Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bürste, insbesondere WC-Bürste, mit einem Bürstenkopf und einem Bürstenkopfhalter, wobei der Bürstenkopf lösbar unter Reibungsschluß auf den Bürstenkopfhalter aufschiebbar ist, und wobei der Bürstenkopfhalter einen Abwurimechanismus für den Bürstenkopf aurweist.
Eine solche Bürste ist aus der US-A-26 10 347 bekannt, wobei der Abwurfmechanismus aus einer Stange besteht, die in einem Rohr des Bürstenhalters geführt ist und von einem Druckknopf betätigt wird, wobei die Stange in einen Hohlraum des Bürstenkopfes eingeschoben werden kann, um ihn abzuwerfen.
Herkömmliche Bürsten, insbesondere WC-Bürsten, stellen ein hygienisches Problem dar, da der Bürstenkopf einen guten Nährboden für Bakterien und Pilze darstellt. Dies führt neben dem unansehnlichen Aussehen der Bürste nach mehrmaligem Gebrauch auch zu gesundheitlicher Gefährdung des Benutzers.
Aus der DE 33 20 586 A1 ist eine WC-Bürste bekannt, die einen zweigeteilten Bürstenkopf aufweist, wovon ein Teil fix am Stiel der WC-Bürste befestigt und der andere Teil abschraubbar und austauschbar ist. Dieser Konstruktion liegt der Gedanke zugrunde, daß die Bürste am Kopfteil stärker abgenutzt wird als am rückwärtigen Ende. Da jedoch stets nur ein Teil des Bürstenkopfes ausgetauscht wird, besteht weiterhin das Problem der Bakterienbildung an der Bürste. Keimfreiheit kann somit nicht erzielt werden. Außerdem muß zum Abschrauben des vorderen Bürstenteiles dieser stets mit der Hand angefaßt werden, was äußerst unhygienisch ist.
Die vorliegende Erfindung löst die genannten Probleme durch Bereitstellen einer Bürste der eingangs angeführten Art, bei der der Abwurfmechanismus eine auf einem Stiel gleitbare Hülse, die von einem Druckknopf bewegbar ist, umfaßt. Dadurch ist es möglich, den gesamten gebrauchten Bürstenkopf gegen einen neuen, keimfreien auszutauschen. Der gebrauchte Bürstenkopf muß dabei nicht von Hand angeraßt werden, wie im folgenden gezeigt werden wird. Der Abwurfmechanismus kann weiters als Anschlag zur Begrenzung des Aufschiebewegs des Bürstenkopfs auf den Bürstenkopfhalter dienen.
Vorzugsweise weist der Druckknopf einen Fortsatz auf, der mittelbar oder unmittelbar mit dem Abwurfmechanismus verbunden ist. Dieser Fortsatz sollte biegsam sein, um auch bei einem gekröpften Stiel verwendbar zu sein. Alternativ dazu kann anstelle des Fortsatzes ein Draht mittelbar oder unmittelbar mit dem Abwurfmechanismus verbunden sein. Die Kröpfung des Stiels bewirkt, daß auch schwer zugängliche Bereiche an WC-Muscheln und dergleichen gereinigt werden können.
Um eine feste Verbindung zwischen Bürstenkopf und Bürstenkopfhalter zu gewährleisten, kann der Bürstenkopfhalter einen Arretiermechanismus aufweisen. Dieser umfaßt vorzugsweise zumindest eine ausfahrbare Kugel bzw. einen ausfahrbaren Zapfen.
Eine besonders bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bürstenkopf ein entsorgbarer Einweg-Bürstenkopf ist. Dadurch ist es beispielsweise bei WC-Bürsten möglich, den Bürstenkopf über das WC zu entsorgen, ohne mit ihm direkt in Kontakt zu kommen.
Ein Bürstenkopf der erfindungsgemäßen Bürste umfaßt zweckmäßig Borsten aus abbaubarem Material, insbesondere Papier. Die Borsten können an einem Montageelement, insbesondere einer Aufnahmehülse, aus abbaubarem Material, insbesondere aus Papier, angeordnet sein. Eine bevorzugte Ausgestaltung des Bürstenkopfes ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Aufnahmehülse hohlyzylindrisch ausgebildet ist, um auf einen zylindrischen Abschnitt des Bürstenkopfhalters aufgesteckt zu werden.
