Description

The invention relates to a holding element made of spring steel or plastic for releasable attachment of Cover strips on a wall, to cover the transition between a wall and a floor panel o. Like., The holding element means for its attachment to the floor panel or the like. and means for releasably holding the cover strip.

Cover strips are used as skirting boards in the floor area to mark the transition between the Cover the floor and the wall or as cover strips for the transition between a wall and a ceiling panel or worktop.

Such cover strips have previously been nailed or screwed directly to the wall or under Interposition of clips that are attached to the wall. This is done using clips that Have spring tongues which engage or engage in recesses in the cover strip, so that the Cover strip can be quickly removed and re-installed if necessary.

The disadvantage is that holes have to be drilled in the wall. This is complex and does not make it possible always a precise mounting of the cover strip.

From the European patent application EP 0 900 897 A2 a mounting system for skirting boards according to the preamble of claim 1 known, in which no hole in the wall is required. This System consists of two parts, namely a U-shaped clip, which is similar to a tablecloth holder from the Front side of a floor panel is clipped on and an L-shaped spring profile that in a U_shaped Insert slot of the clip is inserted and has an upward pointing leg on the after plugging the two parts onto the floor panel the skirting board, which has a slot on it has lower narrow side, is placed. According to a variant, the skirting has an integrally formed Insert spring that is inserted into the insertion groove of the clip and thus holds the skirting board.

A disadvantage of this system is that the holding element consists of two parts or only in connection with a bar that has a molded insert spring can be used and not a device has a secure hold of the bar and pressing the top edge of the bar against the wall guaranteed. If the expansion joint between the wall and floor slab is enlarged, there is namely the risk that the U-shaped clip no longer lies fully against the wall, but that there is a gap to the wall trains and this gap also appears between the skirting board and the wall.

The object of the invention is therefore to propose a holding element for a cover strip that is simple is to be produced, which does not require any fastening holes in the wall, and which ensures that the strips are held precisely causes and that allows a detachable attachment of the strips.

This object is achieved in that the holding element as a one-piece clip is formed, or the like for installation from the end face of the floor panel. this is clipped onto that the holding element is a wall plate which abuts the wall in the installed state of the holding element, and a has from the wall plate approximately at right angles protruding clamping plate, which in the installed state of Holding element on the underside of the floor panel or the like. That the wall plate at least one has the first support leg, the upper and middle part located away from the clamping plate is assigned to the wall plate and starts from there in the installed state of the holding element the top of the floor panel or the like. so that these parts of the wall plate towards the wall be applied that the wall plate has at least a second resilient support leg, the is assigned to the lower part of the wall plate closer to the clamping plate and from there starting in the installed state of the holding element on the end face of the floor panel or the like. so supports that this lower part of the wall plate is applied towards the wall, and that the Wall plate has at least one resilient retaining tongue protruding from it, the free end of which Cover strip is releasably attachable.

The holding element according to the invention is easy to assemble and ensures a secure detachable Attachment of various cover strips. The mounting element is easy to assemble from the front to clip onto a floor panel, a ceiling panel or a worktop. The first support leg, which rests with its lower free end on the top of the floor panel ensures in Connection with the clamping leg resting on the underside of the panel ensures secure attachment of the holding element on the panel. In this assembled state, the wall plate of the holding element rests the wall. The first support leg ensures that the wall plate in its from the clamping plate distant areas is pressed against the wall, while the second support leg, which is resiliently against the face of the panel, ensures that the wall plate also with your Clamping plate closer area is pressed against the wall.

