Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a baseboard for bridging a joint in one Floor with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and the Claim 2.
Such skirting boards are known per se. They serve as bridging a joint in a floor, for example at a transition from one Floor covering (e.g. parquet) to another floor covering (e.g. tiles), at the transition from one room to another room or to Laying an edge of a carpet on a floor. The different floor coverings can have different heights, so that a step must also be bridged at the joint.
From US-A-5 657 598 a two-part skirting board is known, which has a Hinge for connecting the cover profile strip with the holder. The hinge has a cylindrical hinge shaft which is integrally formed with the holder and also has rounded ribs integrally formed on the cover profile strip, which form a groove so that the cover profile bar can be snapped onto the holder is. The disadvantage is that a height adjustment and position determination of the articulated Cover profile strip is not possible.
Damit sind dem Ausgleich von Höhenunterschieden bestimmte Grenzen gesetzt.EP-A-0 801 187 describes a baseboard whose cover profile is attached to a fastening element is pivotally mounted with a ball head. This skirting board too does not allow height adjustment and no definition of the pivoting of the cover profile. This means that there are certain limits to compensating for height differences set.
The invention has for its object to propose a baseboard, the one has good adaptability to different levels of flooring and can be set in the desired position.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1. The Floor skirting has a hinge with one in the longitudinal direction of the floor skirting running hinge shaft on which the cover profile strip via screws is set. The screws according to Figures 1 to 3 self-determining are formed, penetrate into the groove and finally into the wall of the hinge shaft and push the groove of the hinge shaft apart. It is obvious that the hinge shaft is largely locked in its position, and the cover profile strip is secured against lifting. The altitude of the Cover profile strip will depend on how deep the screw is in the hinge shaft groove is turned. The cover profile strip has a molded on its underside Bridge on the section of the screw through the cover profile is completely cut away to the screw when setting the cover profile and not to hinder when screwing into the hinge shaft groove. The bridge is a spring formed into a groove and used to align the profile strip, thus for the screw the groove is found well. After unscrewing the screws, the cover profile strip can be removed can be detached from the holder non-destructively.
Alternatively, the object is also achieved with the features of claim 2. The on The molded-on cover profile spring has a special gripping unit with which they are in the groove of the swivel axis, which groove is formed accordingly can hold on. Since the latching connection, for example, engages behind with a toothing If there is a locking lug, this enables the cover profile strip to be attached quickly on the holder by simply pressing in without screwing in the desired Height, with the cover profile strip aligning itself in the desired position and remains. The catch has the advantage that the cover profile strip without damage the locking connection can be removed from the holder.
The baseboard according to the invention can have a number of individual holders that distributed in the longitudinal direction of the baseboard in the joint in the floor. Preferably, the baseboard has a continuous in its longitudinal direction as Profile bar trained holder.
In addition to the pivoting ability, a height adjustment option for the baseboard to create, the cheeks of the groove are provided with longitudinal teeth, on which there is a holding means, preferably one on the free longitudinal edge of the spring molded, cross-section locking element can hold. By different deep insertion of the tongue into the groove, with each of the locking element hooked, a height of the cover profile can be above a base of the joint, in the the holder of the skirting board is fixed.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the baseboard has a support for the cover profile strip, which the cover profile strip should occur on the installed baseboard supports stably.
The hinge of the baseboard has one embodiment of the invention Hinge shaft with cylindrical surface on opposite sides. On Other surface sections, the hinge shaft from the cylindrical shape differ. With its cylindrical surfaces, the hinge shaft lies in an Ω-shaped Groove that has an undercut due to its cross-sectional shape, in the pivoting hinge shaft.
In the embodiment of the invention, the hinge shaft can be made in one piece with the cover profile strip or the holder, so that the baseboard is in two parts. The Hinge shaft is in this case, for example, by a spherical design of Side surfaces of a web formed, which is integral with the cover profile or the Holder is. With its spherical side surfaces, the web lies in the Ω-shaped groove of the each other part of the baseboard. Another embodiment of the invention provides the hinge shaft as a separate part of the baseboard.

The
The
in Längsrichtung verlaufende Verzahnung aufweisen.
The
