  • the present invention generally relates to a packaging for a sterile syringe which allows the sterile syringe to be handled while protecting the outer surface of the sterile syringe against contamination. More specifically, the present invention relates to a tear open and sterilizable packaging which can sealingly receive a sterile syringe and later be handled without concern for contaminating the sterility of the syringe or its contents. When the sterile syringe is needed, it can be directly released to a completely sterile environment. Therefore, the sterile syringe packaging of the present invention allows fluid processing to be conducted in a non-sterile environment and later delivers the sterile syringe in a sterile field with the least fluid transfer.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ensemble de seringue stérile (1). Ledit ensemble de seringue stérile (1) présente une gaine stérile (30) qui entoure de manière étanche une seringue stérile (20). La gaine stérile (30) présente une portion d'ouverture (32) délimitée par une portion de bordure périphérique (34) de la gaine stérile (30). L'ensemble de seringue stérile (1) possède, en outre, un organe d'ajustement (50) lié de manière amovible à un luer ou une aiguille relié(e) à la seringue stérile (1) et fixé de manière étanche à la portion de bord périphérique (34) de la gaine (30) formant une chambre de seringue fermée (36) pour recevoir la seringue stérile (20). L'ensemble de seringue stérile (1) peut comporter un organe d'enveloppe (70) pour y enserrer la gaine stérile (30) et l'organe d'ajustement (50). Alternativement, un bouchon obturateur peut être utilisé pour obturer l'organe d'ajustement (50).
