Dispositif générateur de brouillard destiné notamment à équiper les véhicules de lutte contre les incendies dans les tunnels, grâce à la création d'un écran constitué par des jets de brouillard.

Description

La présente invention est relative à un dispositif pour la production d'un jet de gouttelettes d'eau, afin que ce jet crée un rideau de brume constituant, notamment, un moyen de lutte contre les fumées issues d'un incendie, les poussières atmosphériques, les aérosols toxiques, les « nuages de gaz », les fumées ou nuages pulvérulents, notamment dans les tunnel.
Le dispositif selon l'invention a été mis au point au cours d'études pour la mise en oeuvre des procédés de brouillard d'eau décrits notamment dans les documents FR6A62.624.750 et 2.672.808.
Lorsqu'on veut lutter, en particulier, contre les fumées d'un incendie, il est avantageux de créer un barrage contre les fumées à l'aide d'un nuage de gouttelettes qui forme une véritable » barrière » sur une hauteur et une largeur suffisante. Il est donc nécessaire de mettre rapidement en oeuvre un dispositif permettant la production et la projection de jet de gouttelettes disposées de façon à occuper de préférence 180°.
La présente invention a pour but non seulement d'augmenter considérablement la sécurité mais aussi de faciliter grandement la rapidité de mise en oeuvre, ce qui est primordial pour ce type de dispositif d'urgence.
Pour obtenir ce résultat, l'invention fournit un dispositif pour la production de jet de gouttelettes permettant la création d'un véritable écran, le dispositif de l'invention comprenant une série de moyens de projection de jets gouttelettes disposées de façon à créer un écran à 180°.
Ce dispositif est constitué d'une chambre réservoir en demi-cercle depuis laquelle partent des tubes télescopiques de longueurs variables selon les besoins. En effet on adaptera la longueur des tubes télescopiques aux besoins du problème. Le réservoir est relié à une source de liquide sous pression.
Les tubes télescopiques sont équipés de joints toriques permettant d'une part un coulissement aisé et une parfaite étanchéité. On comprend que ces tubes qui s'emboitent les uns dans les autres ont une taille variable selon les besoins, ces tubes comportent des buses génératrices de brouillard d'eau réparties de façon à créer un écran à 180° , On utilisera de préférence des buses à 180° pour les buses intermédiaires et 120° pour les buses installées à l'extrémité des tubes télescopiques.
Afin de répartir au mieux les jets de brouillard les tubes télescopiques seront répartis sur le réservoir comme les rayons d'une moitié de roue de bicyclette, à une distance les un des autres suffisante pour qu'ils ne se gênent pas entre eux.
L'invention prévoit que le dispositif soit équipé des moyens de fixations les mieux adaptés, notamment pour être fixées sur un véhicule routier ou ferroviaire.
On conçoit que la fabrication, l'installation et la mise en oeuvre du dispositif est facile, une fois mis en place à demeure, ou selon les besoins, le dispositif une fois raccordé par une canalisation au réservoir du véhicule ou à une autre source de liquide sous pression, une vanne manuelle ou automatique, permet la mise en charge du dispositif, le réservoir du dispositif se remplit, le liquide met en charge les tubes télescopiques qui se déployent et s'échappe sous forme de jets de gouttelettes au travers des buses qui équipent les tubes. Une fois déployé le dispositif ressemble à une sorte d'éventail générant un brouillard d'eau formant rideau.
L'objet principal de la présente invention est de pouvoir générer un brouillard d'eau de façon à perturber le moins possible le milieu, par exemple l'atmosphère d'un tunnel ou d'un hangar, tout en empêchant les fumées et autres aérosols, de s'expanser dans le volume.
Dans le cas d'un incendie de tunnel par exemple le dispositif permettra :
  • de contenir les fumées et le rayonnement thermique,
  • de réduire la propagation d'un polluant chimique ou de micro-particules
  • de protéger et assurer en meilleure sécurité les usagers et faciliter l'accès des services de secours.
On comprend aisément que ce type de dispositif peut être réaliser avec des tubes non télescopiques et être installé sous forme fixe.

Claims (2)

  1. Dispositif télescopique ou non caractérisé en ce qu'il utilise le brouillard d'eau afin créer un écran de 180° pour lutter contre les effets d'un incendie notamment en tunnel.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte
    un réservoir en forme de demi-cercle depuis lequel partent des tubes télescopiques ou non
    des buses génératrices de brouillard.