This second resilient support leg is designed with regard to its shape and spring properties so that it is adapted to the expansion joint existing between the wall and the end face of the first floor panel and bridges it so that the wall plate with its lower parts is always on regardless of the movements in the expansion joint the wall is pressed and therefore lies fully against it. First and foremost, this also ensures that the assembled skirting board also always lies fully against the wall. The first support leg is shaped and designed in such a way that it exerts a support force which, starting from its lower free end resting on the upper side of the floor panel, runs obliquely upwards towards the upper or middle region of the wall plate. This ensures, on the one hand, that the upper and middle area of the wall plate always lies fully against the wall. On the other hand, the holding element is fixed to the base plate by the lower free end of the first support leg resting on the base panel. In connection with the clamping plate resting on the lower side of the base panel. The pressure exerted by the first support leg on the top of the floor panel is such that the wall plate is always pressed against the wall, but on the other hand the holding element on the floor panel can be automatically shifted under the spring force exerted by the second support leg. if there are movements in the expansion joint and these are compensated for by the second resilient support leg.
For assembly, the holding element is plugged onto the panel closest to the wall. Then this panel is laid in the usual way and finally the cover strip is snapped onto or onto the holding tongues of the holding element. The shape and number of retaining tongues is chosen so that they can interact with the selected type of cover strip. In practice, holding elements can thus be produced with different types of holding tongues, so that an easy adaptation to the cover strip used in each case is possible.

A holding element is particularly advantageous in which the wall plate has a holding tongue arranged in the upper part and a resilient holding tongue arranged in the lower part, and the holding tongue in the upper part of the wall plate has a leg protruding from the wall plate at a right angle or at an angle thereto and one from the leg bent engagement end, wherein the engagement end is bent upwards and in particular towards the wall plate, and the retaining tongue in the lower part of the wall plate has a leg protruding from the wall plate at a right angle or at an angle thereto and an engagement end bent from the leg, the engagement end is bent obliquely downwards and outwards away from the wall plate. A holding element designed in this way cooperates particularly advantageously with a cover strip which has recesses aligned in accordance with the bending of the gripping ends, so that the upper holding tongue acts on the cover strip in the direction of the wall and the lower holding tongue acts on the cover strip in the direction of the floor.
It is particularly advantageous if two first support legs are provided, which are arranged mirror-symmetrically on the two vertical edges of the wall plate and are designed as support flaps bent approximately at right angles from these vertical edges, and if two second resilient support legs are provided, which are mirror-symmetrical in the lower one Clamping plate adjacent part of the wall plate are arranged on the two vertical edges and are formed as support tongues bent forward from these vertical edges at an acute angle to the plane of the wall plate.
In this embodiment, the holding element can be made in one piece from a spring steel plate.
Further advantageous refinements are specified in the remaining dependent claims.

The holding element 1 is designed as a one-piece clip made of spring steel or plastic. The holding element has a vertical wall plate 5, which in the installed state of the holding element
abuts the wall 3. A clamping leg 6 protrudes essentially at right angles from the wall plate and engages under a floor panel 4 in the installed state and rests on the underside of the panel. A flap-like first support leg 7, 8 is arranged on each of the two vertical edges of the wall plate and is bent forward approximately at a right angle from the wall plate. Each support leg 7, 8 has an approximately trapezoidal shape and lies with its lower free tip in the installed state of the holding element on the top of the panel 4 in such a way that the upper and middle area of the wall plate is pressed against the wall. As can be seen in particular from Figures 2 and 3, each first support leg 7, 8 lies with its lower free tip on the top of the floor panel and the lower edge of each support leg runs obliquely upwards towards the clamping plate and apart from the tip, has a punctiform support forms, no contact with the top of the floor panel. This shape of the first support leg results in a force result, which, starting from this lower free tip, is directed obliquely upwards towards the wall plate and thus presses the middle and upper region of the wall plate towards the wall. According to an alternative, not shown, each first support leg could also be tongue-shaped and, starting from the middle or upper area of the wall plate, run obliquely downwards towards the top of the floor panel and rest with its free end, which is bent flat, on the floor panel. It is important in this context that the first support legs firstly press the wall plate in its upper region against the wall and secondly hold the holding element together with the clamping plate 6 on the floor panel in such a way that the holding element can automatically shift relative to the floor panel if there are movements in the expansion joint between the wall and the front of the floor panel. In its lower area near the connection to the clamping plate 6, the wall plate has a second resilient support leg 9, 10 at each of its two vertical edges, which is bent slightly forwards at an acute angle to the plane of the wall plate, and the free end of which is bent again is that these two support legs are supported in the installed state of the holding element against the end face of the floor panel and thereby press the wall plate in its lower area against the wall. These second resilient support legs are designed with regard to their shape and spring properties so that they bridge the expansion joint that is always present between the front wall of the first floor panel and the wall and adapt to the movements in the expansion joint and, regardless of the respective size of the expansion joint, the wall plate against the Press the wall so that the wall plate is always fully against the wall.