Um die Borsten des Bürstenkoptes vor der erstmaligen Verwendung zusammenzuhalten, ist eine die Borsten umgebende Schutzhülle vorgesehen.
Eine besonders vorteilhafte Herstellung des Bürstenkopfs durch Spritzgußformen wird ermöglicht, wenn der Bürstenkopf aus wasserlöslichem Kunststoff besteht. Dieser Kunststoff kann aus nachwachsenden Rohstoffen hergestellt werden.
Zur Erzielung verbesserter Reinigung, Desinfektion und hygienischer Gerüche kann der Bürstenkopf mit einem Reinigungs- und/oder Desinfektions- und/oder Duftmittel, vorzugsweise in Gelform, imprägniert sein.
Die Erfindung wird nun anhand von nicht einschränkenden Ausführungsbeispielen unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnung näher beschrieben. In den Zeichnungen sind gleiche oder funktionsgleiche Teile mit denselben Bezugszeichen versehen. Fig. 1 zeigt einen erfindungsgemäßen Bürstenkopf schematisch im Längsschnitt und Draufsicht, Fig. 2 und Fig. 3 zeigen zwei Ausführungsformen eines Bürstenkopfhalters der Erfindung im Längsschnitt. Fig.4 und Fig.5 zeigen eine weitere Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäßen Bürstenkopfhalters in Seitenansicht und Längsschnitt, Fig. 6 zeigt wiederum einen anderen erfindungsgemäßen Bürstenkopfhalter im Längsschnitt, und Fig. 7 zeigt in vier Darstellungen die Anwendung des Bürstenkopfhalters zusammen mit einem Bürstenkopfspender.
Zunächst wird auf die Figuren 1 bis 3 Bezug genommen. Die erfindungsgemäße Bürste, im dargestellten Beispiel eine WC-Bürste, besteht aus einem Bürstenkopf 10, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt und einem Bürstenkopfhalter, wie in Fig. 2 allgemein mit 20 und in Fig. 3 allgemein mit 30 bezeichnet. Der Bürstenkopf 10 ist als Einweg-Bürstenkopf ausgeführt und besteht aus einer Hülse 2, die genau auf den Bürstenkopfhalter 20, 30 passt. Gegebenenfalls kann die Hülse 2 durch ein Verlängerungsrohr aus Zellstoff oder dergleichen ergänzt werden, um auch schwer zugängliche Stellen in WC-Muscheln etc. wirkungsvoll reinigen zu können. Mit der Hülse 2 verbunden sind mehrere eingerollte Papierstreiten oder ähnliches, die als Borsten 1 dienen und von einer Schutzhülle 3 zusammengehalten werden. Vor dem Gebrauch der Einwegbürste muß die Schutzhülle 3 entfernt werden, dadurch können sich die Borsten 1 des Bürstenkopies 10 entfalten. Nach dem Gebrauch kann der Bürstenkopf mittels eines Druckknopfes 4 am Bürstenkopfhalter 20, 30 in die WC-Schüssel abgeworfen und entsorgt werden. Die Bürstenköpfe der Erfindung bestehen aus einem gut abbaubaren Material, insbesondere aus einem sich leicht in Wasser auflösenden Material, z.B. ähnlich WC - Papier. Bevorzugt bestehen die Bürstenköpfe aus Zellstoff oder einem wasserlöslichen Kunststoff, der aus nachwachsenden Rohstoffen hergestellt werden kann. Dieser wasserlösliche Kunststoff kann wie normaler Kunststoff in Spritzgußformen verarbeitet werden, bietet jedoch den Vorteil, daß Bürstenköpfe aus diesem Material aufgrund seiner Wasserlöslichkeit auch über die Toilette entsorgt werden können. Der Bürstenkopf kann weiters mit Duft-, Reinigungs- und/oder Desinfektionsmitteln imprägniert werden, wobei diese Mittel vorzugsweise in Gelform zum Einsatz kommen.
