The radiant heating device according to the invention shown in Figure 1, includes a base 2 under which are fixed rollers 4 facilitating the movement of the heating device.

The base 2 is surmounted by a removable cover 6 making it possible to hide the location of a gas supply source such as gas cylinder.

A tube 8 is fixed on the base 2 and extends vertically towards the top of the radiant heater.

Le tube 8 est télescopique et comporte à cet effet un tube intérieur 8a, un tube supérieur 8b et un écrou de blocage 10 du coulissement du tube supérieur 8b par rapport au tube inférieur 8a.The tube 8 is telescopic and for this purpose comprises a tube interior 8a, an upper tube 8b and a locking nut 10 of the sliding of the upper tube 8b relative to the lower tube 8a.

An upper base 12 is mounted on the upper end of the tube 8, in this case the upper tube 8b, and comprises a first tap 14 and a second tap 16 controlling the operation of the device heating.

The latter also includes a lighting lamp 18 operating on gas and mounted on the upper base 12. The lamp lighting 18 is surmounted by a heat shield 20. Two arms 22 integral with the upper base 12 extend symmetrically upwards from the latter.

Le dispositif chauffant radiant conforme à l'invention comporte également un sous-ensemble chauffant comprenant notamment un réflecteur thermique 30 et un brûleur à gaz 40 solidaire dudit réflecteur thermique 30.The radiant heating device according to the invention comprises also a heating sub-assembly comprising in particular a thermal reflector 30 and a gas burner 40 integral with said reflector thermal 30.

The gas burner 40 is a burner operating for example at pressures of the order of 28 mbar.

The latter is articulated on the arms 22 by means of articulations at axis 24. The gas burner 40 is advantageously protected by a grid of protection 50 so as to avoid any accidental contact with said burner gas 40.

The heating subassembly thus comprising the burner 40 fixed on the thermal reflector 30 is capable of being pivoted about an axis horizontal defined by the articulations with axis 24 and maintained in a angular position determined by blocking means. These latter are for example made with self-locking axis 24 joints.

The thermal reflector 30 has a concave shape delimiting a internal space in which the gas burner 40 is fixed and centered. The shape concave of the thermal reflector 30 is for example a shape parabolic. The radiant heater also has a conduit gas supply not shown, one end of which is connected to the burner 40 via an injector 42 and a burner tube 44; and whose other end is intended to be connected to the gas supply source, of the gas cylinder type.

The gas supply duct is arranged at least for part in the tube 8 and in one of the arms 22. The burner tube 44 advantageously extends partly outside the reflector thermal 30 and is protected by a cover 32 whose constituent material withstands high temperatures. The first 14 and second 16 tap control are advantageously mounted on a control box 17 integrated in the upper base 2.

Le conduit d'alimentation en gaz s'étend ensuite à l'intérieur d'un bras 22 jusque vers un embout porte-injecteur 44 traversant le réflecteur thermique 30.The gas supply conduit integrated in the tube 8 is thus connected to the control unit 17 using a tip 17a and a connecting tube 17b. The gas supply duct then extends to the inside of an arm 22 as far as a through nozzle nozzle 44 the thermal reflector 30.

Le pivot 24 correspondant est également conçu avec un passage 25 permettant au conduit d'alimentation en gaz de s'étendre jusque vers l'embout porte-injecteur 43 (figures 2 et 3).The corresponding pivot 24 is also designed with a passage 25 allowing the gas supply duct to extend up to the nozzle holder nozzle 43 (Figures 2 and 3).

The burner tube 44, extending partly outside the thermal reflector 30, passes through the latter substantially at its center to open into the burner 40.

The radiant heater shown in Figure 4 includes a helical spring 9 extending inside the lower tube 8a and the upper tube 8b, and in support at each of its ends on said tube lower 8a and said upper tube 8b so as to be compressed by a retraction of the upper tube 8b into the lower tube 8a.

