Definitions
- the invention relates to a gate with a between a closed position in which it is aligned approximately vertically and an open position in which it is, preferably overhead, is oriented approximately horizontally, movable door leaf, which has a plurality of in its direction of movement arranged one behind the other and perpendicular to the direction of movement joints with interconnected door leaf elements with extending joint axes has, a guide rail arrangement for guiding the door leaf movement with at least one guide rail, one over an arcuate Section in an approximately horizontal and approximately parallel to the open position of the door leaf the first section, approximately vertically and approximately parallel to the closed position of the door leaf has a second section coupled to the door leaf Traction device with which the door leaf from the closed position to the open position urgent tractive force can be exerted on the door leaf and in the closed position a first section running approximately parallel to the first guide rail section has, which over a section surrounding a deflection element in an approximately parallel passes to the second guide rail section extending section, the traction means with the help of the deflecting element
- Gates of this type are, for example, in the form of garage doors, factory gates or Hall gates used.
- the door leaf is usually the one described above Kind formed in several parts, wherein it is aligned in the closed position in a vertical plane and is housed in a frame.
- To open such a gate the door leaf is usually along a predetermined by the guide rail arrangement
- the web moves into an overhead position in which it is approximately parallel to the ground and extends perpendicular to the wall opening that can be closed with the door leaf.
- This opening movement is usually just like the closing movement from the open position arranged in the closed position with the door leaf on both sides and with respect to the Wall fixed guide rails of the guide rail arrangement and on the door leaf fixed and guided by the guide rails guide elements, such as Guided roles.
- Such gates also referred to as sectional gates have the advantage that when they are actuated, no pivoting of the door leaf into the in front of the building to be locked with it, so that a special space-saving actuation of the door leaf is possible.
- preloading devices or weight balancing devices which the door leaf at least in the closed position towards the open position push, and at least partially balance the weight of the door leaf, so to facilitate the opening movement or to prevent an uncontrolled closing movement.
- These biasing devices usually include a mechanical spring, such as such as a tension spring or a torsion spring, which is usually in the form of a Wire rope formed traction means attacks on the door leaf.
- the traction means and the Biasing device usually arranged so that the biasing device at a Closing movement from the open position to the closed position under the effect of gravity is tensioned with the help of the weight of the door leaf and with the spring tension thus generated supports the opening movement.
- the traction device expediently engages on lower edge of the door leaf so that the articulated connections between the individual Gate members are not excessively loaded during the opening movement.
- the individual gate links in the course support the opening or closing movement to each other and overall by the attached traction means are held at the bottom of the door leaf.
- the prestressing device is formed in the form of a torsion spring, which is perpendicular to the predetermined Spring shaft extending around the track and overall above that with the gate is arranged to be closed wall opening.
- the torsion spring is on the one hand the rotatably mounted spring shaft and on the other hand attached to a fixed part.
- the traction means usually formed in the form of a wire rope is on one on one Axial end of the spring shaft attached to the cable drum rotatably connected and is in Course of the opening movement of the door leaf wound on this cable drum or in The course of the closing movement is processed.
- the opening or Closing movement used a motor, which the rope drum and thus the spring shaft rotates around the spring axis so as to unwind the traction means from the rope drum or thereon roll up. In some cases it does not stand above the wall opening to be closed enough space to accommodate the pretensioning device and / or the drive unit to disposal.
- the pretensioner to solve this problem to the rear end of the guide rail arrangement facing away from the wall opening to be closed laid and the pull rope over a near the top or the edge of the wall opening adjacent the opening position can be deflected by about 90 °, so that it is between the in this embodiment cable drum arranged at the rear end of the guide rail arrangement and the deflection element approximately parallel to the upper one running parallel to the floor Guide rail section runs and in the closed position of the door leaf between the deflection element and the attachment point on the door leaf approximately parallel to the approximately in Direction of gravity running in the area of the side frames of the frame edge of the gate fixed guide rail section is arranged.
- the object of the invention based on providing a gate of the type described in the opening paragraph which provides increased operational reliability and security offers.
- this object is achieved by a Further development of known gates solved, which is characterized in that an additional, i.e. pre-tensioning device which does not match the weight balancing device, if any, is provided with which the section surrounding the deflecting element of the traction device can be tensioned if a during the movement of the door leaf Relative movement between the traction means and the rear end during the closing movement of the door leaf occurs.