Der Bürstenkopfhalter 20, 30 besteht aus einen Stiel 5 aus Metall, PVC oder ähnlichem, auf den die Bürstenköpfe aufgesteckt werden. Der Bürstenkopfhalter besitzt einen Mechanismus 6, der das Abstreifen der Bürstenköpfe durch den Druckknopf 4 am Stiel ermöglicht. Der Bürstenkopfhalter 30 gemäß Fig. 3 besitzt darüberhinaus noch einen Kugelmechanismus 7, der den Bürstenkopf nach dem Aufstecken fest arretiert. In Fig. 2 ist eine einfachere Lösung dargestellt, die für den manuellen Gebrauch von Hand vorgesehen ist. Die Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 3 gewährleistet jedoch einen besseren Halt des Bürstenkopfes am Bürstenhalter, und ist für den Gebrauch mit einem Einweg-Bürstenkopfspender vorgesehen.
Ein solcher Einweg-Bürstenkopfspender besteht z.B. aus einem Vorratsbehälter mit mehreren Bürstenköpfen, die durch Schwerkraft oder Federkraft vor ein Entnahmeloch fallen. Rund um das Entnahmeloch können mehrere kleine Messer angebracht sein, die die Schutzhülle des Bürstenkopfes durch das Herausziehen aus dem Entnahmeloch aufreißen. Der Bürstenkopfhalter wird durch das Entnahmeloch hindurch in den Bürstenkopf gesteckt und mit dem Kugelmechanismus automatisch arretiert. Beim Herausziehen der Einwegbürste wird die Schutzhülle des Bürstenkopfes aufgerissen, und die WC-Einwegbürste ist sofort gebrauchsfertig. Dieser Vorgang ist in Fig. 7 in der Abfolge a) bis d) dargestellt. In Schritt a) wird zunächst ein Magazin für den Vorratsbehälter mit Schrauben oder alternativ dazu mit Klebestreifen an der Wand befestigt. Das Magazin weist eine herausklappbare Vorderwand auf, deren unteres Ende eine Aussparung zum Einführen des Bürstenkopfhalters hat. In Schritt b) wird der Vorratsbehälter in das Magazin eingesetzt, wobei man erkennt, daß die Bürste in einer Halterung an der rechten Seite des Magazins steckt. In Schritt c) wird der Bürstenkopfhalter in einen Bürstenkopf gesteckt und die Bürste damit einsatzbereit. In Schritt d) kann nun die Reinigung durchgeführt werden.
Fig.4 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäßen Bürstenkopfhalters 40 in Seitenansicht. Dieser unterscheidet sich von den obigen Ausführungsformen zunächst dadurch, daß der Stiel 5' eine Kröpfung α von ca. 155° aufweist. Dies ermöglicht auch die Reinigung von schwer zugänglichen Stellen an WC-Muscheln. Fig.5 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch den Bürstenkopfhalter von Fig.4, der aus Platzgründen in zwei Abschnitte getrennt wurde. Aus Fig.5 erkennt man weitere Unterschiede dieser Ausführungsform des Bürstenkopfhalters gegenüber jenen der Figuren 2 und 3. Der Bürstenkopfhalter 40 weist am bürstenkopfseitigen Ende im Inneren des Stiels 5' ein verschiebbares und längsgeteiltes Verbindungselement 11 auf, das mit einem biegsamen (notwendig aufgrund der Kröpfung) Fortsatz 4a des Druckknopfes 4 ineinandergreift und über einen Bolzen 9, der in Langlöchern 5a des Stiels 5' gleiten kann, Translationsbewegungen des Druckknopfes 4 an den hülsenförmigen Abwurfmechanismus 6 überträgt. Der Abwurfmechanismus 6 weist einen Flansch 6a auf, der als Anschlag für die Schutzhülle des Bürstenkopfes dient. Die Papierschutzhülle wird bis zu diesem Anschlag zurückgeschoben. Die Feder 12 stellt den Druckknopf 4 in seine Ausgangsposition zurück. Weiters schließt eine aufpressbare Kappe 8 den rohrförmigen Stiel 5' ab.