Le ressort 9 permet ainsi d'amortir la chute du tube supérieur 8b supportant la base supérieure 12, la lampe 18, le réflecteur thermique 30 et le brûleur 40 en cas de desserrage accidentel de l'écrou de blocage 10, et il facilite la levée du tube supérieur 8b.The spring 9 thus makes it possible to absorb the fall of the upper tube 8b supporting the upper base 12, the lamp 18, the thermal reflector 30 and the burner 40 in the event of accidental loosening of the locking nut 10, and it facilitates the lifting of the upper tube 8b.

Le réflecteur thermique 30 est également pourvu d'orifices d'évacuation de fumées de combustion réparties symétriquement autour de l'ouverture de passage du tube de brûleur 44.The thermal reflector 30 is also provided with orifices of flue gases distributed symmetrically around the opening for the passage of the burner tube 44.

The evacuation of such combustion fumes makes it possible to avoid their suction inside the burner 40 and not to alter the operation or performance of said burner 40.

The heat shield 20 (Figure 2) is mounted on the lamp 18 to using elastic parts 19, facing the burner 40 secured to the reflector thermal screen 30. The thermal screen 20 is for example made up of a metal plate.

The lamp 18 also has a protective glass 18c held on the base upper 12 using complementary elastic parts 19a.

Le boítier de commande 17 est pourvu d'un interrupteur de sécurité 17a permettant de couper automatiquement l'alimentation en gaz en cas de chute ou un basculement d'au moins 30° du dispositif chauffant radiant (figure 5).The control box 17 is provided with a switch safety 17a allowing the gas supply to be cut off automatically in the event of a fall or tilting of the heating device at least 30 ° radiant (Figure 5).

Cette dernière traverse une partie de la pièce 26 et l'extrémité 22a du bras 22.The radiant heating device is shown partially and in section in FIG. 3 which shows the pivot 24 in greater detail. The latter is consisting of the end 22a of the arm 22 and a complementary part 26 secured to the heat shield 30. The end 22a of the arm 22 and the part 26 are capable of pivoting with respect to one another according to a horizontal axis materialized by a screw 27. The latter crosses a part of the part 26 and the end 22a of the arm 22.

The screw 27 is mounted on the end 22a and is associated with a clamping spring 28. Screw 27 is tightened with a nut self-locking 27a. The support of the clamping spring 28 between the head of the screw 27 and an internal wall 26b of the part 26) as well as the support of the nut self-locking 27a on the end 22a makes it possible to obtain a degree of tightening, and therefore a variable pivoting ease of the reflector thermal 30 relative to arm 22.

An opening 26a is provided in the part 26 so as to allow the gas supply conduit to pass through passage 25 and said opening 26a whatever the angular orientation position of the thermal reflector 30 relative to arm 22.

Le pivot 24 forme une articulation autobloquante. The pivot 24 forms a self-locking articulation.

The burner 40 shown enlarged in Figure 6 is described in detail below.

The burner 40 is for example fixed under the reflector thermal 30 using spacers 45 and corresponding screws 45a, which pass through the wall of the thermal reflector 30. The burner 40 is thus optimally positioned in the volume delimited by the reflector thermal 30.

The latter defines a substantially horizontal fixing plate 46b, provided with a feed opening 46c traversed by the end 44a of the burner tube 44. The end 44a of the burner tube 44 passes through preferably the upper cup 46 so as to better distribute the combustion in the burner 40.

Ce dernier est pourvu au voisinage de son extrémité d'un collet 44b prenant appui sur la plaque de fixation 46b et permettant une fixation par sertissage du tube de brûleur 44 sur la coupelle supérieure 46.The latter is provided near its end with a collar 44b bearing on the fixing plate 46b and allowing a fixing by crimping the burner tube 44 on the upper cup 46.

The upper cup 46 also has an edge folded peripheral 46d. The burner 40 also includes a grid inner 47 frustoconical, the large base of which is closed by the cup upper, said inner grid 47 being fixed under said cup upper 46 and its small base being produced by a cup lower 49.