- an additional, i.e. pre-tensioning device which does not match the weight balancing device, if any, is provided with which the section surrounding the deflecting element of the traction device can be tensioned if a during the movement of the door leaf Relative movement between the traction means and the rear end during the closing movement of the door leaf occurs.
- This invention is based on the knowledge that in the course of the movement of the Door leaf from the open position to the closed position and vice versa a relative movement between the one coupled to the front end of the door leaf during the closing movement Traction means and the rear end of the door leaf occur during this movement can, which is due to the fact that the vertical movement of the closing movement front door leaf elements when the following door leaf elements enter the arc Section of the guide rail arrangement predominantly in a pivoting movement of these door leaf elements with respect to the following still in the horizontal area Guide rail sections arranged gate leaf elements is implemented, so that these still horizontally aligned door leaf elements when entering a door leaf element first braked in the guide rail section and then when leaving of the arcuate guide rail section are accelerated again.
- this is additional Biasing device coupled to the traction means, so that a simple response of the Preload device when a relative movement occurs between the traction means and the rear end of the door leaf is possible.
- the pretensioning device expediently one on the first, i.e. horizontal section of the Traction element fastened and, on the other hand, attachable to the door leaf. If this pretensioning element pushes the door leaf into the closed position when it is in contact with it, In this way, the first, i.e. horizontal section of the traction device and on the other hand the second, i.e.
- the biasing element can be realized particularly easily if there is one has a compression spring supported on an abutment fastened to the traction means. If the rear end of the door leaf with respect to the Traction device is braked, this compression spring can be in contact with the rear end of the door leaf arrive and be excited. If the rear end of the door leaf in the course the closing movement is accelerated again after braking, the Restoring force of the compression spring is available to support this acceleration. On in this way a load change in the area of the traction means is prevented particularly reliably or reduced because the generation of the biasing force of the biasing means is immediate is coupled to the relative movement of the door leaf with respect to the traction means.
- the pretensioning device may have an abutment and comprises a support fastened to the traction means, which has at least one holding arrangement is held on the guide rail assembly.
- the guide rail arrangement is not used to guide the door leaf movement but also to guide the movement of the additional moving with the traction device Biasing device used.
- the the carrier on the guide rail assembly holding arrangement can hold at least one in an approximately horizontal guide rail section have recorded leadership role. It also has proved to be favorable if the holding arrangement has at least one, preferably one vertical boundary surface of the horizontally running first guide rail section has a guide element which can be applied and which prevents the carrier and / or the biasing device tilts into the first guide rail section.
- the drive device is connected to the Coupled deflecting element and for generating a rotary movement of the deflecting element around the one that is generally approximately perpendicular to the direction of movement of the door leaf Deflection axis is operable. It has been shown that with this coupling of the drive device to the deflecting element, the weight of the in the open position in generally slightly inclined downward, when closing first or in the The closed position of the bottom door leaf element can suffice to move between the deflecting element and the point at which the traction device is attached to this door leaf element, arranged tension member section to tighten and the closing movement of the door leaf to cause corresponding actuation of the drive device.
- the traction means in positive engagement with the Deflection element stands, the traction means in the form of a chain and the deflection element in Form of an associated sprocket or sprocket can be realized because of this way a particularly effective mechanical decoupling between the individual Sections of the traction device can be produced and on the other hand a slip-free Drive is possible.
- the provision of a slip-free drive is special desirable because such simple control of the drive by detection the rotational movement of the deflecting element is possible.
- the drive device expediently has a coaxial to the deflection axis extending and rotatably connected to the deflection drive shaft. It can to transmit the drive force to the drive shaft a rotatably with the drive shaft connected transmission element, preferably in the form of a chain sprocket are used, this transmission element facing away from the closing element Outside of the guide rail can be arranged.
- the deflecting element in the area of the wall opening, that is in the immediate Neighboring the wall having the opening is arranged because so that the actuation element that enables manual actuation, such as a hand chain, or an emergency chain also required for engine operation in the immediate vicinity of the opening having wall can be arranged and not in the middle of the with the Locking element locked room hangs down.
- the coupling of the drive device to the Deflection element the automatic initiation of the closing movement of the door leaf when appropriate Activation of the drive device or release of the traction means favors.
