Abstract
Bei einem Brenner (10) zur Erzeugung eines Heissgases, welcher Brenner (10) mit einem von einer Austrittskante (16, 17) berandeten Brenneraustritt (22) in einen Brennraum (23) mündet, in welchem ein aus dem Brenneraustritt (22) unter Ausbildung einer Abströmgrenzschicht (18') ausströmendes Brennstoff-Luft-Gemisch nach dem Zünden des Brenners (10) eine Flamme (20) ausbildet, wird der Brennvorgang dadurch verbessert, dass zur Verhinderung von periodischen Wärmefreisetzungen und damit verbundenen thermoakustischen Schwingungen im Brennraum (23) am Brenneraustritt (22) Mittel (21) zur Aenderung der Dicke der Abströmgrenzschicht (18') angeordnet sind.