Attaching the inner grid 47 to the upper cup 46 is done for example by crimping the folded edge 46d. The interior grille 47 also has a dropped edge allowing it to be fixed on the lower cup, for example using welding spots. The burner 40 further comprises a frustoconical external grid 48 whose large base is open and has a spacing with the upper cup 46 of so as to provide a smoke extraction slot 40a between the two grids 47, 48. The slot 40a allows better evacuation of the fumes and combustion is thus optimized.

La petite base de la grille extérieure 48 est réalisée par le matériau constitutif de la grille extérieure 48 et présente un diamètre plus grand que celui de la petite base de la grille intérieure 47.The small base of the external grid 48 is produced by the constituent material of the outer grid 48 and has a larger diameter larger than that of the small base of the inner grid 47.

La coupelle inférieure 49 permet de focaliser le maximum de rayonnement thermique sur les faces latérales des grilles 47 et 48.The substantially flat lower cup 49 extends over the face interior of the small base of the exterior grid 48 and makes the connection mechanical between the two grids 47 and 48, for example via of solder points. The lower cup 49 also makes it possible to create a screen by the burner 40. The lower cup 49 makes it possible to focus the maximum thermal radiation on the side faces of grids 47 and 48.

The interior 47 and exterior 48 grids have faces corresponding lateral or frustoconical 47a 48a whose spacing is between 5 mm and 8 mm. In operation the internal grid 47 reaches a temperature of 800 ° to 850 ° C so as to radiate energy thermal. The external grid 48 makes it possible to channel the fumes from combustion and reflect some of the heat radiation on the grid interior 47, thereby increasing the temperature of said interior grid 47. The spacing between the inner grid 47 and the inner grid 48 allows thus optimizing combustion hygiene on the one hand and radiation thermal on the other hand.

Advantageously, the frustoconical faces 47a 48a can present a variable spacing between them when moving along said frustoconical faces 47a and 48a, so as to improve the homogenization of the temperature of said grids.

The external grid 48 is made with a metal deployed by example in stainless steel whose permeability is respectively between 45% and 55%. The inner grid 47 is made with a sheet perforated by example in stainless steel whose permeability is between 15% and 25%.

Le brûleur 40 est également associé à un dispositif d'allumage 60 comprenant notamment une électrode 61 (figure 3).The burner 40 is also associated with a device ignition 60 comprising in particular an electrode 61 (Figure 3).

A handling handle 33 is provided on the reflector thermal 30 for this purpose. The thermal reflector 30 is for example made of aluminum, polished on the reflective side.

The shape of the thermal reflector 30, associated with the construction of the gas burner 40 directs the thermal radiation towards a annular zone extending around a so-called "cold" cone of approximately 40 ° and the top of which would be in the center of the gas burner 40.

For example, the heated annular zone can be delimited externally by a 110 ° cone, the apex of which is in the center of the burner 40. From this 110 ° cone, subtract the 40 ° "cold" cone defined above.

The radiant heating device, placed near a table allows to heat an area where people are seated, then that a central area, for example the table and what rests on it, is less heated. The radiant heating device thus makes it possible to heat selectively certain privileged areas compared to others.

La répartition du rayonnement thermique est en outre améliorée par l'orientation du réflecteur thermique 30.The distribution of thermal radiation is further improved by the orientation of the thermal reflector 30.

The cone called "cold", corresponding to a central zone not or very little heating also prevents overheating important of the lighting lamp 18.

In addition, when the thermal reflector 30 is in a substantially horizontal position, the heat shield 20 contributes to obtaining a central cold zone, previously defined as a cone.

On obtient alors une surface rayonnante, constituée par la face tronconique 47a de 520 cm2.According to an exemplary embodiment of the burner 40, the upper cup 46 and the lower cup 49 have a diameter of 246 mm and 84 mm respectively, and a mutual spacing of 62 mm. A radiating surface is then obtained, constituted by the frustoconical face 47a of 520 cm 2 .