- the inertia mostly over head and horizontally aligned door leaf due to the weight of the first, at the closing movement, obliquely downwardly inclined door leaf element in some cases can not be overcome, so that an actuation of the drive device does not automatically lead to the initiation of the closing movement. Because of this, can there is a loosening of the traction means tension when the drive device is actuated, especially in the area between the deflecting element and the attachment point of the Come pulling on the door leaf.
- the above explained operational reliability issues while ensuring an acceptable one Assembly or component expenditure through a further development of the known gates solved which is essentially characterized in that the door leaf in the direction pushing device pushing towards the closed position, on the one hand, a coupling device coupled to the traction means and on the other hand has a push element that can be applied to the door leaf.
- This aspect of the invention is based on the incredibly simple knowledge back that the closing movement is not just using an additional pull rope can be triggered reliably, but also when the pulling rope is needed anyway a thrust element acting as a driver is attached.
- This can Aspect of the invention with particular advantage in those already explained above Gates are used with a drive device acting on the deflection element, because the one running approximately parallel to the horizontal guide rail section Pull rope section when driving the door in any case in the direction of the closed position the gate is moved, while a loosening of the traction means or a slack rope only in Area of the vertical traction section can occur.
- the thrust element expediently on the parallel to the horizontal Guide rail section extending traction element section attached, so that it when actuated of the drive automatically with the movement of the traction system in contact with the Closing movement arrives at the rear end of the door leaf.
- the thrust element expediently has one which can be placed on the door leaf Contact surface on the traction device in a parallel to the direction of pull extending direction is displaceable.
- the additional biasing device be used as a traction device.
- the traction means in a parallel to the deflection axis Direction has a greater width than in a perpendicular to and perpendicular to Direction of thickness. This is due to the small thickness of the traction device created the possibility in the direction perpendicular to the deflection axis redirect the traction means with particularly small deflection radii, while by the large one Width in the direction of the deflection axis, the required tensile strength is made available.
- the deflection section has the traction means a plurality of one behind the other in the manner of a chain and with respect to articulated axes running parallel to the deflection axis connected tension members. It has to do with the deployment sufficient tensile strength in the area of the deflecting element is particularly favorable proven if the deflecting section of the traction means is a chain, in particular a roller chain with chain rollers running parallel to the deflection axis comprising chain links. In this case, a particularly reliable one Guide of the traction means can be achieved when the deflecting element is a suitable for the chain Sprocket, in particular pinion.
- Traction means can ensure a particularly high tensile strength small deflection radii can be realized because the individual chain links with the help of articulated to the chain rollers and in contact with the tooth flanks of the chain sprockets Connecting elements are connected to one another, these connecting elements without impairing the deflection properties of the roller chain with one to provide the desired tensile strength required thickness can be performed.
- roller chains are much more expensive than conventional traction devices in the form of wire ropes, however, the use of these roller chains as a whole makes it possible a cheaper version of the gate as a whole, because of the internal arrangement of the deflection element no additional security measures must be taken.
- the traction device is expediently attached to the one on the door leaf End opposite end to a weight balancer or pretensioner coupled with which the door leaf in the closed position via the traction device in the direction is pushed to the open position
- this pretensioning device at least a rotatably mounted spring shaft extending parallel to the deflection axis can have helically rotating torsion spring, on the one hand on the torsion spring shaft and on the other hand attached to a holder fixed with respect to the wall opening and in the course of a closing movement of the door leaf from the open position in the closed position is cocked.
- the traction means in devices according to the invention expediently at its opposite end attached to the door leaf End at a rotationally fixed with the, if necessary, facing away from the wall opening rear end of the guide rail section running parallel to the floor Spring shaft connected and preferably arranged at an axial end thereof Fixed winding drum on which the traction device during an opening movement of the door leaf is wound up.
- a section of the traction means adjoining the deflection section, preferably the entire section winding section wound on the cable drum in the course of the opening movement of the traction means is formed in the form of a rope, in particular a wire rope.
- Execution of the winding section of the traction means in the form of a wire rope also prepares for the required tensile strength when operating gates with particularly heavy door leaves such as about industrial gates no difficulty because the winding drum is behind the rear end arranged parallel to the bottom of the guide rail section and therefore without hindering the movement of the door leaf with a special for winding thicker wire ropes can be of sufficient diameter.