Bei Längenveränderungen des Bodenpaneels infolge Temperatur- und Feuchtigskeitschwankungen kann sich das Halteelement gegenüber dem Bodenpaneel verschieben, so dass es immer auf Grund der Beaufschlagung durch die Stützschenkel mit seiner Wandplatte an der Wand anliegtChanges in the length of the floor panel as a result of fluctuations in temperature and humidity can occur move the retaining element in relation to the floor panel, so that it is always due to the Acting through the support leg with its wall plate abuts the wall

On the wall plate is now a resilient in the upper and in the lower area of the wall plate Retaining tongue 11,12 arranged, each protruding from the wall plate to the front and the free Ends are bent. The upper retaining tongue 11 is slightly upward starting from the wall plate bent and the free end of this retaining tongue is also bent upward, approximately parallel to Wall plate, or it can also be directed inwards towards the wall plate.

The same applies to the lower, more upwardly bent retaining tongue 12, the end of which engages slightly or is bent more outwards and downwards towards the floor panel.

In this way, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the two holding tongues can be particularly advantageous a cover strip 2 cooperate, which runs on its back in the longitudinal direction of the bar Has recesses in the form of grooves, grooves or notches, which are aligned with respect to their inclination are that when the retaining tongues engage, the upper retaining tongue 11 presses the bar in the direction of wall 3 and the lower retaining tongue 12 acts on the bar in the direction of the floor panel 5. After assembling the Retaining element on the floor panel only needs the cover strip with the retaining tongues to lock to be brought. The interaction of holding tongues and recesses in the cover strip is such that the cover strip for inspection purposes or the like. can be easily removed and reassembled later can.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the holding tongues have a different inclination from the wall plate starting as in the example of Figure 2, and the free ends of the retaining tongues are also in another Angle bent.

While in the embodiment of Figure 2, the upper retaining tongue is only slightly inclined upwards and that free end of the tongue is bent upwards and the lower retaining tongue is inclined more upwards with a free end bent obliquely outwards and downwards, it is in the exemplary embodiment the figure 3 roughly reversed. There the upper retaining tongue is inclined strongly upwards with a slant free end bent outwards and downwards, while the lower retaining tongue is only a moderate one Has an upward slope and its free end is bent upwards. By equipping them with such Holding tongues can be used in practice in the holding element according to the invention with the one shown in FIG. 3 interact cover strip used.

To hold the cover strip, several holding elements are clipped onto the cover strip, the number the holding elements and their mutual longitudinal distance to the cover strip used and their Length can be adjusted.

The holding element described above is particularly simple in one piece from a spring steel plate manufacture. The plate is first made with appropriate cuts for the support legs and the Holding tongues and then in several steps, the plate to that in Figures 1 and 3rd shown shape bent.

Of course, the holding element with other than those shown in Figures 1 to 3 Retaining tongues are equipped with the respective length, inclination, turn, etc. used type of cover strip can be adapted. It is important that the retaining tabs with the Recesses on the cover strip can interact to secure, releasable attachment of the Ensure ledge. For example, 3, the lower resilient retaining tongue also in start about halfway up the wall plate or even further up and then one of have outgoing, more or less sloping downward legs. The end this leg is then to an engaging end with a slot of the cover strip engaging end bent, e.g. up or down. The legs of the holding tongues can also be one have a cranked shape. Also the shape and length of the support legs and the angle at which the Support legs are bent from the wall plate, can be adapted to the respective circumstances become.

The first support leg can also be designed such. B. by recesses in the Support legs that space for the laying of cables, pipes or the like. exists behind the Cover strip can be guided concealed. The clamping plate 6 could also have an opened shape e.g. instead of a continuous plate, separate clamping tabs could also be provided.

Furthermore, the holding element for fastening not only skirting boards for floors, but also can be used for ceiling moldings or for worktops. In the case of ceiling moldings, the holding element is on the ceiling panel to mount that the clamping plate 6 on the invisible side of the ceiling panel is applied.
