift (36) aufnehmende Öffnung (38) aufweist, wobei die Abdeck-Platte (22) eine Öffnung (25) aufweist, durch welche sich der Schließbügel (18) erstreckt, wobei der erste Hohlraum (25) Führungen (34) aufweist, die einen ersten Schiebe-Kanal bilden, wobei die Schließbügel-Platte (20) schiebbar in dem ersten Schiebe-Kanal aufgenommen ist.
  5. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Gehäuse eine Rück-Platte (28) aufweist, die mit einer einen ersten Hohlraum (25) dazwischen bildenden Abdeck-Platte (22) in Eingriff steht, wobei die Antriebs-Platte (44) einen Stift (36) aufweist, der in einer Öffnung (38) der Rück-Platte (28) aufgenommen ist, wobei die Abdeck-Platte (22) eine Öffnung (25) aufweist, durch welche sich der Schließbügel (18) erstreckt, wobei der erste Hohlraum (25) Führungen (34) aufweist, die einen ersten Schiebe-Kanal bilden, wobei die Schließbügel-Platte (20) schiebbar in dem ersten Schiebe-Kanal aufgenommen ist.
  6. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, wobei das Gehäuse (22, 28, 48, 50) ferner ein Antriebs-Gehäuse (48) umfasst, das mit einer einen zweiten Hohlraum dazwischen bildenden Antriebs-Abdeckung (50) in Eingriff steht, wobei die Antriebs-Abdeckung (50) eine den Stift (36) aufnehmende Öffnung (51) aufweist, wobei das Antriebs-Gehäuse (48) eine Öffnung (49) aufweist, die einen Zugang für den wirksamen Eingriff zwischen der Antriebs-Platte (44) und dem Aktuator (16) liefert, wobei der zweite Hohlraum Führungen (56) aufweist, die einen zweiten Schiebe-Kanal bilden, wobei die Antriebs-Platte (44) schiebbar in dem zweiten Schiebe-Kanal aufgenommen ist.
  7. Kraftbetätigte Schließbügel-Einrichtung nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Antriebs-Abdeckung (50) und die Rück-Platte (28) in einer Rückseiten-zu-Rückseiten-Beziehung in Eingriff stehen, wobei die entsprechenden Öffnungen (51, 38) fluchten, was es dem Stift (36) ermöglicht, sich durch diese zu erstrecken.