- the second Guide rail section expediently a further guide rail segment assigned, which is on the side facing away from the second section of the first Section or above the first section extends approximately parallel to it and one then in the direction of the edge facing the closed position or includes the upper edge of the wall opening extending end portion, this further Guide rail segment for guiding one on the last during the closing movement Door leaf element and in the closed position uppermost door leaf element fastened guide element serves.
- the deflecting element is expediently on the sectional door leaf facing inner side of this end portion, the deflection axis is on the side of the end section facing away from the arcuate section and the deflecting element preferably overlaps the end section at least partially.
- the sectional door shown in FIG. 1 essentially comprises a total of 10 designated door leaf, a total of 20 guide rail arrangement, a weight compensation or biasing device with which the door leaf in the in Fig. 1st shown closed position is pushed towards the open position, a total 40 with traction means, via which the weight compensation device 30 with is connected to the door leaf 10, a drive unit designated 50 in total, with which the door leaf between the open position shown in Fig. 1 and the closed position can be moved, as well as a total designated 100 also as a thrust element acting prestressing device.

- This will cause the door leaf to move without swinging out into the outside space in front of the interior space closed with the door leaf, that the door leaf from a total of four along the specified path in a row arranged gate leaf elements or gate members 12, 14, 16 and 18, which over Having joint axes perpendicular to the predetermined path and preferably hinges formed in the form of hinges are interconnected.
- the guide rail arrangement 20 has a guide for guiding the door leaf movement attached to a side frame spar 2 (see FIG. 2), running approximately in the direction of gravity Guide rail section 22, one over an arcuate section 26 associated overhead guide rail section 24 and another, arranged above the guide rail section 24 and parallel for this purpose running guide rail segment 28, which on its with the End of the door leaf to be closed by a wall opening 5 facing towards has the upper edge of the wall opening 5 extending end portion 29.
- Each of the gate members 12, 14 and 16 is in its upper region in the closed position Edge equipped with guide rollers 13, 15 and 17, respectively, through the guide rail sections 22, 24 and 26 engage formed guide rail. How special clearly shown in Fig. 3, the bottom gate member 12 is also in the closed position also equipped with corresponding guide rollers 11 on its lower edge.

- the drive unit can include a motor and / or a manually operated drive chain. Another advantage of The arrangement of the drive device just described can be seen in the fact that the drive unit, which is usually a problem even when using a drive motor Must have emergency chain for manual operation, in the vicinity of the wall opening 5 Wall can be arranged so that the hand chain does not hang down in the middle of the room, but in any case arranged in the vicinity of the wall having the wall opening 5 is. Accordingly, the downward movement of the gate member 16 becomes almost completely into a pivoting movement of the gate member 18 about the guide roller 19th implemented so that the rear end of the gate member 18 relative movement the traction device 40 experiences, in the course of which it is braked.

- This relaxation of the compression spring 120 promotes the acceleration of the rear end of the gate member 18 and thus acts to relax of the vertically extending section of the traction means 40 during the acceleration phase of the rear end of the gate member 18. This will make it excessive Prevents load fluctuations in the traction device, which could otherwise lead to the Traction device 40 jumps off the guide element 48.
- tension also leads the compression spring 120 does not cause excessive relaxation of the traction means 40 because this in the course of braking the rear end of the gate member 18 by the acceleration forces occurring anyway experiences an additional tension, which can be easily converted into a tension of the compression spring 120.

Gates of this type are, for example, in the form of garage doors, factory gates or Hall gates used. The door leaf is usually the one described above Kind formed in several parts, wherein it is aligned in the closed position in a vertical plane and is housed in a frame. To open such a gate the door leaf is usually along a predetermined by the guide rail arrangement The web moves into an overhead position in which it is approximately parallel to the ground and extends perpendicular to the wall opening that can be closed with the door leaf. This opening movement is usually just like the closing movement from the open position arranged in the closed position with the door leaf on both sides and with respect to the Wall fixed guide rails of the guide rail arrangement and on the door leaf fixed and guided by the guide rails guide elements, such as Guided roles. This comes especially with devices for closing large wall openings guide rail arrangements with guide rails of the above described type of use. Such gates also referred to as sectional gates have the advantage that when they are actuated, no pivoting of the door leaf into the in front of the building to be locked with it, so that a special space-saving actuation of the door leaf is possible.