In Fig.6 ist eine weitere Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäßen Bürstenkopfhalters 60 dargestellt. Diese unterscheidet sich von der Ausführungsform der Figuren 4 und 5 hauptsächlich dadurch, daß der Stiel aus mehreren Teilen zusammengesetzt ist, nämlich einem Griffstück 5b, einem Konusteil 5c, einem Verbindungsrohr 5d, einem weiteren Verbindungsteil 5e und einem Kopfteil 5f. das die Langlöcher 5a für den Bolzen 9 aufweist, der das Verbindungsstück 11' durchsetzt. Über das Kopfteil 5f wird der Abwurfmechanismus 6 geschoben. Die Teile des Stiels können aus Kunststoff, bevorzugt jedoch aus rostfreiem Stahl geformt sein und werden durch Verkleben miteinander verbunden. Anders als in der vorhergehenden Ausführung weist der Druckknopf 4 keinen Fortsatz auf, sondern ist mittels einer Madenschraube 13 mit einem relativ steifen Niro-Draht 14 verbunden, dessen anderes Ende in das Verbindungsstück 11' eingreift. Der Draht 14 überträgt die Translationsbewegungen des Druckknopfes 4 an das Verbindungsstück 11'. Die Feder 12 dient wieder dazu, den Druckknopf 4 in seine Ausgangslage zurückzustellen. Das Verbindungsrohr 5d des Griffs wird vor dem Zusammenbau gebogen, um die oben erwähnte Kröpfung zu erzeugen.

Claims (14)

  1. Bürste, insbesondere WC-Bürste, mit einem Bürstenkopf und einem Bürstenkopfhalter, wobei der Bürstenkopf (10) lösbar unter Reibungsschluß auf den Bürstenkopfhalter (20, 30, 40, 60) aufschiebbar ist, und wobei der Bürstenkopfhalter (20, 30, 40, 60) einen Abwurfmechanismus (6) für den Bürstenkopf (10) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abwurfmechanismus (6) eine auf einem Stiel (5,5') gleitbare Hülse, die von einem Druckknopf (4) bewegbar ist, umfaßt.
  2. Bürste nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Druckknopf (4) einen Fortsatz (4a) aufweist, der mittelbar oder unmittelbar mit dem Abwurfmechanismus (6) verbunden ist.
  3. Bürste nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Druckknopf (4) über ein stabförmiges Element, vorzugsweise einen Draht (14), mittelbar oder unmittelbar mit dem Abwurfmechanismus (6) verbunden ist.
  4. Bürste nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abwurfmechanismus (6) als Anschlag zur Begrenzung des Aufschiebewegs des Bürstenkopfs (10) auf den Bürstenkopfhalter dient.
  5. Bürste nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bürstenkopf (10) ein entsorgbarer Einweg-Bürstenkopf ist.
  6. Bürste nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bürstenkopfhalter (30) einen Arretiermechanismus (bei 7) aufweist.
  7. Bürste nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Arretiermechanismus zumindest eine ausfahrbare. Kugel (7) bzw. einen ausfahrbaren Zapfen umfaßt.
  8. Bürste nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Stiel (5') eine Kröpfung (α) aufweist.
  9. Bürste nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie einen Bürstenkopf (10) mit Borsten (1) aus abbaubarem Material, insbesondere Papier, umfaßt.
  10. Bürste nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Borsten (1) des Bürstenkopfs an einem Montageelement, insbesondere einer Aufnahmehülse (2), aus abbaubarem Material, insbesondere aus Papier, angeordnet sind.
  11. Bürste nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Aufnahmehülse (2) des Bürstenkopfs hohlyzylindrisch ausgebildet ist, um auf einen zylindrischen Abschnitt des Bürstenkopfhalters (20, 30, 40, 60) aufgesteckt zu werden.
  12. Bürste nach Anspruch 9 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bürstenkopf mit einer die Borsten (1) umgebenden Schutzhülle (3) versehen ist.
  13. Bürste nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bürstenkopf aus wasserlöslichem Kunststoff besteht.
  14. Bürste nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bürstenkopf mit einem Reinigungs- und/oder Desinfektions- und/oder Duftmittel, vorzugsweise in Gelform, imprägniert ist.
