Definitions
- the invention relates to a preferably designed as a drilling water pump Piston pump with a reciprocating piston in a cylinder and one integrated filter piston.
- Pseudo-continuous piston pumps take over in a first work cycle resiliently biased inlet valve a fluid in a pump chamber to this finally compress in a second cycle and via an outlet valve issue.
- Drilling water pumps take drilling water heavily mixed with solids at low Pressure on and provide both filtered drilling water and separate outputs at Solids concentrated drilling water available at higher pressures.
- By the strong solid content in the drilling water is a regular backwashing of the filter required to avoid permanent clogging.
- a piston pump includes one for cleaning the fluid executed filter, which is immovably fixed in the cylinder. A backwash of the filter is not possible.
- a multi-cascaded, reciprocating piston is one Piston pump designed as a filter piston made of porous metal, which compresses at the same time and cleans. Such a construction is unsuitable for heavily contaminated fluids. Of further backwashing of the filter is not possible.
- the object of the invention is to implement a filtering piston pump for strong fluids containing solids.
- the piston pump essentially has one, in a cylinder one self-closing inlet valve to a pump room, sealing back and forth piston moved a resiliently biased, axially limited sealing moving upstream filter piston, which with the piston an independent closes outlet valve.
- the piston increases the axial movement Pump chamber, which creates a vacuum when the outlet valve is closed, which the Fluid containing solids enters the pump chamber via the inlet valve that is opened can flow in.
- its axial movement reduces its size the pump chamber and the fluid mixed with solids is compressed, whereby the upstream filter piston is moved towards the piston against the preload and that Exhaust valve opens, which is filtered by the filter piston and by the piston compressed compressed fluid can flow out. That collects in the pump room Solids concentrated fluid.
- the pump function is also used in a small space combined with a filter function.
- the piston pump advantageously has an automatically closing concentrate outlet valve to the pump room, which occurs when the filter is clogged Overpressure in the pump room which releases fluid concentrated with solids. So with the piston pump also heavily mixed with solids and with respect to the Fluctuating fluids can be cleaned.
- the self-closing outlet valve is also advantageously end-controlled closing, whereby axially at a shortly before the bottom dead center of the Her movement Cylinder-striking filter piston closed the exhaust valve, a backflow of the cleaned fluid caused by the filter piston in the pump chamber and thus in the pump chamber an overpressure is built up, which in a third cycle that with solids Concentrated fluid discharges through the concentrate outlet valve. So the piston pump quasi-continuous self-cleaning.
- the outlet valve which closes at the end and is closed, is advantageous Exhaust valve spring biased over a tie rod, making it structurally simple can be produced.
- the pump chamber 4 is reduced in size during the forth movement and that with solids offset fluid 9 is compressed, whereby the upstream filter piston 7 against the Bias of the axially biasing filter springs 6 is moved towards the piston 5 and the outlet valve 8 opens, which is filtered by the filter piston 7 and by the Piston 5 compressed compressed fluid 9 can flow out. This collects in the pump room 4 fluid 9 concentrated with solids.
- the piston pump 1 has an automatically closing Concentrate outlet valve 10 to the pump chamber 4, which in the event of an overpressure Pump chamber 4 which releases fluid 9 concentrated with solids. That independently Closing outlet valve 8 is end-controlled closing with a Exhaust valve spring 11 biased via a tie rod 12, which at a short before Bottom dead center of the forth movement arranged axial stop 13 of the filter piston 7 Exhaust valve 8 closes and thus a backflow of the cleaned fluid 9 through the Filter piston 7 forces into the pump chamber 4, causing an overpressure in the pump chamber 4 is built up, which is concentrated with the solids fluid 9 via the Concentrate outlet valve 10 leaves.