In particular with the gates explained above, in which the door leaf in the Open position upside down and roughly parallel to the floor will help the opening movement and with regard to the relevant safety regulations Usually preloading devices or weight balancing devices are used, which the door leaf at least in the closed position towards the open position push, and at least partially balance the weight of the door leaf, so to facilitate the opening movement or to prevent an uncontrolled closing movement. These biasing devices usually include a mechanical spring, such as such as a tension spring or a torsion spring, which is usually in the form of a Wire rope formed traction means attacks on the door leaf. The traction means and the Biasing device usually arranged so that the biasing device at a Closing movement from the open position to the closed position under the effect of gravity is tensioned with the help of the weight of the door leaf and with the spring tension thus generated supports the opening movement. For this purpose, the traction device expediently engages on lower edge of the door leaf so that the articulated connections between the individual Gate members are not excessively loaded during the opening movement. Much more it is possible through this arrangement that the individual gate links in the course support the opening or closing movement to each other and overall by the attached traction means are held at the bottom of the door leaf.
In the case of conventional gates for halls, warehouses or the like, so-called industrial gates, the prestressing device is formed in the form of a torsion spring, which is perpendicular to the predetermined Spring shaft extending around the track and overall above that with the gate is arranged to be closed wall opening. The torsion spring is on the one hand the rotatably mounted spring shaft and on the other hand attached to a fixed part. The traction means usually formed in the form of a wire rope is on one on one Axial end of the spring shaft attached to the cable drum rotatably connected and is in Course of the opening movement of the door leaf wound on this cable drum or in The course of the closing movement is processed.
Especially with industrial gates, the opening or Closing movement used a motor, which the rope drum and thus the spring shaft rotates around the spring axis so as to unwind the traction means from the rope drum or thereon roll up. In some cases it does not stand above the wall opening to be closed enough space to accommodate the pretensioning device and / or the drive unit to disposal. It is known that the pretensioner to solve this problem to the rear end of the guide rail arrangement facing away from the wall opening to be closed laid and the pull rope over a near the top or the edge of the wall opening adjacent the opening position can be deflected by about 90 °, so that it is between the in this embodiment cable drum arranged at the rear end of the guide rail arrangement and the deflection element approximately parallel to the upper one running parallel to the floor Guide rail section runs and in the closed position of the door leaf between the deflection element and the attachment point on the door leaf approximately parallel to the approximately in Direction of gravity running in the area of the side frames of the frame edge of the gate fixed guide rail section is arranged. When operating such Tore has shown that the traction mechanism is particularly effective when performing a closing movement often jumps off the deflecting element. On the one hand, this makes it a controlled one Closing the gate difficult, and on the other hand within the scope of the necessary later Tensioning the slack hanging after the rope jumps off the deflecting element Traction means creates a risk of injury to the users of the gate.
In view of these problems in the prior art, the object of the invention based on providing a gate of the type described in the opening paragraph which provides increased operational reliability and security offers.
According to a first aspect of the invention, this object is achieved by a Further development of known gates solved, which is characterized in that an additional, i.e. pre-tensioning device which does not match the weight balancing device, if any, is provided with which the section surrounding the deflecting element of the traction device can be tensioned if a during the movement of the door leaf Relative movement between the traction means and the rear end during the closing movement of the door leaf occurs.
This invention is based on the knowledge that in the course of the movement of the Door leaf from the open position to the closed position and vice versa a relative movement between the one coupled to the front end of the door leaf during the closing movement Traction means and the rear end of the door leaf occur during this movement can, which is due to the fact that the vertical movement of the closing movement front door leaf elements when the following door leaf elements enter the arc Section of the guide rail arrangement predominantly in a pivoting movement of these door leaf elements with respect to the following still in the horizontal area Guide rail sections arranged gate leaf elements is implemented, so that these still horizontally aligned door leaf elements when entering a door leaf element first braked in the guide rail section and then when leaving of the arcuate guide rail section are accelerated again. The in Course of the relative movement between the moving at constant speed Traction means and the rear end of the door leaf occurring negative and positive Accelerations of the door leaf (braking and accelerating) require forces that must be caught or applied by the door leaf. That leads to corresponding ones Load fluctuations of the traction device coupled to the door leaf. In the course these load fluctuations, the traction device is alternately tightened and loosened, making it difficult to reliably guide the traction device around the deflection roller, which in turn can lead to the traction device jumping off the deflection roller. this Effect is counteracted by the inventive development of the known gates, by the load fluctuations of the Traction means is counteracted by an additional biasing device.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, this is additional Biasing device coupled to the traction means, so that a simple response of the Preload device when a relative movement occurs between the traction means and the rear end of the door leaf is possible. For this purpose, the pretensioning device expediently one on the first, i.e. horizontal section of the Traction element fastened and, on the other hand, attachable to the door leaf. If this pretensioning element pushes the door leaf into the closed position when it is in contact with it, In this way, the first, i.e. horizontal section of the traction device and on the other hand the second, i.e. vertically extending section of the traction device tensioned because the traction mechanism in most cases follows that of the closing movement front end of the door leaf is coupled, so that under the action of the door leaf in the Closing position urging biasing element a voltage of the coupled to the door leaf second or vertical section of the traction means is generated.
The biasing element can be realized particularly easily if there is one has a compression spring supported on an abutment fastened to the traction means.
A further increase in the operational reliability of a door according to the invention can be achieved if the pretensioning device may have an abutment and comprises a support fastened to the traction means, which has at least one holding arrangement is held on the guide rail assembly. In this embodiment the invention, the guide rail arrangement is not used to guide the door leaf movement but also to guide the movement of the additional moving with the traction device Biasing device used. The the carrier on the guide rail assembly holding arrangement can hold at least one in an approximately horizontal guide rail section have recorded leadership role. It also has proved to be favorable if the holding arrangement has at least one, preferably one vertical boundary surface of the horizontally running first guide rail section has a guide element which can be applied and which prevents the carrier and / or the biasing device tilts into the first guide rail section. As above The traction device has already been explained in connection with conventional gates Expediently coupled to a drive device for moving the door leaf is designed between the closed position and the open position. Although in Within the scope of this invention, thought is also given to the use of manually operated drive devices is, it has particularly in the use of gates according to the invention in industrial Area proven to be useful if the drive device has a drive motor.
It has proven to be particularly favorable if the drive device is connected to the Coupled deflecting element and for generating a rotary movement of the deflecting element around the one that is generally approximately perpendicular to the direction of movement of the door leaf Deflection axis is operable. Therefore, with this Arrangement of the drive device in many cases on the provision of an otherwise necessary, additional pulling rope causing the closing movement to be dispensed with. The automatic triggering of the closing movement is described in the preferred arrangement of the drive device favors that by the Door leaf in the open position in the direction of the closed position pushing weight of the first door leaf element during this movement, only that between the deflecting element and the door leaf extending section of the traction means are tensioned must, while the rest of the traction means by the deflecting element and on it acting drive device mechanically from the tensioned under the action of gravity Section of the traction means is decoupled and separated by the weight compensation device or the additional pretensioning device can be tensioned. there is the automatic triggering of the closing movement of the door leaf when the also favored by the drive device coupled to the deflection element, that because of the automatic tension between the deflecting element and the weight compensation device or the additional biasing device arranged section of the traction device there is no need for a slack rope safety device, which would otherwise counteract the closing movement.
In the arrangement of the drive device described last, it has also been found proven to be particularly advantageous if the traction means in positive engagement with the Deflection element stands, the traction means in the form of a chain and the deflection element in Form of an associated sprocket or sprocket can be realized because of this way a particularly effective mechanical decoupling between the individual Sections of the traction device can be produced and on the other hand a slip-free Drive is possible. The provision of a slip-free drive is special desirable because such simple control of the drive by detection the rotational movement of the deflecting element is possible.
The drive device expediently has a coaxial to the deflection axis extending and rotatably connected to the deflection drive shaft. It can to transmit the drive force to the drive shaft a rotatably with the drive shaft connected transmission element, preferably in the form of a chain sprocket are used, this transmission element facing away from the closing element Outside of the guide rail can be arranged. As particularly cheap it has been found if the deflecting element in the area of the wall opening, that is in the immediate Neighboring the wall having the opening is arranged because so that the actuation element that enables manual actuation, such as a hand chain, or an emergency chain also required for engine operation in the immediate vicinity of the opening having wall can be arranged and not in the middle of the with the Locking element locked room hangs down.
As explained above, the coupling of the drive device to the Deflection element the automatic initiation of the closing movement of the door leaf when appropriate Activation of the drive device or release of the traction means favors. However, it has been shown that in this embodiment of the invention, the inertia mostly over head and horizontally aligned door leaf due to the weight of the first, at the closing movement, obliquely downwardly inclined door leaf element in some cases can not be overcome, so that an actuation of the drive device does not automatically lead to the initiation of the closing movement. Because of this, can there is a loosening of the traction means tension when the drive device is actuated, especially in the area between the deflecting element and the attachment point of the Come pulling on the door leaf. This phenomenon, also known as "slack rope" leads to an increase in the risk of injury when operating gates of the aforementioned Art. With conventional industrial sectional doors with particularly heavy door leaves, which due to its inertia has a particularly high persistence in the Having the closed position, this problem is usually caused by the provision an additional pull rope is released, with which the door leaf from the closed position to the open position can be pulled. The provision of such an additional pull rope brings with it the need to provide appropriate guidance elements what to increase the assembly effort and the cost of a corresponding gate leads. It is also known that this favors the triggering of the closing movement can be, if facing away from the wall opening to be closed with the door leaf rear end of the guide rail assembly a pusher in the form of a additional compression spring is arranged with a in the open position of the door leaf the door leaf exerted pushing force towards the closed position on the door leaf becomes. However, it has been shown that even when using such a compression spring the closing movement is not triggered reliably and in particular then for stopping the door leaf movement can come when the individual door leaf elements Pass through arcuate section of the guide rail assembly. Accordingly, the Use of conventional thrust devices with one at the rear end of the guide rail arrangement attached compression spring is no adequate replacement for the known use an additional pull rope.
According to another aspect of the invention, the above explained operational reliability issues while ensuring an acceptable one Assembly or component expenditure through a further development of the known gates solved, which is essentially characterized in that the door leaf in the direction pushing device pushing towards the closed position, on the one hand, a coupling device coupled to the traction means and on the other hand has a push element that can be applied to the door leaf.
This aspect of the invention is based on the amazingly simple knowledge back that the closing movement is not just using an additional pull rope can be triggered reliably, but also when the pulling rope is needed anyway a thrust element acting as a driver is attached. This can Aspect of the invention with particular advantage in those already explained above Gates are used with a drive device acting on the deflection element, because the one running approximately parallel to the horizontal guide rail section Pull rope section when driving the door in any case in the direction of the closed position the gate is moved, while a loosening of the traction means or a slack rope only in Area of the vertical traction section can occur. From that point of view is the thrust element expediently on the parallel to the horizontal Guide rail section extending traction element section attached, so that it when actuated of the drive automatically with the movement of the traction system in contact with the Closing movement arrives at the rear end of the door leaf.
With regard to those occurring in the course of the opening and closing movement Relative movements between the traction device and the rear one during the closing movement At the end of the door leaf, the thrust element expediently has one which can be placed on the door leaf Contact surface on the traction device in a parallel to the direction of pull extending direction is displaceable. In this case, the additional biasing device be used as a traction device. It has already been explained above that the Traction means of the gate according to the invention expediently at least in the area of a the deflection element in the course of the movement between the closed position and the open position circumferential deflection section in the form of a chain with a plurality of is articulated interconnected tension members. In this embodiment becomes a deflection while ensuring sufficient tensile strength of the traction device with particularly small deflection radii. This advantage can can also be achieved in that the traction means in a parallel to the deflection axis Direction has a greater width than in a perpendicular to and perpendicular to Direction of thickness. This is due to the small thickness of the traction device created the possibility in the direction perpendicular to the deflection axis redirect the traction means with particularly small deflection radii, while by the large one Width in the direction of the deflection axis, the required tensile strength is made available. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the deflection section has the traction means a plurality of one behind the other in the manner of a chain and with respect to articulated axes running parallel to the deflection axis connected tension members. With formed in the form of a roller chain Traction means can ensure a particularly high tensile strength small deflection radii can be realized because the individual chain links with the help of articulated to the chain rollers and in contact with the tooth flanks of the chain sprockets Connecting elements are connected to one another, these connecting elements without impairing the deflection properties of the roller chain with one to provide the desired tensile strength required thickness can be performed.
Although such roller chains are much more expensive than conventional traction devices in the form of wire ropes, however, the use of these roller chains as a whole makes it possible a cheaper version of the gate as a whole, because of the internal arrangement of the deflection element no additional security measures must be taken.
As explained above in connection with conventional sectional doors, the traction device is expediently attached to the one on the door leaf End opposite end to a weight balancer or pretensioner coupled with which the door leaf in the closed position via the traction device in the direction is pushed to the open position, this pretensioning device at least a rotatably mounted spring shaft extending parallel to the deflection axis can have helically rotating torsion spring, on the one hand on the torsion spring shaft and on the other hand attached to a holder fixed with respect to the wall opening and in the course of a closing movement of the door leaf from the open position in the closed position is cocked. The traction means in devices according to the invention expediently at its opposite end attached to the door leaf End at a rotationally fixed with the, if necessary, facing away from the wall opening rear end of the guide rail section running parallel to the floor Spring shaft connected and preferably arranged at an axial end thereof Fixed winding drum on which the traction device during an opening movement of the door leaf is wound up. For cost reasons, it is preferred if a section of the traction means adjoining the deflection section, preferably the entire section winding section wound on the cable drum in the course of the opening movement of the traction means is formed in the form of a rope, in particular a wire rope. Execution of the winding section of the traction means in the form of a wire rope also prepares for the required tensile strength when operating gates with particularly heavy door leaves such as about industrial gates no difficulty because the winding drum is behind the rear end arranged parallel to the bottom of the guide rail section and therefore without hindering the movement of the door leaf with a special for winding thicker wire ropes can be of sufficient diameter. Here is the weight compensation device or, for example, in the form of at least one torsion spring formed biasing device expediently as well as the winding drum in the region of the rear end of the guide rail arrangement facing away from the open position intended.
For the use of a gate according to the invention with a particularly small one Headroom, i.e. at a particularly low height above the top of the available space to close the wall opening is the second Guide rail section expediently a further guide rail segment assigned, which is on the side facing away from the second section of the first Section or above the first section extends approximately parallel to it and one then in the direction of the edge facing the closed position or includes the upper edge of the wall opening extending end portion, this further Guide rail segment for guiding one on the last during the closing movement Door leaf element and in the closed position uppermost door leaf element fastened guide element serves. The deflecting element is expediently on the sectional door leaf facing inner side of this end portion, the deflection axis is on the side of the end section facing away from the arcuate section and the deflecting element preferably overlaps the end section at least partially.
In the course of the opening movement, the last one runs through this movement Door leaf element, to which the traction means is also attached, part of the arcuate section the guide rails and moves away from the wall opening. In this Case, a significant tractive force can still be exerted on the door leaf, if the lower edge of the last during the closing movement or in the closed position the bottom door leaf element has already moved away from the wall opening when the deflecting element in a direction perpendicular to the wall opening at a distance of the wall opening is arranged. In this case, trouble-free movement of the Door leaf in particular of the closing movement last door leaf element in one of the Closed position approximate position of the door leaf can be ensured that the attached to this door leaf element and from the further guide rail segment guided guide element via a traction means at least in the closed position Fastening receiving slot fastened to this door leaf element is.

in Fig. 2 dargestellten Führungsschienen bzw.
Each of the
20 vorgegebenen Bahn verlaufende Achse 34 wendelförmig umlaufende Torsionsfeder
halten. The weight compensation device of the sectional door shown in Fig. 1 is in
Area of the rear end of the guide rail section facing away from the
In the embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing, this includes
Traction means 40 a winding section formed in the form of a
120.As can be seen particularly clearly in FIGS. 1 and 5, is the additional pretensioning device
coupled to the
Fig. 5a).
The
In the phase of the closing movement shown in FIG. 5 a, the
In the phase of the closing movement shown in FIG. 5c, that on the rear
End of the
The braking or acceleration of the rear end just described
the
In addition to the function of the additional pretensioning device just explained

The invention is not based on the embodiment explained with reference to the drawing limited. Rather, there is also the use of gates according to the invention with more than four Door leaf elements thought. In addition, the drive in the area of the deflecting element also by a non-positive attack of a drive device on the traction means, such as about by a friction wheel. In addition, the use of traction means is also considered, in which the deflection section in the form of a toothed belt and / or in the form of several wire ropes running parallel to each other in the pulling direction are realized. Furthermore the additional biasing device can also be an elastic one instead of a compression spring Include element made of an elastomeric material and / or to a guide roller or Grip the guide roller holder of the door leaf.
